Call me little impatient, but it's been long overdue that Somaliland must uphold its pride as Muslim nation, not a place that has soft spot for anything outside the framework. Just recently, dahir rayaale kahin offered the port of Berbera for international use for fight against pirates. That to me is risky and irresponsible and quite frankly shows how cheap we simply are willing to risk our main venue of income for cheap 'notice' from the international community. I want tough, pride Muslim nation led by tough and no nonsense leaders. Thirdly, I never openly said Alshabab should take over Somaliland. I rather announced that I would be open to the possibility that Somaliland should work with Islamic sharica based entity . If Alshabab has better things to offer than current SL adminstration, That is yet to be determined simply because Alshabab, though very promising is in its early stages as a movement. SNM gave birth to Somaliland, then was dismantle afterwards; its fighters integrated into the army, its learned men became politicians. Alshabab is going through the libration stages still, therefore I am not naive to propose that we should give in to them. That would be insane. It will take them some time for them implement their goals and everything. We shall then see what they have to offer.
