  1. I’m here writing on loose leaf, my mind thinking to the beat, and my heart singing the blues deep in my prime-scene never fall in love swift coz I've learned how to express in hard fist but I’m trying to feed off a jazz clip keep my mouth zeal- let my tune deal, body swing And the blue ink Will carry out your fantasy yet the summoning wind is blowing the seed Tempting by all the Things running deep I could see myself drifting in sea Oh sugar- when I thought of we simplicity burst in cold wind with one foot in sand- daydreaming of what it felt like to Have a sister to called my right hand faded pictures made my way back in rain As we grow old -some friends becomes just faces others cut the laces but you are running back to me like this was home base Or a marathon I let you set your own pace As I wait for the authority And the right word to ask you -The honor of being my wife- I’ll play the shadows in bay Reflection between the bees living proof of how our life should be drinking from the Nile and praying at the highest rocks in Sub-Sahara sound of guitar and Mango candles burning in Congo I saw the queen in you Waiting to be fed in ritual tone Hungry for music and wedding ring Open the door so I could rock you with feathers, gold and lullabies in rainbow I’m yours to Go And that’s a promise until we bone. 3. unfortunately- qabiil is a birth mark- better known as a cancer- it moves from generation to generation, and it wont go away anytime soon.
  4. "The blacker the better- the darker the flash" aint nothing like a black women. dont let the light skin fool u, it only adds to your self-esteem illness.
  5. This story is appalling, and tragically it plays out a lot in the immigrant detention system. It was pretty amazing when ICE actually released guidelines a few weeks ago to address concerns about the treatment of nursing mothers in immigrant detention. So of course they don’t bother to pass the memo on to the county jails who contract with ICE to hold immigrant detainees.
  6. A North Carolina jail is denying a Brazilian woman held in the facilities the right to pump breast milk for her 2 month old baby in spite of the fact that the child is rejecting formula and becoming ill: Ezequiel Oliveira, who is helping care for the woman’s two children, said he spent hours at the jail Monday trying to get a breast pump to 29-year-old Danielle Ferreira. He said Ferreira’s baby, Samuel, is crying incessantly and keeps spitting up baby formula. “We give him formula and put in the pacifier but he is crying day and night, day and night, all the time,” Oliveira said. Jail officials say they can’t discuss conversations inmates have with medical staff, but are aware of the situation. In general, spokeswoman Julia Rush said, inmates are not allowed to express milk without a court order. She said mothers are treated for symptoms when they must abruptly stop nursing. According to the Charlotte Observer, Ferreira was picked up on a shoplifting charge after her brother hid a CD in her baby stroller without her knowledge on a visit to a local mall. She is currently being held because she is undocumented. The Observer points out that “U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement formally adopted guidelines that allow pregnant women or nursing mothers to be released under supervised conditions” but I guess that doesn’t apply to state or municipal jails.
  7. Man I’m taking this philosophy class- and I’m continuously dealing with this matter, but how could I write it in such a way that will do it justice? How could I use words to paint a picture that conveys what is in my mind? First let me set my priority as side- and if I find the time- I’ll sure to boil my thinking-pattern and put the image in here to share with you all. Nonetheless I appreciate ya’ll giving me a piece of logical substance to entertain myself. much love and many blessing.
  8. "It's like your Favorite Food, only you don't have the appetite to eat it"lol i've never came across with such a dilemma, but the thing is enable to see eye to eye both party's have to be on the same avenue- Unfortunately thats not the case in this matter. one door is open- but the other is close. much love and many blessing.
  9. Just as roses vary in their beauty, so do women. Whether white, black, Hispanic, Indian, or Asian, all are beautiful. People may have individual preferences, but to compare one type of beauty to another is simply ridiculous. There is no set standard for flowers, and there should be none for women. . . . Now, wouldn't it be great if life were a bed of roses? As we all know, this is not the case. Fashion designers, beauty publications, and most television commercials dictate how the "ideal" woman should look: blond hair, blue eyes, white skin, pencil-thin figure, five foot seven or taller in height. The majority of women, who do not reflect these images, end up resenting themselves and wishing they looked like someone else. This deplorable practice tells black women, "Your looks don't fit the bill — you're not good enough." I like the attitude of this sister. thanks for the post!

Take me home where memory wonders Through the land where I belong Take me where the heathers blooming And where hearts of art resound in poetry song Take me home where the sea’s is raging Where mountains are foggy Sisters crying and where death told Of young brothers uncounted Take me home where hills are burning and Poverty is thee golden trophy Take me home- where freedom rings In the morning hours I hear her voice calling me And driving down the road I get a feeling That I should have been home yesterday But my feet’s are unknowing I’m at the end of long rope Loathing the air pollution Propaganda and opinionated confusion Bush pushing us to fight his own war When my people getting burn by his budget Box as grab the pen to write this paper Standing on the threshold With my eyes wide open Fatigue sets in Emotions are tire As I set back -in thirst of motherland That natured my childhood, Memories flooding into my mind Of happy home where I once stood Long seen home-land still afresh With the fragrance of dust and mud the sight of cattle salvaging the greenery the wailing of babies –tender as a flower mud Oooooh lady liberty –TAKE ME HOME

