Dacee code of practice: Ramadaan Kareem

LOL, Ibts. The burqini is so ridiculous. They should wear Abu Cumar and T-Shirts over their swimming costumes like xajiyadaha. LOL.
-
She's a errrm, what was the name..let me google bal. People who are born with characteristics of both genders. She may have the some female parts but male characteristics. Very rare but it's exists. Miskinah. She could just be gifted.
-
LOL. What terms did you put into google for these images, NG. Love the last one. And, do you want to talk to Ayeeyo?
-
Assalamu Alaikum.. Watching this. Very useful. Ramadan Kareem, brothers. I hope it's your best ever..

LOOOOL^ You sound like my hooyo, bless. I don't got the heart for that sort of business.. I get very nervous with other peoples money, can't hack the responsibility. Ciyaal xaafadka waan ka ducaystaa though, I'm duco greedy.
-
OMG. LOL. LOL. LOL. I LOVE your kids.
-
You're meant to buy dahab when it's cheap and sell it when the prices go up. Don't buy when the prices are up, like now. Xaajiyaduhu are always asking me the price of dahab. I should set up a Personal Shopper service. LOL.

I use ALL the features on my phone and it spares me a lot of hassle. I use the alarm to wake me up and tell me prayer times.. the calendar for reminders because I've the memory of a gold fish, the clock because I don't like wearing watches. Plus, if I am away from the kids - I like to be able to be in contact with them constantly and I love taking random photos of them of them at play or doing some cute and childish. It's a beauty! I tend to lose my phone a lot and it gets to me every time as it really messes things up for me but can I live without it.. Definitely, if I need to. There are very few things that I can't live without! Not so bothered about the laptop. I use it a lot but if don't have access to it, I just get someone to check my emails ones in a while - unless I'm doing a course or something. Then it's a must have.

^Masha Allah, that must be a nice feeling. Juxa wallahi, I felt sick. Astaqfirullah. I have improved significantly over the years but obviously need to deal with the impulse buying. I couldn't even figure out why I bought some of the stuff, stupi*d sales, I bet. Ibts.. LOL. It ain't so hard, many people do it and you'll know exactly what's going in your stomach.

Juxa.. ahay. But the vessel becomes your responsibility and it's not bottomless. Originally posted by The Zack: There are a lot of times you can't control how much you are spending and there are times you can. It is all about your short term goals. For instance, if you know you are getting married on the summer of 2010 you will definitely save some 20g's or so in less than a year. So again it is all about goals, mudane Che. That's the thing. He wants to be wealthy. Wealthy people don't save for weddings, the money would already be at their disposal. Saving and investing your money buys you freedom. You're not hoarding or being miserly - if you pay sadaqah and Zakah and spend within reason. I don't know why Somalis look down on the notion of wanting to make more money.. (?) The more you save, the more Zakah you pay - which means that you invest in your aakhira and community too. I think last point is the reason the Prophet (saw) twinned spendrifts with misers. But as evident, most of us don't spend within reason. We moved house recently and just looking at all my stuff, some I forgot I had - it's useless. Now, I'd rather save up and buy value items that double as assets but it is hard to resist some things... Che.. Yuk! I was thinking along the lines of kettles, sugar - a DIY, bring your own damned mug facility- That's what I'm used to. I'm not a coffee person but I can't ever imagine cutting back on tea.
-
NG, Not my hubby. LOL Budget first, Che. Treat savings as a bill and coffee as a luxuary. No tea / coffee making facility at work?

ONE feature? ONE? Han yaridaa? LOL. Che, She ain't the only Burcawi on here, so expand the suck up, boy!

A question to the gym enthusiasts here (Fu Fu, you're excuse, dear), has it really helped you lose and keep of the weight? I've committed myself to it for two months in a bid to lose the post baby fat and nothing. Then I went to UK and did a lot of walking, running up and down the stairs and not through choice or for the sake of losing weight and I've found that I've lost several kilos- naturally even though I've also indulged a little on xalwa and the like. Come to think of it, I always lose weight when in London and that's just down to me being more active than in Dubai and err.. maybe also because I'm not able order xalaal KFC over the phone- if I'm honest. So tell me is the gym over rated? Apart from the fabulous pool and sauna and pain in the tendons, I haven't got much else from my gym membership. According to this article in Time "Why excercise won't make you thin" , we've been fed the wrong information. It makes an interesting point about how the rise of gyms and health clubs in the past 20 years has done little to offset the rising level of global obesity and also mentions something that we already discussed in this thread - eating more and craving the wrong foods when you exercise - thus merely balancing out your energy input / output. It also seems this notion of being fairly and carelessly inactive most of the time and then pushing your body to its limits for 45 minutes, three / four times a week is a bit.. well, silly. To me at least. This isn't an excuse to bow out and send myself off to jiggleville. I'm just wondering if this whole hype about rigorous exercise regimes is worth the time, money and headache. Do you really need to turn into a calorie counting, treadmill bounding nut? Or are we just better off just walking and shunning the lift?

^ It is catchy but iska 'dhiish' as usual. Afkay kaga haday Soomaalida.

LMAO @ THIS THREAD.

^salaams my love..XX Feeling yukky mummy right now.. with me runny nose and sore throat. Bah! How are you?

Wow! Congrats, KK. Illahay ha kuu sahlo, hon. On the pay cut- we were actually adviced to opt for the pay cut by people who went through a recession before. You keep your job and bonuses get more generouse once the dust settles, too. Insha Allah Khayr! At least you haven't lost your main income like many other families. That would be a real nightmare. Look on the bright side, hon.. you definitely don’t need any more stress.

Dabshid, Is that how it ended? I didn't like all the blood and lame dialogue. His friend kept repeating the same lines. Such a disapointment! I heard rave reviews about Motel or was it Hotel. The one about the mother with two girls.
-
Che, I'm really sorry to hear this walaalo. Samir iyo Eman for you and the family. Aabo Illaahay ha u naxariisto, Insha Allah. Ameen to all the ducaa.
