SALAMU CALAYKUM, BROTHER LIIBAN, DON'T MAKE SORRY EXCUSES YOURSELF. I THOUGHT THE FLAMES PLAYED A GOOD GAME BUT THEY WERE TOO SLOW AND COULDN'T MATCH THE YOUNG AND HIGH FLYING MINNESOTA WILD. ON MY SIDE, I THOUGHT THE WILD COULD HAVE PLAYED BETTER STILL AND DO SOME MORE DAMAGE TO THE FLAMES. SO YOU WERE LUCKY THAT THE WILD WEREN'T AT THIER BEST. BUT DON'T PANIC BRO, WE ARE IN THE SAME DIVISION AND WE WILL SEE YOU ONCE AGAIN.BY THEN WE WILL SEE IF IT WAS JUST ONE GAME OR THE WILD ARE BETTER TEAM.

Dear Hasseena, Just to clear up your doubts. Yes the Quran is a perfection for the previous revelations as well as a new message that will guide us as time changes. And yes all Prophets were all Muslims, They all have one thing in common that There is no god worthy of worship other than Allah. They did have different scriptures that were given to them to suit the time and situations each prophet was in. After all the defination of Islam is a self surrender to Allah, subhanahu watacala. Anyone from the times of our beloved father and Allah's friend Abraham to our dear noble Prophet who was the most loved and most rightous of anyone and anything that Allah has created can all be considered Muslims as long as each of them believed the teachings of their messagers, which was to self surrender to the creator of everything;Allah, subhanahu watacala. Thanks and salamu calaykum. Ramadan karim.

Salamu calaykum, Hockey is indeed a good game, I mostly like its fast pace action but I rather careless about injuries and fights. All I want to see are slapshots from the blue line or spectacular saves. I am not in Canada; home of the hockey, but I am in the U.S's state of Minnesota, which is the hockey world for the U.S. Does anyone know the wild, we beat the daylight out of the Calgary Flames on Wednsday. You ask what the score was, it was indeed 6-3 Wild. It was wild one I tell you, Chouinard of the Wild scored a hat trick. Thanks and Salamu calaykum and ramadan Karim.

Somali President Sends Ramadan Greetings To Muslims Everywhere!!!
RedSea replied to Camel Mlik's topic in Politics
SALAMU CALAYKUM, RAMADAN GREETINGS? YEAH RIGHT. HE NEEDS TO ASK ALLAH FOR FORGIVNESS OVER HIS PAST HISTORY OR HE IS A HISTORY. AND WHAT PRESIDENT, ISN'T A PRESIDENT A ONE ELECTED BY THE MAJORITY OF HIS PEOPLE?. IF WE FOLLOWED THIS RULE HE WOULDN'T BE CONSIDERED A PRESIDENT. LET US STOP PRETENDING THAT WE HAVE REAL PRESIDENT IN SOMALIA AND INSTEAD ELECT A FAITHFUL MUSLIM LEADER WHO CAN TELL RIGHT FROM WRONG. PEACE FELLOWS. -
Salamu Calaykum, Brother Beduine, it's your choice if you want to let it slide or not. There are no different or mix messages in my message bro, but whoever responds to me in a positive and informative way,I respect and I disagree with them in proffesional way. If that is what makes someone to be called crazy individual then let it be. Puntland is a peaceful region and I have to give them credit and respect them at that , at the same time I disagree with their views they have about Somaliland. In my view there is nothing wrong about having different opinions on some topics, the problems come when unecessary name calling occurs. Beduine bro, if you don't know anything about politics, don't stick your nose in it. Instead go to the joke section of SOL or somewhere else. thanks sxb.

