Likewise, those defending him should realise by doing so they are affiliating their 'noble' cause to his thinking, so beware. That is pretty much it. But no one is defending him really . These folks are looking for every oppurtunity to critise the whole region, believe me I am pretty sure in Qayladu orgiga ka wayntay . As far as I am concern here, I am irritating some folks here myself which I am having fun doing so . I just like to see them cry to me as though I am Faysal Cali warab'e grand dady. waaheen, Are we talking about Faysal Cali Warabe's comments or the article. This article is just hightlighting what he siad, plus buun buunis kale. So in order to comment on this, I just need to know what Faysal said not what the author is saying, after all the topic is about Faysal Cali Warabe's sayings isn't it? mr. me ooh really. When did my opinion mattered to you. I thought I was good old seccesionist whose words had no substance. BTW....if Faysal comments had any pychological effects on you peeps, I would suggest you see Dr. Phil ASAP> Xaruuri I am shameful character eh? Well, I am not really concern of what you think of me. Mudane Siilaanyo oo kulan balaadhan la yeeshay beesha galbeedka Burco
RedSea replied to Jacaylbaro's topic in Politics
lol@ North. Hey peeps what is this cheap jabs at Siilaanyo, dang it. JC, for your beloved Udub, you mention about the Vc. President. He is suufi koofiyad bacle isn't he? not suited for that position at all. Jacaylow, Though I disagree with Sharmarkee' assertion that Siilanyo is a warlord, but I have to say I can see slightly bit where he is coming from. Which is actually that marya alool and their doings against the Southern/North Eastern Hargeysa and Western Burco clans during the mid 90s civil wars, where Silaanyo is accused of taking some parts. We should forget about that though dear Sharmarkee, life goes on. If we weren't looking ahead, we would not have peace today. Let us proceed gentelmen. -
Thanks. I wonder if she is still alive?

It doesn't matter what you are saaxib. Personally I dont care if I am somali or not, in fact I am not even proud of what I am. I am not proud of anything. I am happy to be Muslim though, that is pretty much it. BTw...you are providing too much details on how your parents/grandparents looked like....we dont' really need to know it sir.
-
I don't know what to say. Because somalis look very different from each other. The looks varies from one person to the other. We don't look the same. However what makes one a somali is their custom, the food, the enviroment which we grew up that has shaped us to behave in certain way, that is what makes us somalis, not looks I think. But still we would be considered black regardless, just like mixed African Americans are considered black and yes we are. BTW...I hope you are not saying we are better looking than the rest of other Africans therefore we may not be 'black'.

Okay this is great oppurtunity here. Grant Do you by a chance know Jeana Da'heam (not sure if I spelled last name correct) she was peace corps volunteer during at that same times. She use to teach in what was little remote town called Arabsiyo in the Gabiley district. Jeana Ha'deam tought there for some time, she even wrote fact/fictional stories about her experience. The book is titled, The last camel stories. Thanks in advance. BTW...welcome to SOL friend.

If it has blood stains on it, the guy gets well round of respect for laying with virgin. Something like that.

P Okay I will try to stay away from lions. But then there aren't any left you know. They are all gone. The biggest danger in the wilderness are hyenass, these I can kick their butt...or tail rather. Roobleh yare, You want pictures from Shiekh city, sure you got it buddy Insha Allah. If you can't wait for mind, Jacaylow is here to show them to you. He is already there, not Shiekh but the same area. Zu , I love you too boy. Hugz and kisses your way saaxib (am saying that, because I don't want in aad i cawrido oo diyaaradu ila gadoonto).

Mudane Siilaanyo oo kulan balaadhan la yeeshay beesha galbeedka Burco
RedSea replied to Jacaylbaro's topic in Politics
Roobleh, Firstly you need to understand that the people didn't all of sudden like Riyaale Kahin to begin with. But the people liked the party which he belonged to. Let us put all this clan talk aside now and discuss how things went and will go down Insha Allah. For Riyaale Kahin, he belonged into the most popular party in Somaliland at the time, the Udub party. Marxuum Igal gave it that popularity, and all Riyaale had to do was slide into position when the Marxuun past away. During the reelection, well some people as you said had some problems with Silaanyo and his role in the mid 90s civil wars in Burco, so they leaned more towards the 'other' guy, Riyaale in this sense. He didn't win because he showed good leadership quality or was likeable, but people weren't ready for controversial Siilaanyo as of yet. Today as it stands, Udub isn't nearly as popular as it use to be and quite franky people have seen what Riyaale is made of, a passive no doer. They demand bit more charismatic leader, and I think there is huge chance of as seeing Siilaanyo victorius in next year's elections. The past is behind us now, if Silaanyo wasn't voted because of his civil controversy then heck Riyaale was NSS Berbera based branch leader. He got elected...anyhow the past is the past, the present and future is what matters the most, who will lead Somaliland now is huge task, Riyaale did so so of a job and most party shaky, now Somaliland needs someone to take it to second level. Throw all the SNM days out of the window, that is history, and Silaanyo shall not campaign, because 'he is mujaahid' heck that is tired old line. Yeah yeah we know you were an SNM chairman, but what have you done for me lately is the question in every Lander's mind...Silaanyo needs to compaign of what he will do for this young nation. Faysal Cali waraabe is too extreme and will break our fragile peace, therefore no vote for him, Riyaale...been there, seen it. I personally would love to see others like ina Jirde, prof. Meygaag Samatar and Cumar Carte Ghalib here, but as it stand we have three option, Udub, Ucid and Kulmiye, my vote is to Kulmiye rest assured. Edit: man you Udub fans are caught up too much into 'kanaa siyaasi fiican ah etc...I am thinking who will fix the roads, who will lead with example. Yes peace, that we have had for quite while now, we are getting tired of having peace as the only thing in our profile. We need to move up dee, we need to elevete into more of contender of nationhood. You don't do that while your capital doesn't have run way lights at the airports or streets are still dusty or cracked...who will step up, Riyaale aint gonna contract anything. -
Northerner, ninkan mr. me anaa iga wala ogaaday sheekadiisa. He is not obsess with Somaliland, he fears the shodows of even his hometown boys. I cracked little joke of how I would beat him up if he ever showed in Hargeysa, he is going around saying he has been threatened!!! lool...he once asked if I have a gun and if I ever killed anyone with it. loool...no kidding. Just recently when Faysal Cali Warbe, the iska hadle of Somaliland made remarks of how to deal with the situation in Sool and Sanaag, some members here including mr. me thought the world must stop him now and are calling for human righs orginazations...lol...ala maxay Somaliland dad halkan joogaa ka xaaraan. Acuudu Bilaah.. Fear God people not other humans.

