Read even third party accounts of the war. The southern front was very important in breaking the camels' back, however the Northern Front saw most of the major battles. By 1989,when USC was declared the SNA was significantly weakened and only required little push at the end to expell them. By the time the USC fighters entered Muqdisho in 1991, the only forces that remained were the Red berets, who were selected few from Gen. Afwayne immediate clan family. The the bulk of the SNA army were either destroyed up North or defected to various other movements. Again taarikhda ha sinaysan inta aad is leedahay dad la dood. Few highlights of the SNM's fighting spirit was the captured of the major cities of Hargeisa and Burco BEFORE formation of the USC itself. These two cities were highly defended and fortified by the SNA yet the SNM succeeded in taking full control of both. When it became clear that SNA could not win hand to hand combat, Gen. Samatar ordered leveling of both towns by the SNA and South African mercenery pilots to regain control.

Laakin hada runtu waxay tahay hadii maanta Buhoodle loo daayo, barina iyagoo lasoo hubeeyey ayey ku soo galayaan oo burco kuugu imanayaan. Balo inta ay dhaw dahay ayaa la iska qabta. Raali iga ahaada rer Somaliland hadii aan yara tararaxay oo siyaasada aan ka yara dhacay. Laakin mar marka qaar waa la iskaga baahan yahay in Jidh xunta yac la iska yidhaahdo. Hadii kale ciyaalka ayaa soo xaar tagaya.
  5. Xaaji Xundjuf, thanks for enlightening us. I will count on you to give me the inside scoop of what is happening in that part of Togdheer. Taleexi & Khadar, Waano iyo Walaltimo maanta inoo ma taal. Mar hadaad dagaal u gashamanteen, waxa in dhex yaala waa dagaal(mid af)iyo mid adinba. Hadii aad naga adkaatan, waan idiin qiri doonaa. Laakin hadii ay guushu maanta raacdo ciidanka Somaliland waxa idiin haboon in aydun calashiin urursataan oo maandhow iska guurtaan, xagaa iyo Bari guntii(:

I'm reasonable and peaceful person. But when you anounced a sideshow called SSC/Khatumo state than called clan jihad against Somaliland, assasinated high profile somaliland military officers, ambush number of military posts in the area without ever giving a peace is what gives us the legal authority for somaliland to defend itself. We are threatened by you, saaxib. All this call for "SNM ta ha laayo" by a town in Southern Togdheer will offcourse alarm us, so you cannot expect us to sit idle while you slowly progressed towards creating unwelcomed and hostile enviroment. We will stop you and will deal death blow to your SSC miltia. I understand I'm not an spokersperson for Somaliland, but this sentiment is shared by all of us. We won't wait until you destablise Somaliland from within, we will confront you in the battle fields and we will crush you. Now you either except peace and come to the negotiationing table or you contiue to embark in the dangerous path you are on. Your choice, rer Buhoodle.
  8. Give Silaanyo a Call maybe or better yet ask Xaabsade since he is Afhayeenka Saxafada. Anagu Maraykan iyo Ingriiska baanu kula joogna. Hadii aad ledahay aan ka wada hadalno arinkan, kaalay oo koob shaaha inta kuu qaada aan ka faqno say wax ujiraan sxb.

They paint these old smoke-producing metals and they parade them as the technicals of ciidanka qaranka, itself a qat-addicted club of skinny camelboys. The SNM leadership are quite advanced in the art of mugging those who trust them, like the hugger-muggers of greater Manchester. loooool wallahi you got jokes. ahahahahah

I understand. I am afraid I do not understand. As I remember you use to be reasonable and equal oppurtunity basher for all things Somali. Your critism well thought out and mostly founded on facts. However, lately you seem to be on crusade against everything and anything Jamhuriyada Somaliland to a degree unrivaled by Somaliland' worst enemies. I don't buy the fact that it has started with Somaliland involvement in Buhoodle; you were ardently pro Somaliland during the conflict in Las Anod, Sool. So what has changed? Can we reach the conclusion that you are 'born again D-block". (:
  11. They are not 'boys' mr. Xiinfaniin, they are paid volunteers dressed to kill. Killing and being killed is part of what they do. In this critical juncture they are on mission against armed groups who pose significant threat to Somaliland's stability. As such the Republic of Somaliland has the legal authority to use its troops to the full extend. As citizen of Somaliland I fully support and congratuate them for defending Somaliland's peace against ever growing threat from the usual suspects.

