That was a great doze of laughter that you gave us, yaa Sh. Nur. ahahaha

Wallee Ilaahey xikmad iyo caqli saliim ah waaku maneystay walaalkeen Sh. Nur. Waxaa waanno iigu filnaatay jawaabihii uu siiyay walaalkeen xiinfaniin. Mowduucaan iyo dooda taagan maanta ayaa runtii waxay ku sifeysan tahay labada dhinac ay kala taagan yihiin walaalaheen(Nur iyo Xiin) oo mushtamaca soomaaliyeed badankiis ay heystaan qadiyadda uu Sh. Nur ka sharqamiyay. Runtiina, marka laga soo tago diinteena waxa ay ka leedahay arimahaan, xitaa caqliga markii loo bandhigo arimahaan, waxay noqoneysaa in fakarka ah wax halagu badbaadsho 4.5 uusan aheyn mid shaqeyn kara, oo xitaa markii la isku dayay uu shaqeyn waayay si kastoo la iskugu dayay in shaatiyo kala nooc ah loogu galsho. Mushkilada Soomaaliya heysata waa cadow shisheeye oo faragalin nooc walba leh ku haya ummadda. Waxaa labeysa arintaas waa in yar oo aan raad badan ku laheyn shacabka soomaaliyeed oo isku sheegta iney masuuliyiin ama horjoogayaal qabiil yihiin. Kuwaas waan ka dharagsan nahay maanta darajada ay shacabka dhexdiisa ku leeyihiin. Hadaba aniga waxaan qabaa in maanta fursad weyn ah la hayo, oo wadanka diinta Islaamka lagu xukumo, isla markaasna aan loo aabayeelin oraahda raqiiska ah ee kasoo yeereysa wuxuu walaalkeey Nur ku tilmaamay "Qurumaha Midoobay" sababtoo ah kuwaas ma garanayaan xalkeena, mana rabaan inaan hal habeen xitaa aan wanaag ku barino. Qaadashada Kitaabka waa isku duubni, horumar iyo shacabka oo iskutashada fakar iyo wax wadaqabsi buuxa. Waxay naga kaafineysaa fikirka shisheeye inaan mardanba weeleyno, waxay noo horseedeysaa inaan cududeena iskugu geeno sidaan cashar lama ilaawaan ah uga qaadeyn laheyn mugdigii 18-ka sano oo aan iska jirno qiyaanooyinka cadowga. Waxaan rabaa inaan weydiiyo Xiinfaniin, hadii uu caalamka wanaaga Soomaaliya rabo iyo in dowlad iyaga u fiican meesha ka dhalato, maxay ugu yaraan nacfi ama maalgalin u qalanta ugu beeli waayeen dowlad ku-sheega 4.5, oo Ciidanka AMISOM maxaa loogu badali waayay kuwa Soomaaliyeed, oo loogu qasbi waayay SL, PL iyo urur goboleedyadaas kale iney qeyb buuxda ka noqdaan 4.5 ka Sh. Shariif hadii kale ay noqonayaan argagixiso? Koleey meesha dowladi ma jirto, siduu sheegay Sh. Nur, laakiin waxaa is weydiin mudan xikmada ka danbeysa in la taageero nidaam qaldan oo hadii la isku dayo in la dabaqo aan loogu fadhin inuu natiijo fiican soo saaro. Jawaabta quseysa al-shabaab ee uu Xiin soo waddo ganbar ayaan ugu fadhiyaa... ee halkaas kasii wada dood cilmiyeysan oo aan axkaamta ku xadgubeynin, Inshallah. Ugu danbeyntii, Salaan qaali ah iga gudoon Sh. Nur, Ilaahey haku xifdiyo adduun iyo aakhiro, aamiin.

