  1. Castro Not to borrow anything from Kashafa, but if someone hurt my children on purpose, I will kill them and look in their eyes while doing it. You are proving yourself to be a good seeflabood, that is why we always hastely jump to each other, but in all honest, why are you against the charitable deeds of those kids who were guarding the Somali seashore from the exploters, who then called us in their media as mere pirates?

The very first posts are these: T echnology has really transformed lives here in Cameroon. When mobile phones first came here, I remember how fashionable it was to be in possession of one, or even to be related to anybody who had one. People even used them as a fashion accessory. Some hung them around their necks like dogs on a leash, while others swung it ostentatiously from their hips. The ladies preferred to hold it as though showing the whole world. In as much as this has facilitated communication, it has its drawbacks. Some girls will do anything to have one even if it is in exchange for sex. Israel Ambe Ayongwa, Bamenda , Cameroon I am tired of mobile phones, since l have been robbed of eight of them! The last one was stolen just two days ago in the early morning. Mobile phone robbery is on the increase in Kampala. Even though mobile phones are popular and have made communication easy, they are expensive and poor people have gone starving in order to purchase them for showing off. The solution should be to install public pay phone booths in outlying areas rather than encouraging each individual to have a mobile phone. Ahmed Kateregga Musaazi , Kampala , Uganda Afrikeey Hurudooy ___________________ With all serious issues relating to technology, particularly the internet, labadaasna meesha wax ku qoray technology waxee kusoo koobeen kaliya the mundane cell phone and its trivia usage. And I think Soomaalida in Soomaaliya ayaaba dhaamo because in there, at least in most places, no body gives a hoot if you have a cell phone than the usual gun-toting robber. Saaxiib ka waran kuwa ku dhahaayo Soomaali hadaan nahay waxaan kasoo jeednaa African? Aniga koley Afrikaan maahi, Carabna maahi. Waxaan ahay Soomaali, Asalkeygu wuxuu galaa Odaygii la dhihi jiray Soomaali oo Muslimka ahaa. Nacam, waa shaash sheekada!
  3. ^^Yes, I would in the will of Allah. And you will see it, if you tend to be my guest under it one day!
  4. ^Saaxiib mudug horta nin qosol badan ayaa tahay, laakiin iga raali ahow hadaan ku dhaho waxaa tahay wiil socodkiisa markaan firiiyay Shukaansi barad ah . Marka waxaa u baahan tahay inaad gabdhaha ka xishootid oo aadan English-kaan aduunkoo dhan laga aqrisanaayo aadan wax kaga sheegin, soo maadan garan? Sheekada waan sii wadeynaa laakiin waa inaan u badalnaa sidii aan uga hadli laheyn labiska la xirto markii la rabo in gabar soomaali ah la shukaansado, iyo xitaa baraafuunka la isku buufiyo. That will do the work, I guess. Successful Shukaansi begins with the right dress you wear, so let's see things from the dressing point of view, ok.
  5. ^^Ok, mudantii haweenkaay. Waala galaa howshaas, waliba laga soo bilaabo naagtii caanka aheyd ee la dhihi jiray Caraweelo ilaa laga soo gaaro jiilka aad ku jirtid adiga. Ee ii kaadi bal aan kasoo faaruqee dhanka dumarka. Shaah kulul ii dhiib horta aan caajiska iska kiciyee!

  7. ^^Subxaanalaah, I never thought that was the case, walaahi! Please inform us as you obtain the information pertaining to his case and legal procedures he has to undergo. My question, Mr. Hornafrique, is this truly a conspiracy by some elements within our community or its the government who is trying him on some terror related allegations? It seems to me that Sh. Ibrahim was the most dillegent dacwah agents in our community, and indeed has nothing to do with any wrong doings in the law of this country. I don't understand why such individuals of high integrity within our community are simply blamed for the sheer position they hold for our people! Silly people are every where, trying to stop the message of our religion from reaching others!
  8. I would rather have Mudul/Cariish in the midst of Some where in Somalia, instead of dwelling in a such foreign designed houses! The so-called somaliland village has changed anything in pursuit of british standard of living. That is a sad reality right there!

  12. Caqliga waa heybad uu ilaah bixiyo, rag iyo dumarna waa loo siman yahay. Hadaba waxaa caaqil ah qofka xusuusan ilaah iyo maalinta qiyaame, una shaqeysta, waxaana doqon ah qofka intaas iska-dhagatiro oo adduun iyo howle kale ka raacda. For example, if you ask some people about intellegence, they would say Bill Clinton or Fircoon, or Bill Gate was an intellegent person, while measuring everything in terms of material bases, but the real intellegence is the one that resides intrinsically and directs its person towards the Creator. To me, if you want to see an intellegent person of our time, see sh. Cumar Faaruuq, the great interpretor of the Holy Quran. He happen to be one of the amazing scholars in our society who poineered with the most effective method in translating the quran in somali language without leaving any ambiguities in the listeners mind. Do I make sense here? Nevermind my bad InQilish!

