We all saw how small unit in the Galgala mountain rattled Faroole's admin. As for cooperating, I do hope it leads to further cooperations between Somaliland and Northeastern Somali state of Puntland. It's good news.

Wey isu dhaw yahiin, I agree, lakin anigu haddaan ka dhex hadlo meel Somali badan joogto it will be difficult to figure out what side of Somalia I am actually from unless I yell out with the popular word AGGGAAAAH . On the contrary, if you talk in a Somali public place, everybody will know that you are from waqooyi as soon as they hear your first sentence. It is not a bad thing that people know where you from when they hear your dialect, it just shows that your dialect is not the common one which defines how the starter of this poster is talking from his neck to tell us that the Reer Waqooyi created the Somali language. That is because you're ashamed of who you are. A rer Somaliland man would rarely change his dialect to fit in, whilst I have seen numerous rer galbeed folks who adjust their dialect and introduce and mix in rer koonfur dialect. Now days they say "nooh" instead Of "aggah" or say "Aggah nooh" all together.

Originally posted by NASSIR: quote:he has not come in with his own recipe for peace he has instead marching to the same tune and as expected for all ill fated warlords among him he has failed miserably because he is as I have mentioned is an ***** on power trip. Wrong adeer, Sharrif had called during the first few weeks in office for a comprehensive peace with al-Shabab leaders. He tried all he could to compromise and make enough space for them to implement and carry out as normal the application of Sharia Law although already enshrined in the transitional Charter as the supreme law of the land. The President's olive branch didn't bend a bit the stubborness of al-Shabab leaders or dissuade them from their cruel and inhumane punishment of the public. Besides, all the Great and respected Ulama of al-Soomaal such as Sheikh Omar Faruq, Sharif AbdiNur issued their own Opinion based on the Qur'an and Hadith and they appealed to the misguided Youth to renounce their suicidal operations, accept peace and work with Shariif and his government for the Somali Nation. Al-Shabab only proved to the majority of Somalis that they are neither independent nor led by leaders with vision, foresight and workable strategy; they are rather, as they have strictly confessed on the media, navigated and financed from Pakistan, Afghanistan, Qatar and Saudi Arabia by non-state actors opposed to the current global system and its institutions. Firstly, lets not delute ourselves. Sharia is not sentimental issue, it actually needs to be enacted. The TFG govt CAN have it in their charter but what good does it do if it's not put into motion? One has to understand Somalia is a Muslim nation and is dubbed as potential hubb for 'terrorist' (read real muslims). Therefore the International community notably the United states deploys all tactics via Africom base in Djabouti to disrupt and abolish any sign of potential Somali state under sharica law hence U.S forces based in Djabouti. That is why at the early signs of UIC birth in Muqdisho they established and funded "Ladagaalanga argagaxisada" formed by former warlords sudi Yalaxow, Qanyare, qaybdiid, and Raage cetra cetra. They also partook in airial raids in 2006 and provided all the intelligence to the Ethiopian ground forces and later raided villages deep in jungles of Southern Somalia killing hundreds of people and their livestock using cluster bombs. But one has to look and venture beyond his confort zone to really understand and fully examine where the Youth's Opposition arises. To expect AS to ratify the demands of the current TFG under Sh. Shariif/AMISOM when AS rejected the same deal with the prior TFG 1.0 under Abdullahi Yusuf/Ethiopia is simply being delusional. I have mentioned this to Xiinfaniin when he was drunk with Euphoria riding high on his 'peace caravan' that armistice is not possible under these terms because the rational criteria for peace which AS demanded where not met. An honest approach which Alshabab demanded was the withradrawal of all foreign forces from Somalia including but not limited to supposed "peace keepers" as clearly laid out by spokersperson of AS. In humble opinion, One cannot be misled to believe peace is possible under the current conditions. So long Islam is targeted and Muslims are labelled 'terrorists' then peace in Somalia is far fetched. The strings are being pulled by higher powers here and its' beyond the scope of the current TFG, past, present or near future. I thought you were talking about the TFG for a minute there. It's an outsourced product, sold to Somalis by America to combat the 'threat' Of Islamic fundamtelists (read: real Muslims). I have question for you who funds the TFG and it's 500 strong Parliment? Norf, Don't you think it's wierd to support this TFG which is no different than Abdullahi Yusuf's TFG? Simply replace Sh. Shariif in place of A. Yusuf and AMISOM In place of Ethiopia and voila you get the same product. That is why it has failed similar to the onebefore it and before that well you get the picture. New approach is needed and Alshabab provides the altarnative. beyond the fear factor instilled in our hearts by the media, AS is on the GOOD side of spectrum.
  7. Somalia has been in state of War way before AS/UIC came to existant. For more than a decade The IC attempted to set up some sort of govt for Somalia or "gacan Ku rimis" transitional entity as we like to call it in Somali. These Transitional governments all failed one after another Only because the very people who leading were yester years' warlords and were the very peopleresponsible for the suffering of the Masses. They all failed to deliver peace to the people simply because they WERE the problem.Recycling Same old warlords and faces over and over again and yet expecting somehow a different result IS the defination of madness and is bound to fail once more. You might argue that current TFG is being led by Fresh face and you would be right to believe that however as new as Sh. Sharif is to the somali political scene; he has not come in with his own recipe for peace he has instead marching to the same tune and as expected for all ill fated warlords among him he has failed miserably because he is as I have mentioned is an ***** on power trip. Waa Nacaaz Kursi lagu fadhiisiyey oo "B" iyo "T" aan midna aqoon. He is immensely under qualified for this position. He has no leadership skills nor does he have any formal educational background. Thus he cannot bring peace to Somalia nor is he capable of despite tremendous internaitonal support he is unable to even win the heart of one muqdisho district that is why he has lost everything outside of Villa Somalia to AS.On the contrary, AS is an energetic action driven with a core leaders who understand sacrifice is a Must NOW for Somalia to enjoy a better future. People need to understand that AS does not wish to continue war, they seek peace and development for Somalia and are willing to cede the leadership, but to only legitimate leader whom the Somali people have full confidence in not someone who has been crowned in Djabouti or Kenya and then occupanied by Foreign muscles. A legit leader walks and freely roams about among his people and is not in hiding nor is guarded by people who don't look like us. The arguments coming from the Weakling pro occupation and humiliation camp is astoundingly irrational. Yes people will die! Yes buildings will be destroyed. Yes more blood will be shed unfortunately among them many inncoents will perish! But the end does justify the means. The choice is Somalia can be stuck in this status quo for many years to come or make the sacrifice NOW for brighter future tommorow. The future is not with Transitional govt ex warlord enterprise who are out of sync with the Situation their country and people face. These people don't care about Somalia. Each and everyone of them is here to fill his pockets, gain fame and then build fancy villas in neighboring countries and retire there i.e Geedi. The only people who care about Somalia are the ones who rebell, sleep on the dirt, eat half cooked meals, and fight hard with conviction. Alshabab and UIC brought peace to Somalia within matters of months whereas the IC has failed to do so via TFG formula. One has to wonder why? because it's not an honest approach to peace. If it were, peace would have taken hold in Somalia long ago. I suggest people in Southern Somalia back the AS and give them that last push they need to chase out those AMISOM monkeys out of town so Insha Allah the real work can start. So People I'm telling you lets not ignore the real ELEPHANT in the building, the occupiers and puppets their protect.