Salamu Calaykum to all Muslim, My brother Somaal, I thank you for your understanding and cooperation to end the endless cycle of accusations that we have experienced while ago. If only more people were thinking like us, maybe that would have been enough to solve the problems facing Somalis as a whole. I would like for all nomads in this political form to understand that Somaliland, Puntland, and the rest of Somali's land including northern frontier district, Western Somalia currently occupy by the kafirs of Ethiopia, are all our land. Therefore anything harmful that touches those regions are harmful to any other Somali. So I would like for all Somalis to realize if Hargeisa is rebuilding and quickly becoming one of the delightful places in Africa and the port of Basaso is bustling with business, they should be proud of it and should not quickly search a way to accuse the success of those poeple, after all they are your people. The point I am trying to make here exactly is that the first step to solving our problems are first make every region of former Somalia republic peaceful, then hold talks and work things from there. But while Moqdhiso is in choas and many other places in the Southern Somalia are still in the mix of problems, it's hard to accuse anyone. Let Somaliland be Somaliland and let Puntland be Puntland, then work out the problems in the south. After that we can sit down and hold elections; free elections based on the Islmic shariica way of electing a faithful and trusted Muslim leader who can justly serve the new United Islamic state of Somalia. Then we could clean up the mess left behind by wars, build roads and bridges, build telephone systems again, electricity, and build a strong army distrubuted from all somali tribes that all believe in one thing; the Islamic faith and the right to defend the nation from external threat only. Those are my believes and my ideas on how we can solve the problems facing the Somali people. Allah will then be praising us and trouble will be lifted from the Somali people. It will be great to see Moqdisho become more beuatiful then ever before, Hargeisa become the north star city it meant to be and Las Anod and Buroa the stratigic place they come to be. It will be great to see Berbera and Bosaso serve as the main ports of Northern Islamic state of Somalia, and Kismayo, Marka, and Moqdisho in the south. It will be nice to see the ancient cities of Zeilac and the historic Taleex and eyle rebuild from the rubbles once again. Those are my imaginations my brothers and sisters that I thought I wanted to share with you, they are my dreams and hopes for Somalis everywhere. I ask all Somalis to give up the clanish mess and start realizing that the world has left us behind while we are in the mess of triblism. We are Somalis and most importantly all Muslims. Rather than accusing each other let us make ducaa in this noble month and ask Allah to lift the hardships and problems that Somalis are facing. Those are the responsibilities of each and every Somali. Salamu Calaykum and Ramadan Karim.

General Duke I don't know what kind of language you speak bro, but I said some regions of SSC, however majority of SSC, the elections did in fact taken place. speak about all you want about how diverse the Somalis combine are, because if they can't get along and they hate each other more than they hate the galo, what does that tell you. Somaliland has already shown it's not a tribal based government, take the president as an example and the speaker of the parliament Qaybe. One of them is from far west of Somaliland and the far east. Which one of you who claims to be for Somaliweyne would appoint someone from least numerous tribe into a higher postions, I hear no one. Brothers please, I demand for more action and less talking. As for Camel milk that it's good our neighbors of Puntland are succeeding and living peacefully,I respect that and I praise them for their accomplishment, continue the good work. however, Puntland is not ahead of Somaliland. Hargiesa has recently being voted for the safest city in Africa, there is still some fights that break out in the major city of Galkacayo. However, that is no where compare to the south. But don't bad mouth the south bro, they are your brothers too. Wish them for good self governance. Hats off to Puntland for what they have accomplished, I respect them. To somaliland, well you know how I feel about them, home sweet home. Salamu calaykum.

Asalamu calaykum my dear brothers and sisters everywhere and Ramadan karim. To my dear brother Somaal. Brother, although I have a lot of things that you have said about me that aren't necassary true, I however choose from this day forth not to respond to them to the way I have responded to them in the past. I have decided that it's not my best interests to offend you if you felt offended. After all we are all Somalis and we should all be standing on the same side of the aisle, and not taking sides. It's time for you and I to have good and educational conversations, and stop accusing each other. You have said a lot about me and I have had my share of blaming you and many others. I want to drop all the things that I have said about my somali brothers everywhere although I thought I just said what I thought was the right thing to say. Eventhough everything I said wasn't the right thing to say, I am sure everyone who is human makes and expresses his/her views and that includes you. There might have been things that I don't want to recall that you have said that I thought were out of line but that is not my focus at the moment. I