  14. Cajiib! Didn't I say "Don't come in" somewhere at the main door in this thread? Why are you all entring my indian ocean? Ok, in revenge of that, I have to enter your indian ocean, and try to swimm everywhere until everyone realizes that I am into your baddahaaga iyo howlaha maraakiibta!
  15. Inaa lilaahi wa inaa ileyhi raajicuun! Subxaanalaah, Ma shiiq ibraahim Dheere ayaa la xiray oo seattle muslimiinta joogta imaamka u ahaa? Walaahi waa wax laga naxo, ilaaheey waxaan ka baryayaa inuu asagoo nabad qabo inuu kasoo baxo dhibkaas ay u maleegeen gaallada. Walaahi waxaa qofkasta oo Muslim ah la gudboon inuu shiiq Ibraahim Dheere u duceeyo, oo wixii aan qaban karno arintaas ka geysano, sababtoo ah culimadeena hadii aanan u gurman si wada jir ah, dhibku intaas waaka sii badanayaa runtii. xitaa aan isku dayno inaan si wada jir ah baaqyo iyo qoraalo aan arintaas uga cabaneyno soomaali ahaan iyo muslim ahaan u gaarsiino saxaafada iyo cid walba oo nala gurman karta. Ilaaha casiiska ah hana furto, aamiin.
  16. ^^Saaxiib mudug, garoob ma rabtaa, mise waxaaga gabar lee waaye?
  17. I want to have my own topic, without anyone interferring my indian ocean. Ok, what can I talk about now.........., Well, it takes alot to come up a great topic, isn't it? Now, I have to sit and think about the greatest topic in the world; I mean a topic that can attract all mankind. Wait a minute..... somebody is knocking the door!
  18. Sister Lander, I realy liked your topic, and I think I should highly credit your amazing initiative for solving the mystery of somali men's childishness with your great advices about fearing Allah. Masha-allah, you are an excellent girl who is very truthful to the reality on the ground. Please, do so as always, hoping some people will eventually grasp your indeed views. Let me be the first man to accept your heroic advices, now. Haye abaayo, nabadeey, waana kuu duceeyay inuu ilaah janadiisa ku geeyo, aamiin.
  19. In our male's secret agenda about marrying the future wife, we say, "Naag been ayaa lagu soo xero galiyaa, runna waa lagu dhaqaa", which means in english you can only subdue a women with clever lie, (during shukaansi), but engage her with truth in marriage. we mastered breaking contracts and deals to an extent of breaking every oath and signing contracts that our warlords make for Somalia! What do you expect a poor contract with gabar hadhow bacdaada qaado ku dhaheyso!
  20. Originally posted by Aeronwen: She must be young She must be pretty She must be a good labourer ^^ The universal and timeless requirements of men when it comes to women. Abaa quruxda amaan si kale u naqaan, meela badana wey gashaa, marka qurux eragya la dhaho waxaa moodaa inaan la isku raacsaneyn. Marka from universality of such statements is not valid unless it becomes compatible with the ancient wisdom of somali men, because that is more universal enough in terms of their dillegent works and superior discoveries of human needs. Igu raac arintaas, anigaa ku iriye!
  21. Alle-ubaahne should have an extra hands to tackle the spread of these deadly idealogies against our respectable culimo iyo wadaado. I have to reckon a crusade in defense of the integrity of our people's eyes, spiritual leaders. Ii kaadi bal aan gaashaanka iyo waranka soo qaatee!
  22. Femme, that is right, my younger sister . Our decent culture expects more on our women, but not today's women. There is a great distinction between today's women and our great grandmothers. Just thinking about the nature of the previous great somali women makes me lose the appetite for these feminist women running around every where today. An epoch to incline and the people to be proud of only exist in our history, thus making everything we see now the least quality. Iga daa ha igu soo qaadine! lol
  23. Ok, now that our great grandfathers had many wisdoms to offer in terms of beauty aspects, let's consider the negative negative behavioural characters said on women by our Ancient elders. Haweenka Saddex Baa U Xun: (1)Sodohdeed La Caaytama = She always argues with her mother-in-law (2)Soojeeda Dhega Weyn = Basically dumb in her presence, Doqon (3)Soofka u Dhaqaal Daran = Very reckless in taking care of her family property the quest for digging more about this subject is going to be continued, since its very intriguing as a literature, insha-allah, to make sure we present the purity of our ancient father's attitude and understanding towards the world of our early Ayeeyooyin.
  24. Originally posted by Femme.: Alle-Ubaahne, Classic case of 'does my niqaab make my kubk/bari look fat?' You either choose one or the other..cant be sticking both fingers in the pie friend! You of all people judging a woman by her physical assets...in your own words..aint she supposed to be covered from head to foot? Iga daa hada ciyaarta Femme, I was just joking. You know even if I was given the chance to glance at Kub Cadaan badan, I wouldn't look at it, since Kub fiiriyow clears the way for Bari fiiriyow. By the way, sister Femme, when it comes literature we've to make some retrospectives in the ancient mindworks of our people to see the remains we've in our current attitudes. And believe me, I am only offering my take as to what I would preffer in my dreamy hand-made selections off women's beauty. But for a shiiq like Alle-ubaahne, what matters most is the Diin and the spiritual sense of the person, which is the best out of the four categories that people select their mate in marriage aspects. Now you understand the seeflabood, I surmise!
  25. Also, in the same ancient measurement for beauty evaluations are three other attributions that are important in the intrinsic characteristical beauty of women, oo ah inay saddex u gaabnaato: Codka Cuntada iyo Camalka Who likes to spend live with a glutton woman, or an ever loudly speaking girl, or an angry woman with all her dealings? Not me, for sure! lol But guys, I bear witness that our great grandfathers were an expert for understanding the true elements that perfectly deserve for considerations in choosing Gabar Shax Shax ah.