Kudos to the kids anyway. Been ku dhaaro! Will you put your right hand up and stand up and swear that they did it. If not don't accuse. I understand Alshabab have become the easy prey when it comes to blame but trust me on this one they are more nobler than most think. It's unfortunate that lies have been spread about this group in order to sabotage their achievements. Attacking this group for wrong doings which they are not guilty off and yet praising the fruit of their dedication to the diin is bit hypocritical . Not that I'm saying you are but generally speaking Alshabab gets a bad wrap in the Media. An example would be; AMISOM launches ten Shells into residential area and after they decimate innocent civilians claim and alshabab was hiding there. Do the people blame AMISOM for their actions? NO!! They turn around and curse Alshabab for bringing this upon them. When will people open their eyes and actually fight the real enemy which is AMISOM and their puppets who are good for nothing. History never lies and is a testament That any puppet regime particularly those that have been Assigned on the behalf of the Somali people without their consent have a success rate of a Zero, zilch, Nata. On the contrary, I would be naive and blind to suggest that there is never been a moment whereby Alshabab had done some, reached some, questionable decisions; Nonetheless their overall Actions have been extensive on the positive note more so than their shortcomings which ultimately each group, government or leader is bound to make. You look at places Like Kismaayo, city torn between rival clans for a decade and so, where killings were daily happenings, you take places like Marka where warlords control the population killed and robbed people for no apparent reasons, places like Baydhabo where clan leaders were being executed and residents were cleansed to even earn nick name of 'city of death' and then suddenly these guys come in and clean it up and hold everyone responsible for his/her actions and govern everyone the same regardless of qabiil and made it peaceful, thriving cities. The point of the matter is however the media hates Alshabab to a degree of unimaginable proportion. They(media) has reached a un ethical conclusion which is whatever good Alshabab does we shred and made sure never makes it to public view, and whatever bad they do regardless of how small it might be we magnify it ten folds and then serve to the Qurbo joog folks and in turn they will oppose and criticize without confirmation to what they have heard. The Success of the Group ultimate depends on the support of the Somali people both back home and abroad that is why it's crucial to have fair and balanced take on everything before we decide to make up our minds. I think defaming the good name of noble movement like the Youth is very dangerous for they will someday not far from now(if they play their cards right) they will be able to deliver Peace to Xamar by God's grace Insha allah. I think it's time we seek the truth that is out there rather than taking the easy way out and blaming every on the Youth movement. If anything Alshabab has been distraction from the real failure in Somalia which is Shrek Shariif and his 500 member house of fat cats and thugs. That is who we should slum really. Let not the youthfulness and tone of Mr. Hotel fool you he is Dugsi macalin on power trip. You see he is mesmerized by this whole new lavish life style: the lights, camera, limos, well tailored suits(quite an upgrade from his sandles and cheap macawus). If you had told Sh. Shariif that few years removed from his day time job as Geography class instructor that he would be living the life he would probably call you crazy. Well I know huh! How life takes un expected turns and makes one so undeserving and worthy of glory be just that, a Leader. Well on personal level Sh. Shariif's life has been a success and he has cashed in as those before him had done. But on national level Somalia is still limping and on the death bed unless Allah swt sends men of faith and heart of steel to retain the leadership of the country, put on the right path and bring back to alive. The youth is the real deal trust me on that.
  9. This sorta news happens everyday but it never gets reported. Only truth filtered and distorted news ever finds itself here. I'm not Surprised. This is Allah's grace 100% and the leadership of Alshabab religious wing to strengthen and preserve our Beautiful Diin in this Muslim state. Masha Allah. Jzk khayr brother Maadey for this wonderful report.
  10. Masha Allah Maadeey wallahi waa raggeedii. Keep reporting the good news. Intii diinta iyo xaqa neceb meel ayaa cun cunta. Ninkii xaqqa sheegana wakaasoo way iskugu habar wacdeen.