was just trying to defend my side of the story as well as you were also. I am calling you and other Somalis in this forum to wake up for themselves and for their country. It's Ramadan and it's not time to be accusing each other. It's time to worship Allah, the greatest and ask for his forgivness if you have done some wrong things, I have already gave up my argument and I want to give up the extreme political views, because they won't do any greater benefits for me, I am asking all the other brothers to do the same. I am not saying let us give politics but I am just saying that we can have good clean conversations and disagreements but let's not take them to the extreme. I am your fellow somali and Muslim brother as well as a close brother whom you share a land and living with. There isn't night in which I don't think about my country Somalia/Somaliland and its people. I think about how to improve them and help them.I hope Allah will someday make me able and fully capable to changing their lives. I hope you are on the same page with me brother as well as well as all Somalis everywhere. I believe there is no time for partism at this point, we all have the same problem, we should instead be focusing on how to solve them . I feel somali people have never enjoyed peace and togetherness. Somali people are lacking leadership and good politicians who are honest and willing to govern the country by the rule of Allah; the Quran and sunnah of our beloved prophet scw.I am hoping to free our Somali people in Western Somalia from the kafirs of Ethiopians. Brother Soomal, it will not get us anywhere if you accuse me and I accuse you back all day,it's waste of time and waste of breath, so put your hands together and let us make Duca for our country and people. If you think I am changing my mind about Somaliland, I am not but however, I have left the situation in somalia for Allah to decide what is good for our somali people everywhere whether they should stay seperate or together. and there is no better judge then Allah so please also leave your trust to Allah to decide for what is good for us. I came to conclusion that it's just cylcle of accusations to accuse each other and we can't move forward, so you as well other brothers have to come together and let us have conversations and exchange of ideas to improve our land and our people. I apologize to you somaal and I don't expect an apology back from you but understanding and brotherhood between you and I especially. Everyone else who is willing to come together and work their differences out are also welcome. Salamu calaykum and Ramadan karim

no elections in SOOL, SANAAG, CAYN.. British Somaliland ???
RedSea replied to General Duke's topic in Politics
Asalamu Calaykum, General duke and Soomal,i believe you guys are the most ignorant two in the world. You are still diging the clan mess. The world has moved on, there are elections, people vote and that how they get their points across, they don't take a gun or yell tribal name aloud calling for help. The only peoples that still talk about clan are native Americans and Somalis, they are lowest based humans and among the poorest in the world and I am sorry to be affliated from them. Coming to the topic at hand, does it really hurt to just vote if it's going to bring something or anything or if you think that Puntland has better deal for the people of ssc then consider reading the articles on WidhWidh online based in Las Anod, they explain that puntland has brought nothing I mean nothing but lack of safety, lack of education, and no water supply since their occupy and the only reason that they are still there is because tribal nonsense. Please General Duke and Soomal and all of the ciyaalo kudaaf, you need to deal with the facts and stop defending everything, because you come under same tribal dome. Grow up, if you want to change something about the situation of the people of SSC, then go home and do so. I urge to experience their experience and their situations then make comments regarding the people of those regions of Somaliland. -
First of all Salamu calaykum, You could probably sense the difficulty that is ahead of me in responding to what you have scripted. Since everything you said is not worth quoting, let me just respond to your most arogant comment, which you said " I was against OUr prophet" (scw). Those kind of comments are dangerous and they are some thing you should never play around with. If you believe in our Prophet scw, then should follow and practice what he preached to you through his tradition or hadith. You should never and never say to someone who saying and reciting that there is no god worthy of Worship except Allah; a believer and a Muslim that he/she doesn't believe what the Prophet scw said. That is a great example of your mentallity and your shadow claims that you love all Somalis and you are for Somaliweyne. While you wish that the people, the Somali people of Somaliland disappear off the phase of the earth. You personally do not know me and I probably go to the Masjid and love my Somali brothers more than you do, except I am honest and you are not. Secondly, since when did I say that Somaliland wanted a bloodshed, I said it's indeed Puntland who is waging war and would bring destruction to the people of Eastern Somaliland. If Somaliland wanted a bloodshed then only Allah, the powerful one would have denied them that not two futureless teenagers that claim to be Dervishes. In addition, Soomal, I am not suffering any clan sickness but may be you are since you are talking about it so much. I recently got to know what