I and you are but the pattern, in the niches of a lamp, through which the Light shines. I and you are the blanket between heaven and earth; lift this blanket and you will see no longer the bonds of sects and creeds. As I write this linger piece Your reflection blinks over my balcony Like a mirror clear out of dust and dirt, I recognized the Self in me: When I saw you dwelling in me- Excitement rocks inside the phase of hormany Funny in sense but I used to think that if I tried to maintain this image of friendship Then maybe I could change the things that I regretted in my past life But through all the lessons that you taught me I have learned my experiences enhanced my character And in many nights I try to move beyond the sea of lost love But your strength drawn me rear in Heavens door You begin to spend every minute on my mind, I try to escape by the mood but in all honesty I can do nothing, but blush and smile at the sound of your name Your reflection reduces the pain in moment of dark When I feel so torn to curse such an hazy thing as distance delay even when you mention me to friends or family I swoon in sort of way As I gaze at the moon ray, thinking of the future and it consumes me and you become not only the solace, but also a source of true happiness in may. by: Abdul aka Kulmiye
  14. Frosty twilight Season tainted Chaos flee beyond the rivers of wounded Brave man falling Leaves drifting New Orleans and Darfur are tame to seek answer with dime and method of violence Civilian on the face of silence Emotions detailed by the murk twilight Among the rivers of peace Lays a valley of banded Drifting saga of people Palestine and sour of deceive They stand at the corner In hunger, tears, and agony In hardship and yearning They’ were thrown into amazes of years And now they disrobed with anger Running with a rupture of fire, While drink from death, with edge of a sword The noble man’s soul has two goals To die or reach... And Deadly said "Promises of a relief... gift and parcels Some people say that revolution will descend On this madness end this confusion But we've all heard the privileged boast and preach And the promised land we want is still out of reach" The end result remains the same Across the air waves too many of our people have Gave up the right to think In exchange for the comfort of financial plantation Submitting to the gospel of the media’s doctrine And offering up their rights Three by two by one Till none think for themselves And the fences’ boundaries slowly close in We are led to the slaughter incarcerated son… Raped and devalued daughter Father first to be removed with the art of Deception, depression and greed, Leaving mothers to depend on others for their needs, And government offering hide secret agendas But having invited the viper in Her sentry is easily subdued and removed Leaving her offspring As easy prey for their venom We Got to Listen, Rise, Recognize, and Progress and Revolution will grow! <--Abdul Aka Kulmiye--<
  15. At the age five Daddy said bye Momma feeling high still trying to keep a close eye Six kids with no dime We all sort of felt like a seeds of fiend But this queen had us feeling pioneers And trees of dreams stuck together until we built a bridge of friendship than it was destiny that came-to feed And momma decide to travel her way-to see her seed lost leaves- but maitain to hold there roots Now my heart is heavy at page two/two Playing poetry as my blues--- And asking the lord to show me the street of ease to a actor a man that can't play his part to speed look in Somalia homies my rhymes pass like the seasons but are cold as December sea their blank like the snow and so is my memory Sometimes my head is stuck so I’m peeling the brain can't get the answer to life so I’m feeling insane until I see that the mirror is dealing the pain I’m hurting myself and doubt is stealing my again Can't see my essence so presence is reeling a stain that drives hat, but now I’m healing with sway

  18. I have to agree with Rudy on this one. really kobe feels like his on the top of the world, and pretty much everything in LA and that organization has to be all about him- on a different note I think the problem with kobe -I mean the thing that is bugging him is the fact that Shak has a title without his ***; so he is looking for a way to prove to the world that he can get a title himself with-out SHAK. the chance of this happening, lol who are u kidding. I was never a fan of thing self-center baster, please take him out of LA- he'll probably end up with Dallas and that would be his only way of getting a ring with a decent talent around him, if not look for him in Magic Uniform.
  19. Unfortunately i'm not familiar with all the services they have back home, but in general the mobile phone Is sizzling merchandise in the African continent, in fact one of my college-mate went to study abroad in Zambia- and he was telling me about how poor people are in some place of the country yet even the little kids have mobile phones- but there is no services; so people use phone cards to talk.
  20. college football is back, and not only is it back but we have already seen five weeks of it. and the fifth week of the season brought eight top-25 upsets, and will certainly have major BCS implications as the season progresses. Saturday's surprises included Auburn defeating No. 4 Florida, 20-17, Colorado shocking No. 3 Oklahoma, 27-24, and Kansas State stomping No. 7 Texas, 41-21. On Friday, No. 5 West Virginia fell to No. 19 South Florida, 21-13. Not to Mention the biggest upset in college football that took place in the first week of the season. And that was the Michigan Wolverines football team who lost to Appalachian State 34-32, becoming the first team in NCAA history to lose to a FCS/Division I-AA team while being ranked in the top 25.[1] They are the first team in NCAA football history to be ranked in the top five and fall out of the AP Polls completely the following week. Now thats something to be proud of as a buckeye! In fact In what was supposed to be a rebuilding year, the Buckeyes have suddenly vaulted into the nation's top five. THE TOP TEN TEAMS In WEEK 6 1 LSU 2 USC 3 California 4 Ohio State 5 Wisconsin 6 Boston College 7 Kentucky 8 Florida 9 Oklahoma 10 West Virginia