  13. xiinfaniin;780085 wrote: ^^You understand nothing Oodweyne Do you get the news today about teh shellacking of your SNM boys in Sooljoog? Taking Buhoodle town at this moment is futile. To dislodge the SSC miltia from the town is not major obstacle, it's how to govern the town thereafter. For more on how to do this refer to "taking of Las Anod" 2.0 edition.
  14. Abtigiis, Hows the situation you painted for us in Somaliland any different than Bosaaso? There you can find Ethiopian mostly of Oromo migrants there as well. I don't know how inter marrying with Oromo people translates to lowered status as human being. I personally have no issue with Oromos coming to Somaliland to find whatever Somaliland has to offer. You cannot call yourself a Muslim and yet display to us what a racist bigot you are against the Muslim Oromo nation. To claim you watched as two people humped each other is comical to say the least, unless offcourse you were peeping from the opening gaps of the closet door(: I'd say naga baandhee bahasha and resume the political fadhi ku dirir. That is more fitting for you.
  15. Loool Someone is mad as hell. When he couldn't take the heat he resorted to only weapon available in his arsenal, cheap remark meant to stir controversy. Don't bite folks.
  16. May those who joyfully anticipate and wish of the destruction of Somaliland never succeed. Allah does not aide those who seek others' misery. Somaliland: Allow daa kana Ilaali xasidka iyo masaska soo xuub siibtay.
  17. Subxanallah Ilaahay ha unaxariisto intii dhimatay.
  18. Western Puntland state within Puntland state of Somalia. So this makes Galkacayo the first city in history to house three regional adminstrations which are PSS, WPS, and GSS. Interesting.
  19. I made reference to recent history to prove a point. Calm down man.

There WERE injustices commited(well documented too) against' Silanyu's 'clan', he didn't just "called it". The fact that you and others legtitmatize and proudly support Barre regime's criminal and genocidal actions against the civilian population of Somaliland is the real Irony in here. You need to admit the crimes of the somali govt and you need to distance yourselves from it if you expect any sympathy for your cause. Needless to say, you won't do that and we know why.
  21. Letter to my prodigal abtiyaashay Dear Abtiyaal, Waaryaadaheen, May the bones of Suldaan Guuleed stalk me wherever I go, whenever the sun sets, if I hate you, if I wish you harm, or if I forsake you at your times of need! No. I have cried when you were crying, and I have felt your pain when you were in pain. But that is yesterday. Today, you are inflicting pain and misery on others; you are fully walking into Siyaad’s shoes as protectors of ‘sovereignty’ and using it to justify aggression and oppression of others. And therefore, we should raise our voices and warn you, censure you not as an attack but in the spirit of solidarity, for those who advise you right are your friends, not enemies. The SNM fought against oppression, but it soon become clear that the real leitmotif of the whole struggle was about clan conceit. Otherwise, why not come up with political arrangements that will ensure the past never comes back by way of constitutional guarantees? Why not even take the lead and rule Somalia? And if you don’t want both of that, why not simply focus your project to its real target beneficiaries? No, this secession thing is not about future progress, not about past injustices, not about present challenges. It is not about politics, economics or logic. It is about capricious clan conceit, and that is what makes me oppose it. But I am hopeful. The prodigal abtiyaal are reaching the end of the road. And they will soon hit the return lane of the road. Single tear.
  22. Well Turkey has every right to extend humantarian assistance to their needy brethrens in Palestine or in Somalia. Having warships accompany the aid vessels does not mean war neccesarily. It basically demostratesTurkey's firm stance on getting that aid to the Palestinian brothers and making sure all their vessels and crew return to their point departure safely.