my actual tribe name is and I still don't know much about them. However, I don't like to see the people of your kind who bad mouth someone who is on the right track. If you would like to say something to critize someone, why don't you crictize your war lord president, the war lords in Moqdisho and elsewhere. Moreover, where is this Somaliweyne you are boosting about, because I really don't like someone who makes false claims. Get up and go bring the Somali people together and then may be we can take you as an example and stop the utter nonsense that you are spiting from your living room. If you are rightous Muslim why don't you encourage someone who is enjoying peace and postperity. It doesn't matter how many separate countries somalia divides into, the important thing is that they are at peace. I am sorry if you can't see that. You seem to be having problems giving Somaliland any credit for what they have accomplished and rather know how to be negative. Anyone and everyone who brings a peace to Somali village should be respected and I am sorry if you can't see that, because only someone who believes and wants something good for somali people would have seen that. Come out of the darkness and reveal your true identity, becasue Allah knows what you are. After all, you are taking hadith as an example and calling me someone who doesnt' beleive the word of the Prophet scw. At same time praising Siyad Barre, so I want you to hear me loud and clear, Siyad Barrre was a kafir, because he said the Quran was wrong which equeals that Allah was wrong. Anyone who believes in Siyad Barre is also with him and is a Kafir too. Soomaal, afka ayuunbaad ka nooshey, kac orodoo wax u qabo umada soomaliyeed hadi aad wax tahay. I am praising a people who have accomplished so much and I help Somaliland as much as I can. I am active, your points are baseless, and they reveal who is the clanish minded of the two of us. If Somaliland enjoys the peace that is in today, and the rest of Somalia becomes peaceful under a believing Muslim and I am not definately talking about war lord Abdullahi yusuf, then we can have open conversations. But anything before that, I just consider you someone who is sleeping from his responsiblities. Finally, Beduine, I really don't understand what your point is, ha ila shakaysan, ciyaalka lama shakaysto anigu sxb, sidaan hore kugu shegay. Rudy, I believe that all Somali people should enjoy peace whatever they are in one country or not, so what do you believe in, how to be rude and that .50 cent fat rabber. Make sense, or go do something worth the time. Dhan xiir kaaga oo kale oo aduun war u hayn lama shakaysto isna. Yonis I don't understand what you mean, but I am assuming that you are one of those confused Somalis who have no idea about anything, arrogance is the better word that is suitable to you, go read the Quran or something or shaaha babi sxb.

Thanks my dear brother and trusted moderator, It's true and I have already been doing the ducaa for my poeple living in all regions of the former Somali republic. I have done that and I will continue to do so in the future. cid imay diidin, waayo sababtaan usoo dhajiyay waxay ahaydba in aan xasuusiyo umada Somaliyeed dhamaanteed in ay dadkooda uduceeyaan. Thanks again for you warm welcome it means alot to me.

Asalamu Calaykum, Fellow nomads and my fellow Somalis in which we share name but not a country. I advice you to stop posting this criminals and blood sucking warlords who only think about and know how to suck innocent people's blood. Do you think, they gather in Balcad to solve the problems in Somalia. Also, don't get excited to those of you who support the so called president of TNG. He is a blood sucking vampire himself. He is low level human being that has gone astray. He is no leader nor does he has the abilitity to lead a nation. He doesn't understand the basics of building a nation. His first steps were to collect arms to attack Moqdisho which he has been unable to do so. His time is up,because how old is he? 80s or 90s or something like that. He is wearing diapers and cannot tell right from wrong or was he always like that. Here you are quoting him like he is going to bring solutions to Somalia's long existed problems. Go and look for some one else that can be trusted or at least voted into office by the people, because since when did we see a president who gets that job without the approval of his people. He was elected into office by bunch of his fellow warlords contesting for power. They didn't get what they wanted so now they are back to their old ways, and he is back to what he is being known to; fire starter. Don't waste your time on such hopeless people go read the Quran or get ready for Ramadan or something, because there is no hope for this people.

Salamu Calaykum, To those of you who have been paying close attention to Somaliland's Parlimentry elections, I have a little update for you. As it stands currently, Kulmiye is leading the way followed by Udub then Ucid. Many regions from Sanag, saxil,Toghdeer and Hargeisa have been so far being counted and led by the candidates of Kulmiye Party. Udub and Ucid are very close with Udub getting second most votes and Ucid not far behind only about hundreds of votes behind Udub. Just to remind you, it's still not over yet and Ucid could make late charge in the votings in Sanag and Togdher regions of the country. So don't just count out Ucid yet, ciyaari waa galin danbe. Stay tuned for the latest and I will report anything that I hear and post it right here on SOL. Thanks again and your comments are highly appriciated.
