Assalamu Calaykum Brother Nabadshe it's better for us to come to conclusions that are productive and not go in full 360 degrees that has no way out. For the sake of being two brotherly people that are Muslims and at the same time came from same country as well as same region, and I might even add same city to have positive exchange of ideas. First I would like to advise on one thing not just because we came from same area but as your Muslim brother. In your earlier post and responses you have posted somethings that really bothered me such as the one you said if the other Somalis had Nucs, they would use it against you and I. To me that is terrible thing to say or even to have in your mind. Those kind of comments aren't really good for your mind and personallity. You have to uderstand one thing brother, that only a disgraceful Somali would ever attempt such violence if he were able to. It's absulately wrong for you to judge the actions of Siyad Barre's regime on those who hailed from his tribe. Every individual will be judged by Allah based on their actions that includes you and I. Some individuals from our tribe have also commited crimes against other Somalis. For example, do you recall, Col. Axmed Mire, Ibrahim Dhagaweyne Gen.Qalinle and so on. They were among the ones that Siyad Barre sent to Eastern Somalia during the uprise of the SSDF. These were the men in charge of the brutal oppresion commited. Just to mention little bit about that event. The soldiers under the command of Col.Axmed Mire and Col.Ibrahim Dhagaweyne killed many innocent civilians, 50,000 sheep,cattles, and camels, poisened the wells and raped the women. I am not really making all this up, it was real event that occured in Eastern Somalia before the oppresion of the Northwest. Yet nobody judges you and I for the crimes commited by those men, because we are different individuals and everyone will be judge according with their actions. In addition, brother Nabadshe if you honestly without discriminating against anyone look back our history you will find out that Somalis have always commited crimes against each other and not a single group of Somali can say that they have never suffered nor have caused saffurings themselves. All Somalis share these problems, so the best way to defeat these problems is to leave them behind and try to move forward knowing that everyone suffered under the Siyad Barre regime. Moreover, you must know that every country in the world have been through similar situations if not worse. Just considered the U.S, during the civil war in which the North and the South were at war. There would 20,000 casulties at times in a single battle. That is even worse, yet today they are considered the most advanced country in the world. You might be surprised when you hear that people living the same apartment building have came from all over the world yet they considered themselves proud Americans. On the other hand, we Somalis came from family, it's proven history that all Somlis decended from one man nicknamed Caano Soomaal.On top of that we have same color, same language (different dialects), and most importantly same religion. One would be amazed to know that Somalis hate each other even after all the similarities they have. Finally I urge you as your dear brother from the Northwest to not judge people as a whole nor judge them on individual action. Somali is who you are and Somalia is your country after all Somaliland, Puntland and Southern regions all come up to be one nation that desparately seeking for leadership. Try finding solutions that would work for all Somalis and if you are able,for all Muslims, that is your duty as a Muslim and as Somali. Salamu Calaykum, Yes as matter of fact I do have problems on where you call home, in this case Nairobi. Just saying its name makes me throw up. It's the dirtiest place on the planet. Somalia has an excuse for being messy but a country like Kenya that has had full working central government and yet its people are suffering from Aids and with streets that are unpaved, and I might add water sewers that get loose and dump unknown liquid on the streets. Yaq, discusting, I have stayed there for about 8 months and I didn't experience a single positive day except that I had to cover my face so the dirty won't get into my eyes. What a shame for someone who hails from great race and wonderful country like Somalia to be calling a foreing country home. salamu Calaykum, Suldaanka himself has done nothing to be disagreed upon. He knows as well as you do that Marids isn't paradise but one on earth, which totally has different meaning. Guys note he said heaven on earth which means when compared with other areas on this planet it can be considered well just that. Salamu Calaykum, Islam is a religion of peace and love. It's the only religion that will be accepted by Allah in the hereafter thus the only true religion on the planet. It's the way of life in both political and social life. So if by any means the infidels in dirtywood want the United States as well as other non christian countries such as Isreal to live peacefully and get respect from the Muslims, then the solutions aren't a simple research about what makes as laugh for we are not fools like them who just laugh over the smallest of things. However, what would make a Muslim individual happy and satisfied is to be granted his/her right to have say in his country and rule accordingly with their set of law; Islam. It is impossible to say as the west believes that I want to spread the rule of democracy which apperantly is man made and has as you would expect many errors that need to be updated as time passes by. Whereas the Islamic law is set by Allah and stands as the way it was made thousands of years ago and will stand the same until the end of the universe. Finally, I would say if the western countries as well as other areas want to enjoy peacefull means in their little short life, they must not intervene with Muslims and must not conquer their countries and then expect them to like them and welcome them with kisses, that cannot happen. They haven't done that so as a result, the Muslims have woken up and trying to gain their rights back. At first, I responded because I wanted to check out what you were talking about and how you missed home. When I open the thread I found a language that I couldn't understand at all and I am sure I didn't see the name of Somalia in there, it was just bala bala bala and not a single word that even resembles Somali could be seen in there. First of all some of you, although I don't want to point fingures said that there are whole regions occupy IN Kenya and in Ethiopia and counted those regions as part of Kenya and Ethiopia. Forexample, the so called NFD has actually nothing to do with Kenya. The English unrightfully gave away our land to Kenyans and large portion of Western Somalia to Ethiopians as reserve area. If these places are the places you are making part of other countries and calling anyone who lives there to be Ethiopians or Kenyans, then I don't except it one bit for both of those regions were wrongly taken away from Somalis just to weaken us. So please brothers and sisters don't you dare ever and call this places part of Kenya or Ethiopia but part of our land;somalia. The soil and the people are proof of that. Although this may do some small benefits to Somalilanders yet I could want no more and expect no more from dirty filty infidel who murdered innocent Somalis including the latest one in Qalbitahare. They killed over 30 Somalis yesterday who were demonstrating over the Ethiopian harrassment. They are probably going to use those ports to inport weapons who later on will be used against you and I.
