  1. I will also 'celebrate' the 26th of June for our independence from Britain, and July 1st not because of 'union' but because Southern Somalia's gaining independence from Italy.

That was his chance of siding against the invaders, infidels, but rather was on the wrong side, and even was quoted for saying he would even use the help of the Jewish to get his ways against his fellow Somalis who were struggling against the Xabashi invaders . Maanta ayey heshay isna. mid mid udhinta tuugyey. Well, tough col. Hiiraale, you really blew it.
  4. Mansa Munsa, AsI told many others here, google it brother. The events in London are most importantly being held not just for party purpose but as fundraising event as well. So do little background research on that, you know intaynaan dibnaha kala qaadin(: no pun intended laakin.
  5. Emperor, Abdi Xaafid, You are NOT invited, so don't bother to reply to this thread. Save your sentiments for later when you will really need it. BTW..mr. Emperor, no question will be answer concerning this day for people of your kind, if you want to know the answer, you may google it. Jimce wanaagsan though. To Somalilanders happy May the 18th on this special Islamic day of Friday to you all.
  6. Duke you coming this year, a chance to get together perhaps?
  7. Originally posted by me: Somalilander is no identity. It just means the land of the Somalis. But describe to me what makes this Somaliland identity of yours other then British colonization. -edit: Jacaylbaro waa lagu madax furtay. Dude, Somaliland= the Land of Somalis. If it was British Somaliland still then you would have a point, however it's only Somaliland, simply meaning the land of Somalis, resided, own, operated by Somalis only, thus it's their land. So by all means of the term identity, Somaliland, the land of Somalis does fit one's identity, if you don't want to be known as Somalilanders, that is fine with us, again your voice is insiginficant.
  8. Those tanks need to be recycled somewhere, they leave terrible sight or make us look like we are still in the era of war against the Barre regime. Planting a tree in that spot would look nicer than say a Russian made T54 blown up by SNM RPG years ago... BTW....why are you expecting mr. me to salute Somaliland. Whether he does it or not, it doesn't make any difference. His vote is insignificant.
  9. HEY, North, I have to ask for WHAT? lol...just kidding....
  10. ^SOO MAAL, Big up to you brother. Secondly, the flag isn't the right color, the previous flag which you had as your avator was. Looking forward to June 26th also Insha Allah.
  11. most of those who left their jobs have found new jobs in another meat facility...they won it seems and the company is in choas. As for peacenow, he/she is NOT Muslim, so what the fuzz all about here.
  12. Emperor maxaa tugu dhacay? majeclid in aad gabdho Indian ah guursato? Dont' forget YOU would be paid. Hey Hey ms. Sheherazade, Kaptan kaluun ma ninkii madax libaax badeedka ku watay miyaa? Cajiib, good to know that you dig raga noocaas ah.
  13. salamu calaykum marka hore, marka xigta , I would like to take a moment to shout out to all my fellow Somalilanders across the globe and say happy 18th of May to you all. Stealth says, have fun, but not too much fun. Marka sii xigta, I would like to wish our bretherens in Southern Somalia who are experiencing great amount of difficulty my condolences and wish them the best. May Allah deliver peace to you. Insha Allahu tacalaa. aamiin. Oh almost forgot Xanthus ....sorry. Here in Minnesota, there will be mighty celebrations even greater than the years past, though I didn't attend the previous ones, but this year I am going. Roobleh, Sure bro, I will post pictures just for you of how things went down here. I will be the special correspondent from Minnesota, USA. stay tuned.
  14. ^blah blah, read my previous posts. no one is dividing anyone. If people can't live under one admin, or don't want the same flag to be raised on the poles near them, then that doesn't mean division. your advice is without substance, you can't advice anyone mr. me, go do what you preach, no advice taken. Sorry brotha. Though I could careless of how you twist it or turn it, fact remains fact. With allied somali nations, who have the same objective, same enemy to combat, along with economic relations etc....can still accomplish alot, I mean alot more than the last dictatorship regime which we were united under had done. As for this quote below, I just have to say I find it 'funny'. We can do all this in a more effective way in a democratic, free, fair and just Somali state, where the rights of all sections of the Somali society are guaranteed. Why shouldn't we work towards that goal, instead of taking half measures that are actually getting us further away from the solution? All that and more can be done by Somaliland, instead of democracy though, I would love to see the Islamic sharica implemented in these areas...that is the only change I would make. But hey I know it's hard for you to believe that Somaliland would be able to do 'rightous' things, just because in your own little nutshel world or within your nightmarish dreams, you see Somaliland as ghost town where no good ever comes up or where the sun never seems to brighten the day. Sorry sir.