-
BADUINE,sxb, it's better for you to remain silent, because the people of your caliber do not deserve to have mouth to run. Don't spit out utter nonsense, because it will be posted and actually read by the people. Please make sense and stop lying, stop pretending to be in Las Anod when you are drinking cup of coffee sitting comfortably in your living room and stationed infront of the computer in your trunks. You have no idea the situation in which those honarable Somalilanders are going through. Just because you are afiliated from that tribe doesn't make you their spokesperson, they have representatives from that they elected to speak for them and your comments stand for nothing my brother. Don't bother to make any comments until you are sure to make sense my friend, or I won't waste my breath and my time on non subjective comments. Peace.
-
Camel Milk, You said all Africa is not in the 21st century. Those are the things that drive nuts sometimes. There is no excuse for Africa not to be with the World. If you want rest of Somalia to remain behind, then I am not with you with that one, Somaliland chooses to go ahead into the future God bless Somaliland
-
Brother Somaal, I have never wished my country and people to be in turmoil, but however I can't stand an ignorant one who after 15 years of hardship in Somalia still standing on the bases of what has broke Somalia apart. It's not Somaliland;s fault for its breakway. Somaliland happened as a result of your broken promise. Somalis from the north of Former Somali republic were among the most patriotic and supportive for their country more than anyone. They were all supportive of their government and its actions. It was you, the people who until today considered Afweeyne, a somali hero, who refused your somali brothers their right to share their country's responsiblilties. And please stop acting like you actually believe and practice the hadith you mentioned, those holy words of the prophet will curse you if mentioned them without any enternal believe. I am not complaining about anything that happened in the past. I have nothing to complian about, becasue thank Allah my country of Somaliland is at peace and I don't need your approval to see that. SSC regions are all in Somaliland the only reason Puntland is puting claims to them is becasue of clan affiliation with the people in those regions and that shows you how low level they are; still in the mess of clan after 15 years of bloody civil wars. Please I beg you to not say something I haven't said. I have no hatred towards any Somali, I like the Somalis who use their heads and all my Somali friends are all from the regions you mentioned. So please brother stop hating yourself, it's obivous enough to see your hatred. finally, wouldn't you rather see ballot boxes rather than bloodshed?. Puntland wants bloodshed, because the people who will die in there are not their people and Somaliland wants peace and free elections. So brother it's your choice if you want to set yourself back and stay clan minded or march into the future with Somaliland.
-
Brother, you seem to be familiar. You are one of those brothers who preach what they don't practice. I didn't mean that the elections haven't taken place in all the regions you named but rather the farthest to East close to Puntland are the places the ballot haven't reached. The elections have taken place all but few places counties in sanag. Elections have taken place in Cayn except Buhoodle and Las Anod in which the Puntland Militia are located. Adhi Cadeeye, Yogoori and other places, the elections have been just fine. You seem to misinterpet my words, there were only few places that elections haven't taken place and they are the places we don't to start war, those place that didn't experience the elections, well it's something that they are missing. The other point you made about the Somalis are one; I am asking, why can't you show that when you people are preaching hatred and clanish views in Las Anod calling for war against not Somalidiid but rather such and such tribe. stop acting like you like Somalis, when you are just another one of those clan minded people. As long as people like you exist, somalia will not be together nor will it be peaceful. And About your comments of bringing elections boxes to Hargeisa, I say to you then bring them, that is if you have something better than what we have; free elections, peace and posperity. Start living up to the reality brother, the whole continents' borders are made up by infidels. If you're so rightous and hate infidels why are you here in their country?
-
Brother Olol thanks for the post. I am surprise you still have hope in Somali people to change their attitude towards each other and their country. However bear in mind that Somalia has been in civil war for the past 14 or so, and if that couldn't open eyes then I don't what will. Stop wasting your breath and pray for Allah to Open their eyes for them. Thanks sxb. for the post
-
ASALMU CALAYKUM, No the elections haven't been decided yet but I am hoping that Ucid party, the party of welfare and justice will win. I think Ucid is way ahead of Kulmiye and Udub and has better plans and visions for the country. Udub is already out of my picture and I still have some question marks about Kulmiye. I am saying this after I have compared all three parties fairly with open mind. I have seen what everyone of them had to offer and by far Ucid and Faysal C. Waraabe are the party to be. I want and hope that Ucid wins and later Faysal C. warabe becomes the president,he is educated man and very religious man too. He realizes the responsibility of being a leader of a nation. on the other Hand if Ucid doesn't win, it's still ok and they must work together to improve the nation. I promise myself as a Ucid supporter to support and respect all parties, because they are rightfully elected by the honorable Somaliland people. This topic is open to all opinions and peoples except for the narrow minded ones. feel free to post your opinions and predictions.