Ala fulaysanaa. The writer and those who actually all of sudden can't fall sleep because Ina Cali Warabe' comments are simply fulay. A man who has zero chances of wining any leadership in Somaliland's comments is what they are going bananas over....keep crying over nothing. So when a man says something and later on comes back saying that is not what he meant, does that draw human right organizations to come about...this is pure joke....human right orginzation kuye. Waa isdaji, nin rag ahna iska dhig. -
lol@Kashafa.... I agree. To add little bit to that, did 'other' somalis like your kind have to remind you of your duties to defend YOUR OWN FREAKING COUNTRY. This isn't Aweys' country alone, nor is it Sh. Shariif Axmed, it belongs to all of you, therefore wait not for their word to tell you to know your enemy and fight for your country when invaded....however Aweys is being kind by doing his own duty PLUS mind and yours as well....God bless the man.

Posted by Xanthus : Red sea: Good luck, enjoy,do pass Hargisa, dn't just get stuck there:D A. Be safe. Hey Xanthus, offcourse not. I Insha Allah plan to land in Hargeysa, stay there for few about a week, then I will be heading East word to Ceerigabo, my dad's hometown, and yes while on my way, I plan to visit areas like Shiekh, Berbera and Burco as well. After that I will insha Allah go to Hawd (miyi aka Baadiye). I plan to spend about half of my time there, then I will return to Burco, spend few weeks there, I also plan to visit my aunt which I didnt visit the last time I was there in Las Canood. I hope to have anough time to see places like Boroma and Zeylac, Awdal, Insha Allah. If I had Balwad (like smoking or chewing khat) I would stuck around Hargeysa and Burco for most part....well I don't have that so. The countryside is where the fun is at. Jacaylow, abti, I will see you Insha Allah, make sure you stand at the airport waiting for me with a sing readin, Red Sea? offcourse the limo must be ready to escort me.. Northerner aaah abti gacaliye, you don't have much time. I can't wait to see you all and I can't wait to go back home again. This is it for me, my dear lads...I will contact you for those of you I have their numbers Insha Allah, as soon as I land and I have cup of tea. Deal with it, get little taste of what is happening near you. I heard that they said, there was some pieces of the Quran verses found near the scene...I had to laugh at that.

The human right situation in Somalia is deteriorating as hundreds of thousands have been forced to flee their homes while others are being subject to threats, rape and violence in the war-torn East African nation, a United Nations expert said today. read the complete report here....

Ina Lilaahi wa inaa Ilayhi raajicuun. *though I have something to say to those TFG aka Xabashi daba dhilif, I will keep it to myself, it's not approriate for now*.

salamu calaykum, lol...poor Xanthus is still taking critism, she is handling them pretty well though. Leave the girl alone people, she is the only one who has gone there, returned and gave showed pictures thus far almost as she returned. We can't thank you enough Xanthus....welcome back, and please don't respond to everything. Sit back and chil and let your mind wonder about your experience. In addition, yes the qaat is big problem back home walal...other than that people are doing okay. Hargesyawi girls vs. Burcawi girls I agree Burcawis are more of natural beauty while Hargeysawi have chosen different path, Diana ....that is another problem we need to tackle, just behind khaad. Northerner and Jacaylow, saaxibayaa, I didn't have the chance to reply back, so patient with me here. I am busy getting ready guys you know. I am now locked and loaded, I will take off on 16th of this Month Insha Allah tacalaa..home sweet home here I come.

Xiinfaniin, Ala maxaad ku galgalatay cinwaankan. You made a claim, now you just need to back it up of how.... 1. Somaliland was created by Ethiopia. 2. How Somaliland and the TFG( which by Golly we know what is made of) are the same thing. It aint rocket science bro. Though it's never okay for anyone to simply start to judge people because of their opinion on certain issues regarding political issues, one thing we should know is that I could care less of what anyone thinks of my position adeero. In addition, Puntland used to be automous state, which was very comparable to Somaliland as far as being self reliant, their elders and educated folks did a good job indeed to set it up, however now its' sacked into the power vacuum of the TFG( Tigray driven entity). It's in fact where Abdullahi Yusuf and the TFG get most of their support, its' where Ethiopian troops enter Somalia when needing to attack Southward, so maxaad ii kala qaybinaysaa waa isla halkii uun. Ina Yey is consider a hero down there....they love their man so much I have to say. Puntland is controlled by the TFG, it's part of the TFG in that sense, it's no longer self reliant autonous state as it was just few years back. That is where I was going with it, you took to totally different direction though.