  15. ^Like I said. Buuba company's advertisement goes something like this: 'biib biib, the buubaa company, proudly serving no one but our belies'.lol
  16. Originally posted by Bokero: I would have wished, to see the ppl of Somaliland, contribute in bring peace in the South.. Dear Bokero, I do agree to that. But you might be suprise to find out how much money that has been raised and sent over to Muqdisho to asist the needy families who have fled the wars. Secondly, I am proud to anounce that my own relatives back home have recieved, housed as many Southern Somalis who had fled and are now living peacefully in Hargeysa, I know many other families in Hargeysa, Burco are doing the same. Though not noticed, the people have done great job, the part that is missing is the government, and you know that SL admin. isn't that great right now. Insha Allah with better leader, SL will be able to get involved politically in the problems to its south.
  17. SYL legacy is ruined ya'll. May Allah bless those who died among them, they did a great job.
  18. fariin? never heard of it. It's called bareeg.lol
  19. Dhalasho wacan...go ahead, blow the candles(:. A question: How many "birthdays" does one have?
  20. Originally posted by Northerner: NOTE: Somalinimo should be practiced before it is preached in order to be taken seriously. Silaanyo has spoken out and Hadraawi is an active advocate for peace and unity both at the grand old ages of 70+. Seems as though my adeerayaal are practicing more Somalinimo than yours ayman to that brotha! What Hadraawi and many of my adeeros are doing is noble saaxib mr. Sophist, you simply dismissed it to be poisonious. That is what I call hadal bilaa macni.
  21. Soo maal, Saaxib, aniga position kayga sifiican ayaad utaqaan. Sidii aad utaqaanay uun weeye. Taan kahadlayaa waxay weeye that we shouldn't make things personal. Aaliyah thinks I am rude and somethings to that effect, that is not cool bro. ^^my two cents of calalcal. lol Emperor, It's May 18th, that is why I have the flag up bro...lasoco hada. mr. me, (saved you for last). Saaxib, the Somaliland leadership needs to change, Riyale needs to go, a better Muslim, leader who is working for the mere interests of the people not EThiopia is something I hope to see. For people to get along, live together, being happy is something we all want, it's God given right in that sense. I am saying and my position is whether we are under two different flags or Presidents we can STILL have one objective, we can have one interest, we can help each other against the enemey of both of you and I. This is union in different perspective. We can be allies against those who try to harm any somali anywhere. I know that EThiopia doesn't care whether we( you and I) are from Hargeysa as oppose to the ones in Xamar or else where, I know that, and I am fully aware.
  22. ^when did they come? Here is an honest question: what happened to Kaluun and Sifir?
  23. Mr. Dukow, horta don't get mad, get glad, you are muslim(: Secondly, Warlord Mohamed Dheere made Jawhar famous or he made himself famous? which one is it? he had Isbaaro in Jawhar to loot people' properties, do you really think he was distrubuting food and water down there? I think not The man is a warlord. All that being said, the problem isn't just him nor is it your adeero ina Yey. The root problem is why though bring foreign armies to kill me, to rape me and to force me out of my house ? That is the problem. If Ethiopians never showed up, Ina Yey would be ruling perhaps today though he is a warlord , and people would have no problem with him.
  24. ^^^Let the people decide duke in time of peace, they did indeed forgiven the likes of Gen. Morgan, col. Cumar Jess and were both in Xamar when the UIC was in control of Xamar. But now, how can poeple forgive when they have been shelled, killed, raped, looted, etc.. and forced to flee. Riyale should be held acountable for what he did, I don't believe that he should be forgiven until crimes which he had done are brought to him in court of law. Bottom line is Mohamed dheere is installed by the TFG which gets help from the Xabashis, Riyale on the other hand is installed by the poeple themselves on their own choice, good or bad, that is their choice, so now will you let the poeple of Muqdisho decide. Let me take a gues, the first thing they would decide is full withdrawal of the Ethiopians murderers.