I, ah, well you know, I know I was I supposed to, ummm, oh well gosh I don't, I mean, TWO YEARS, how is a girl, er, he means nothing, I swear! But here you are and that's all that matters, right? Right? There is really a Somali maahmaah that is so pertinent to the artistic remarks of my old wadaad/sister Cara...a definitive saying that fits our context, along the lines of (kaad ku ogeyd maahan), at the end. Oh, thank you so much, dumaashi, and convey my greetings to brother Caano Geel, my old rival who earned what he earned in my long absence. Yes, he deserves, indeed! For my brother Kashafa, I will talk to you, IA. Brother Taliban was really a gentle brother that I loved him for Allah's sake. He was really an intellectual, a walking wisdom that I have yet to encounter again online. I hope he's doing well and contacts us for a blessed reunion to build a strong team here that liberates the entirety of the www. Aamiin to that.

Yes, in certain sectors, including our business presence in some regions, dealings with the non Somalis, contributions to the local activities especially where Somalis are concentrated in large numbers. Don't be hopeless, awoowe. Some of us had made strides in representing our image very positively.
-
All over again! I remember this racist dude writing up series of racist articles about the small Somali community in TN. I think he is a cohort for those anti-immigration organizations who awarded him at some point for his bigotry against Somalis. We should stand up to such negative characterizations that undermine our image, I think.

Good question, awoowe. But what would you think I was busy throughout that period, given the political climate in the country that presses some of us? For Sheherezede, what's up with the image, walaashiis? It seems that you are gassing up for something against me! Please, spare me this time, am only for PSP, which stands for peaceful shukaansi programs, a political term that I recently barrowed from Iran's Peaceful Nuclear Program. And the 'yes-we-can' style of inexpensive wedding, which outsources the whole ceremonial event to Somalia to benefit the relatives there. Now, are you fired up?

Assalaamu Caleykum awooweyaal/ayeeyooyi n! Thank you all for the warm welcome, my old SOL friends. What a journey! After two long years of a seperation, not a divorce, we're here again, back together for a renewed contract that would present an evolved AU with a new vigor and energy, especially for those 'potential wife-to-be crowds' who have not yet married! (ahaha just joking, ok) But seriously, it is a great opportunity to be part of what I always considered was a marketplace of contending ideas that reflect the nature of mindset in our young diaspora generations. With SOL population of diverse viewpoints, AU believes strong debates from an ultra-conservative, traditionalist perspective with principles are here as an added-enhancements to your quality and allevated discussions, Insha-Allah. Putting it differently, AU has changed, and change is what you will eventually eat and drink from his everlasting well of wisdom. (Note: a changed AU has always being a positive one, one that would prompt you to believe that conservatives can change without becoming flip-floppers. See my SOL record for a refference.) For old friends and foes, assurances are given as the new AU you are going to experience from the rest of 2009 will engage you positively in every conceivable way possible, free from anything that would keep you on the fence, and more sheherzede-friendly style in approaches, (believing if you can be friendly with Sheherzede, you can be the best kasbund in the world, lol don't worry, walaashiis, I still like you and Cara, two strong designees for my future) and with politically domesticated and borderline liberal views that espouse Sh. Shariif's non-voilence at one level, but tactical infusions from the humors of old AU. Special thanks to my great and distinguished brother Castro, the man who has made me a socialist in the closet, but with profound nationalist sentiments over the years. Also, having now a direct contect with Brother Nur, whom I lost him in my sudden rendetion program to offline prisons, is indeed another monumental opportunity to solidify the brotherhood relationship we had forged earlier, as I acknowledge a deep sense of sheer loyalty for his outstanding services, in terms of enlightenment, to our online communities. I really can't express how much I missed fellow friends who had contributed to my growth as I did to them with our passionate exchanges over the years in both intellectually and socially by exploring things, defining positively my early presences in SOL. Thank you, saaxiibayaal! To Libaax-Sankataabte, the patient guard, I salute you brother with a beaming respect for granting me an offline opportunity, though I lost several gabdho ahaha(no kidding, in the plurals with 's', having had a full-time involvements in the political and general sections), but with that, I truly appreciate your impartial judgement at the time that led me redeem myself voluntarily. But more precisely, I thank you for the tireless dedication and patience that you've shown in the past with the Seeflabood Alle-Ubaahne, who has now promised to be the ever seef-lama-boode and refined civil with his personal presentations in the corridors of this wonderful site for good Nomads. Now, I will sit back and read from your narrations about the changes, including the marital status, if any, of the countless members of SOL qalanjooyin, assuming Ngonge, my good old friend, will give me a dose of gossip, lol, about the social landscape and state of affairs in SOL. By the way, sulatations to Xiin, Paragon, Ngonge, FB, Nuune, my man in D.C. Kashafa and among other respectable odayaal and gabdhaha sharafta badan, such as Xidigo, (she used to be so quite, I guess am lucky seeing her grown in perfection ahahaha, I have a special present for you from the Xaj, remind me later, ok), though I can't list all their names here. Thank you, again aqyaarta. Call it the return of Alle-ubaahne and the era of online peace, IA.

