Does not surprise me that Fu’ad feels that he’s spent… No abti he shouldn't feel he is used, becuase he is not the only one to lost his job nor is he the only one disatisfied with the current adminstration. In case people don't realize ex-snm members are being thrown in Mandheera here solely for opposing the ruling party. If he doesn't like what Udub is doing, simply change parties and be influencial in the upcoming elections.
  2. Mr. Naxar Nugaaleed, Actually in la is xaqiro mafiicna. I am very much content with his disapproval of Riyaale adminstration just like most somalilanders feel. He is strongly against the forming of new regions so are many folks around. That I have to agree with him. Also he mentioned that SL government didn't deliver on its promise it made for rer Sool; it's the truth, they haven't yet. But again that is Udub party which he is part of. So firing mininsters and being disatisfied with this current SL adminstration doesn't start with Aden Ade, but alot of people all so do feel that Riyaale makes fake promises not just to reer Sool but anywhere else. So I do see where Aden Ade is coming from here. However, Aden Ade needs to take easy with the qabiil talk about reer hebel sidan iyo sidan. What now? well I think he should join Kulmiye and the coalition for 'change' and hope for new post better than being wasiirka reer miyiga and horumarinta, which he sucked at!
  3. Warkii Ugu Dambeeyey:: Islamic fighters seize Somalia town and other somali related News in English. - -------(CNN) -- Islamist fighters Thursday seized a central Somali town from Ethiopian-backed government forces in a fierce fight that left at least 17 people dead, a local journalist said. The fighters are members of al-Shaabab, which the United States recently designated as a terrorist group, saying it has ties to al Qaeda. ---The fighting between al-Shaabab forces and the Ethiopian-backed Somali forces broke out at 6 a.m. in the town of Adaado and continued for six hours, according to reporter Mohamed Moallin Appullahi, who spoke to CNN from Adaado. --The Islamist fighters destroyed two military tanks and captured eight other military vehicles from government forces stationed in Adaado, before forcing them to withdraw to a nearby town and across the Ethiopian border, Appullahi said. --Other fighting between al-Shaabab and government forces was reported in the nearby town of Jalalaqsi, but Appullahi had no details on that fighting. According to the U.S. State Department, al-Shabaab -- also known as the Mujahedeen Youth Movement -- "is a violent and brutal extremist group with a number of individuals affiliated with al Qaeda." "Many of its senior leaders are believed to have trained and fought with al Qaeda in Afghanistan," the State Department said. -----Al-Shaabab is also an extremist splinter group of the Islamic Courts Union, which seized control of Somalia and its capital, Mogadishu, two years ago before being deposed in Ethiopia's December 2006 invasion. The United States accuses the ICU of harboring suspected al Qaeda figures and did not protest Ethiopia's invasion. After their defeat more than a year ago, the Islamist fighters retreated to southern Somalia, but appear to be making a comeback in recent weeks. Don't Miss * 250,000 Somalis flee dangers of capital for sprawling camp * Somalia too dangerous, aid agencies say Previously, ICU remnants staged intermittent attacks across Somalia, including launching grenades in Mogadishu. But recently, the Islamist fighters have become more brazen, carrying out attacks in daylight and seizing control of towns in southern and central Somalia. The Associated Press reported Thursday that Adaado is the eighth town seized by the Islamist fighters in recent weeks. Asked about reports that Islamist fighters seized control of a town outside Mogadishu earlier this week, State Department spokesman Tom Casey did not seem too concerned. "What we've seen recently is patterns where extremists will, in fact, go into an individual village or location temporarily, conduct activities there, but not sustain that or hold it in any meaningful way," he said during a briefing Monday.
  4. I use to like Faris' movie way back. That was a cool actor.
  5. Masakiin they have not being paid. darn that fat man Cadde Muse.
  6. Somalipride, The only way you are welcome in Muqadacio is if you are coming in the name of somali brotherhood. But if you come in with guns blazing and on top of Ethio tank, then heck no sir you will chased around in Xamar like your fellows folks from Mudug who came with their grand daddy in yey are being chased around in Bakara, Bay, hiiraan and else where. Back to the wilderness of Mudug, boy!