-
Brother you haven't been paying attention to the things happening around you, so let me do the homework for you and enlighten you about the current events in that side of the former Somali republic. first to answer your question, what I meant Puntland's idiotic views is all clear and well understood unless you are blind folding yourself. Puntland has been waging clan warfares against Somaliland since the democratic elections have kicked off. calling tribes to stand together against what they see as threat to greater Somalia. We all know anyone in this time in Africa who holds free elections is no threat to anything but should rather be praised and rewarded for their doings. so please brother if you meant you reply in negative way take that, if not take this as an enlightment. May God bless Somaliland and rest of Somalis who respect somaliland as a nation of its own.
-
asalamu calaykum, It's a great time to worship Allah and ask him for forgiveness from your troubles. But it's also a great oppurtunity for every Somali to ask Allah and pray for his/her country. most Somalis are still in turmoil and hoping for a leader and I am not including Abdulahi Yusuf, because he is a war lord, not a leader, Warlords are what Somalis need to get rid of; not to place them as a leaders, although no one but warlords have chosen him. so please don't leave this Ramadan wasted wake up in the middle of the night, and pray for your countr abd people as well as yourself.
-
Brother, you haven't been probably paying attention to the events happening around you everday,so let enlighten you. In the past 3 years Puntland has been making tribal campaing to undermine the peace and stability of somaliland. Puntland proved incopable of doing a thing to Somaliland, so they decided to put claims to sool regions of Somaliland sice they are from the same clan family. this foolish acts of Puntland will only undermine the future of eastern Somalilander. Puntland is no help to sool just visit the websites from Las Anod, they clearly state that Puntland contributed anything it's take over of Las Anod. That is what I mean idiotic, and indeed it's crazyness and arrogance.
-
salamu calaykum, some of you might ask why excatly I am saying these and you may still don't realize the reason the problems are still facing Somalia. The fact of the matter is that most of somalis have deep hatred towards each other. They act nice and sadened by problems facing Somalia yet when they get together, they are totally different. Anyone who spends the day with particullarly southern Somalis will find out why somalia is stillwhere it's today. After years of war and destruction, most of Somalis haven't learned anything from it. They still continue to fight with their tangues and if possible their hands. They wouldn't like to see others succeed. let us take Somaliland as an example; I heard few non somaliland citizens who say good things about Somaliland. The rest are all negative and biase towards the succes of Somaliland. They preach Somaliweyn on the streets and yet they can't bring two boys from two tribes together. if there were love any love between somalis then you would have a point of calling Somaliland somalidiid, but as long as the rest of somalia is in turmoil, and hatred is still the factor in somali households , it would be absoletly rediculous to point the fingure at Somaliland for deciding to shut their ears from their backward bretherns. Somaliland chooses to move forward with the world and nothing but positive should be said about that. If anybody is refusing anything, it's then Somalia for being nabadiid. They should be taking Somaliland as an example and strive towards peace and stability in their regions. So if you are one of those people, please stop arrogant, wake and update yourself.
-
It's sad and at the same time disappointing that Somaliland elections haven't taken place in some regions in Eastern Somaliland. The reason is becasue of Puntland playing clanish card games. Hitting the diverse Somaliland community against each other, calling them Somalidiid. I can assure you that it's not the best interest for the few eastern somalilanders who are supporting Puntland's idiotic views, they will never reach anywhere and will always stay behind. after all we are in the 21st century.
-
Wind talker, although I hate to ruin the moment, you have to realized how much hardwork the somaliland people have put towards these elections, and it's sad for you not to show your excitement. instead "good luck" is what you give. You should be praising these people and showing the happiness that it deserves. Kulmiye isn't the only one that make sense, they all make sense, however they have different plans for the country. Respect each in their own way and utter such low based comments. after all I am Ucid supporter all the way and would be happy as long as there is peacefull elections occur.