The abduction of the scholars/intellectua ls and the religious leaders should always be countered with strong resistance. The reaction of Bosaso city to this incident indicates that our people there have still the strong moral responsibility that is sufficient to defend the leaders of our sacred institutions. With that responsibility, the masses will always stand with the truth the same way they did in Mogadishu when the despicable warlords attempted to abduct our learned people. Allahu Akbar, indeed!

Oh, he is talking about a grandiose project, of building a new city or may be a new economy from the scratch! This is may be the fanciest part of the dream of Ethiopian dabo-dhilif to abandon the old dream of invading Somalia and to sway for the new dream of building a shelter for the unbecoming dream that is to be dreamed in the next time of sleep! Wallee sheekadii iney saan dhaleyso looma fadhin! Caku iyo flip-floping dabo-dhilif!!

Originally posted by Northerner: ppl why all the negativity? Not one of us can truly say somalia is a hopeless state, and anybody who does is weak. When it comes to politics in the region, i'm the first one to admit that we are not the best of politicians. However, i hope insha-allah, when i have done what i have need to do in the UK, i will go back and see what i could do and hope others like me will be there doing the same. Insha-allah all will be well, ameen! I agree with this great gentleman, indeed. Yaan naxariista ilaahey laga quusan, waxaa quusta oo kaliyah kuwa gaalada ah, nacam, that is absulately true. The more I see the person is leaning towards Aduunyo and Gaalo ideology, is the more I find they are hopeless. Somalia has undergone many more problems than this 16 years of political instability, but the difference today is that we've got many people like Che who insist to keep Somalia with words, having no sacrifices. He believes that Somalia needs what the U.S. has, of freedom, of security, of prosperity and so forth, but he also believes such ideals can be obtained by mere words, without struggling for them. Our past generations had suffered indeed to make possible what defines us as qowmiyad and bulsho la yiraahdo Soomaali. They fought and worked hard to bring about what they cared so much about freedom of Islam and freedom to be loyal and brave Muslims. But today, the west had tricked us with the worest programs of the world by taking our youth to Qurbo and making them cowards who brag about the disavowing of their country. At least the African Americans were snatched out from their beloved homelands in Africa by force, and we know what becomes of them after living in the west for several centuries, but my problem is those of us who came here and stayed for less than 10 years to come out and say 'We need to give up our country if we can't become like the other countries with intact nationhood'. Wallee hadeey dhalinteena sidaas u fakarayaan, reer galbeed waa naga raayeen, iney naga dhigaan 'self-haters who hate everything about themselves including our great past'. Che, ilaahey haku soo hanuunsho, adeer! -
Originally posted by OLOL: people who want to have or see a government of some sort established in Somalia are few parasites who thrive on nepotism and corruption. As we all aware of , most third world and african governments are led by incompetent men who call themselves leaders but in reality are clannish buffoons, opportunistic elitists, warlord thugs or authoritarian military men . They abuse power and accumulate wealth (the hand-outs from international donors) at the expenses of the suffering masses and then let thir cliques also benefit of this trickle-down embezzlement of public funds. Never in their mind crosses to develop and invest. Somalis rebelled and stood up to such systems led by such men. Through the last 17 years of civil war and insanity, the Somali business community thrived astronomically thanks to no government intervention of the market dynamics. There were no taxation, no tariffs and no limitations of trade and commerce. Thousands of Somalis abroad also contributed a hefty amount of money into this unregulated and booming market. I for, one as a student of international trade and law oppose to see big government established in Somalia. I am for free markets but also I am for equal opportunity and competition for all. If there is a need for government, it must be a small one with limited time, powers and mandate. Call that whatever, but that is what most Somalis want. No corruption, no nepotism, no big brother. Some Somalis are natural born entrepreneurs, while others are lazy leechers. The ones who advocate for government are leechers who can't earn their livelihood in a free-market based economy. They have limited creativity and probably were never thought to work to survive. These are here with us in the Diaspora and sit idle and collet welfare. The business-minded Somalis are working hard as professionals, rising college kids, buying trucks, have investment pools and travel as far to China, Hong Kong, Thailand and have their financial base in Dubai. Somalis are venturing to open business opportunities in remote places as Mali, Chad, Gabon. Some are even braving in the gang-filled slums in South Africa to run shops and make money. None of these people want to see a big government in Somalia. That is right walaahi, and I agree with you entirely; those who seek government tend to be fraudulistic, Shaxaad-ku-nool, ma-shaqeystayaal and mere boosters who live on the public taxations and celebrate for the becoming of their uncles as the head of the state. A prime example of this is Taako Man and Sakhar who are overly intoxicated with the position of their uncle that they lean on to be lifeline of their existance! Any government for Somalia should be an Islamic one who is geared towards the protection of its people from the outside enemy. The days when one had to say, Aabaheey ayaa wasiir ah, abtigeey ayaa gabadha Yeey qabo, are long gone. No more nepotism. The only respect one can get in working for a somali government is to be a mujaahid who works for the Ummah and expects the rewards from Allah alone. With that, its impossible for these stoogies to say we are seeking a public position to enhance our pride within the society!

