^whatever he told you is false sxb. was I born in Hargeysa yes, but aside my immediate family being in the west, the rest of close relatives are in Ceerigabo. Only distant abtiyaal are in Hargeysa at the moment and two uninhabited homes in new Hargeysa neighborhood and one in calaamadaha. My reasons to be in Hargeysa were very slim. I got stuck in Ceeriabo and then sent to miyi to visit my uncle who raised me for the most part of my life. He was little ill.

LaasCanood: A decleration of war and nothing less should do
RedSea replied to General Duke's topic in Politics
^^^That is what I am concerned of the most, an all out war between SL army+ some reer Sool vs. Puntland army+ most of reer sool. If that is case, then we are in for many more months of voilence and huge displacements...not good for S/Land nor the locals. Currently, since Somaliland is in control of Sool, I hope they somehow bring a way about that would make sure to calm the natives of Sool and convince them that they have no intentions of displacing the civilians of reer Sool in the meantime. These delegations are first step towards that. Somaliland has already withdraws its' troops from inside the city to outside of it to their original destination. meantime, I am urging everyone to stay calm and let us see how things work out. Remember dadkani maaha dad shisheeya ah waa dad somali ah maahan xabashi iyo balaayo cadow ah oo rabta in dhac iyo kufsi kula kacaan dadka. Waa dad somali ah oo dhaqankii somaliyeed haysta qaarkoodna waliba yihiin dad meesha udhashay. Taas ha ilaabina. I do understand the frustrations and the anger from reer Sool natives, but stay calm please. Everytime will allright Insha Allah. -

The recent actions by the secessionist militia and the jubilations of the secessionist supporters in SOL will not last for long and I hope that the deepened rift between the people of Northern Somalia can be bridged. Most of us here know how clan sentiments work and how destructive they can be when unleashed. My only hope and wish now is that these clan sentiments that are running high at the moment can be channeled for the greater good of our nation. That is coming from pro Siyad Barre, and pro the destruction of thousands of civilians who perished during his reign of terror. Good one mr.me..

LaasCanood: A decleration of war and nothing less should do

The Point and Soo maal, Currently somaliland has sent huge delegation to Las Anod. These delegations are natives of Sool. They were the ones appointed by Somaliland to sool however they never really served sool, because Las Anod was under Puntland authority. Their names are: 1. Aadan Cadde-wasiirka horumarinta reermiyiga 2. Axmed Xasan Cali- wasiirka cadaalada. 3. Liibaan ducaale casayr-boosaha iyo isgaadhsiinta 4. Baashe maxamud farax-gudoomiye kuxigeenka labaad ee golaha wakiilada SL. 5. cali Qoorseef- Kaluumaysiga 6. Dhakool-Xildhibaan barlmanka ka mid ah. Iyo Cali sandulle iyo kuwa kaloo badan oo kasoo jeeda gobolka. These are not Hargeysawis or Burcawis these are native Soolers who have every bit of right as the next sooler. When Puntland was in charge of Sool, most of you were going with the flow in peace, why can't you give these men the chance to show whether they are 'traitors' or really serious in doing better job than Puntland as they have promised. -
Northerner and the Point, I am putting some up on facebook and the rest here, give me time plz...thanks. Ciid mubarak. Layziegirl, waad mahadsantay dumaashi sida aad iidifacday.

E.Sanaag= Maakhirland, hence is free and clear from drama that is being played in Garowe? Sool= disputed with divided populace. What backbone sxb? -

^couldn't that be said about Puntland as well duke. Isn't both SL and PL visitors to the area when we speak beyond distant clan affliations. As someone said, Pland sees Las Anod as strategic base, rather than it being part and parcel of it, otherwise it would have defend it to death which it didn't have. The battle only lasted few hours when Puntland as it seemed left without really feeling the urgent to do so. Simply abandoned Las Anod. -

The Point, One has to wonder why were the SL troops stationed in dusty little village of adhi cadeeye for more than 2 years. And all of sudden why now, why now move towards Las Anod. If we use logic, there is nothing special about this timing for somaliland, evidently some reer Sool who are more than few and enough to make whole militias which are the natives of Sool are involved in this conflict. What do they want and whose interests are they serving? I can't say right now. But if we speak the truth that is the situation sadly. If somaliland felt the need to push towards Las Anod, they would have done in the past two years whether they fail or not, they would atleast attempt to take over Las Anod. Sool politics have shifted perhaps to not the favor of some or perhaps it might not be accepted by some of us, but so is the times that we live in. waa aduunyo laqabsada haka dhicinee. Besides we can blame somaliland for all we want and deny the fact that reer themselves are divided, but that is truth which being reported in every site. It seems to me that Puntland is losing the plot in every turn here. -

The Point, kuwa mawqifka somaliland taageersan ee udhashay meesha maxaad ka odhan lahayd, because obviously there are folks hailing from the area that support SL and are along side the SL troops? -

Duke, one shouldn't rush to war. And looking at the situation as it is, it is clear something has went terrible wrong. So are you neutral or you have taken sides? I dont' understand this put all the blame on somaliland kinda a deal.If somaliland is guilty of the displacements of civilians so is Puntland, therefore blame both sides or neither. -

That is more like 2/3 of Pland troops are being served and cooked in Xamar along their aids. ps. I thought Maakhirland was not part of Puntland but rather its on state.