  8. If Kulmiye becomes the ruling party it will shut the yappers of some noisy folk in here! Everybody support Kulmiye for 'change'.
  9. I don't think he accomplished anything visible.
  10. Okay I just saw a man said to be vetenerian who was murdered in cold blood lying on the street. And then another one said to be in Puntland's gov. who was shot in the middle of the city. Anyone know what is happening to these people and who is responsible and how come no one is talking about it?
  11. You fight like Reer Muqdisho are doing. This isnt just a bad guest, waa mid aan rabin in uu tago.
  12. Well I think Udub just did. Ceerigabo+Badhan use to come under the same name; Sanaag, but no longer according to udub. ps. Does maakhir state include Erigabo, Max (maydh and Xiis), and Ceel afwayn and midhisho?
  13. There is qabyaalad everywhere but it doesn't exist in the Somaliland government the way it exists in other entities. Like you wouldn't say hebel hebel oo laga soo doortay beesha reer hebel, instead its' said hebel oo laga soo doortay xisbiga noocaas ah, I.E (Udub, Ucid ama Kulmiye) The reason this isn't good is because, togdheer was home to multi clans, those living in Burco and those living in Buuhoodle and they all claimed their capital to be Burco. Those living in Caynaba, Oog, Sool claimed their capital to be Las Anod and thus Ali Sandulle was their governor. Also Sanaag is divided between West (ceerigabo) and East(Badhan) Sanaag. Not Cool! Reer Buuhoodle have their clan state, Caynabo has its, Badhan has its etc...again any chance of differnt clan living together in same state is gone unless parliament doesnt' approve this. Gabiley and Zeylac are fine as far as qabiil because Gabiley and reer Hargeysa are of the same clan so are Zeylac and Awdal, but other areas where clan are diverse it's terrible idea on two fronts 1. no need for new states at this time. Becuase it means more government empoloyees. 2. no need to resurface qabiil again that we were trying to get rid off.
  14. These are weapons. I wonder if they are still operational.
  15. Udub hadii urabo in dadka caawiyo booyado biyaa ha udiro meelaha abaartu kajirto sida Togdheer, sanaag, Gabiley oo coicedenly ah meeshu gobolada umagacaabay. Dadkii ayuunbaa qabiil lookala qaybiyey wax laga raali yahayna mahan waxani.
  16. Good Job, waa rageedii!. It has become the new trend to abuse the TFG militia when their backers aren't in sight. The TFG militia hardly puts up any fight as they run faster than anything abondening their isbaarooyinka dadka masakinta ku baadhanayeen. Press TV reporting.
  17. Well if it's for educational purpose for foreigners travelers who may interest to learn about the tradition of our beloved Prophet peace be upon him, then this is a good way to do it, because it gives them detour through his life by way of visual aide. I think it's nice we have a Muslim country that is keeping up with the latest technological changes around the world.
  18. I heard it costed about $750K. Not bad for a building that big! looks good. 'Indhadeero Co. and Dahabshiil are wonderful people. In fact indha deero (named after Cawad 'Indha deero' long time rer burco bussiness man is one of my favorite somali people of all time. He has passed away few years ago AUN and his son has filled in continuing the great tradition of Indha deero Co. You can read about the biography of that great man here(in somali): somalilang.org
  19. I don't get it. he is somali and they are Ethiopians??
  20. So Duke if he is Puntlander why are you so concern of which sub clan he hails from. Oh I see, it's really important to you isn't it. che, nothing intended.
  21. Dabshid, To be honest with you somaliland has better chance of gaining recognition with stable southern somalia than the statu quo. The whole point that most people here are arguing is who is better to deliver peace in Southern Somalia. That is the whole argument here. So far as it has shown it's not the TFG or any of its members. It has been the the ICU and that might explain why poeple missed it or 'mourning' as you put it. You might also be forgetting that the TFG is a criminal enterprise, the crimes which it has commited will not go unpunished by the somali people trust me on that. In addition, my friend don't be so sure of who killed the aid workers. That was a terrible thing to do and already the resistance has denounce any relations to those acts. It's not them. We all know the ex-********s and warlords capable of such criminality are all within the framework of the TFG.