  13. As he says' Nothing is impossible' in this world. If he has the desire I don't see why not although you might need few battle scars to be given serious respect in the tribal and warlord-ism based politics in Somalia.

So who do you think is responsible for the targeted killings in and around Lascanood? It's hard to say. I think no one on here can really give a straight answer. But I don't think it's smart to label every little incident a terrorist work. This is more or less related to discontent folks in Las Anod taking their 'revenge' on Somaliland badge. They are killing the wrong people. These men have done nothing to harm Las Anod.

  17. It seems to me Qaran news and Waaheen have become the new opposition mouthpieces. They previously supported former regime plight in right or wrong. Oh! How things have changed. I don't believe this report for one bit.

Quit the caravan talk even crazy horse xiinfaniin had to give up on it. There is no caravan and there won't none.
  19. Towards where you asked? Well ultimately we strive to exist in environment that allows us to live our lives the way we want. If you considered having a seat in the UN's General Assembly the ultimate goal in life then that is your call. Go ask people in Xamar of what they would rather have. Peace which is invaluable comm amity or mere seat in UN General Assembly? The probability is 99.9% would have loved some sorta relieve from the life they live in despite yes being reprsented by Sh. Dalxiis who is frequent flier to International destinations yet comes back home in armored vehicles. Life is nothing if you can't afford or don't have peaceful environment whereby you can raise and watch your kids grow without so much fear of stray bullets and what not. This is where you and I take separate path; you give in so much into the dirty politics's play book and have actually lost sight of the benefits of having to boost about peace and politically stable region. I know this argument is getting rather tiresome, but you have to understand Peaceful ENVIRONMENT is everything and doesn't come easy just go ask folks in Xamar. That is my measuring stick. Are my people doing ok? If so, then having international recognition of my existence can wait. As for your second part of your post: Well walalo I have no control of the will of the majority. If people of Somaliland decide to reunite with their fellow skinnies down south then hey I'm on-board if they choose stay the way they are then hey I"m on board too. End of day you gotta respect the people's call.
  20. Off-course he knew it all. He was the chief architect for this whole mess. He didn't depart soon enough to preserve The somali government. He ascended into power in a country with legit govt and left it chaotic. Whatever strides he made during his tenure was all for nothing because he ultimately failed to safe Somalia from sliding into civil war which he himself took part of as SNF. He was selfish, arrogant monster good riddance.
  21. Thanks brothers. Amiin to the duca! MMA I was there in every minute.