We are fully prepared for the war, the war that we were preparing all along, and this time, we want the ultimate victory from Allah. Allah (sw) will help us, our freedom-fighters (freedom meant Islam in this case) will not give in, nor do they aim to retreat; Insha-Allah we will put up the best fight in which the enemy could be swallowed at one gulp. If we die, we die with dignity and Islam on our side, and if we make it, we will live with Islam and pass that hard-won dignity to the next generations of our great Somali society. Bush will fail, Blair will cry and Mele Zenawi will visit the graves of thousands of his relatives in the death zones of Mogadishu as a captive of the coming war! Dabo-dhilifs will end with this war, and history will never mention about their roles in Somalia, only the defeat of one package of an anemy will be told from the perspective of our victories army. I will not talk, IA, this week is going to be a history for the enemy of somalia, and the battle will bring more deaths to them, and that Somalia will be a lesson that is to downlook on what happen in Vietnam. I will pray to Allah, and confine myself in constant prayers for the fighting army of our nation, and again, Allah will surely answer our calls. And ilaahayoow, please make it a simple 'rigooro' for us, for we can't shoot the ball to the goal unless you direct to it, from both angles or to the center, or without the attempt of the goalkeeper, i.e. Axmaarka or Dabo-dhilifka!

My dear beerlula sister, I now call you gabadhii fiicneed ee aan wali qaangaarin arimaha siyaasada. Please don't become the likes of General Duke, and you will always obtain my prayers to enhance your life and wellbeing, which will eventually land you on a good man, like Paragon or Xiinfaniin! nabadeey

poor beerlula, you are accusing him of believing the same thing from two things; one of killing the criminal member of the criminal TFG and the other is caring about Somalia of the criminal entity has done to its people in Mogadishu. You have a comprehension problem of what a pure position means in this regard; i advise you to consult with the biggest dabo-dhilif in here to decipher for you what M. Bada Cas has wrote in the above. As of now, we should take your points in the opposite direction and against what you say, so that that would save you from being called insane or gabar waalatay oo xirxir u baahan!
