Somalicentric, that just looks so nice and cosy. What's the full title of the Africa book? Narniah;816342 wrote: My strawberry and Malawax fascination. I jacayl strawberries with malawax. Weekend treat. Yum.

^So, what's your name then?

You know what would be better and less awkward, take both your cousin and the girl out for dinner, lunch. Don't make a huge deal out of it. If after that you like each other then you can take it further or just let it slide quietly.

^Seriously, are you being delibrately obtuse here? No, the hadiths mean that YOU will be answerable to Allah for making takfiir on a Muslim. It's better for you to leave his deen, iskaga hadh... or don't, I'm done with this thread.

I'm not gossiping behind your back and certainly won't be flogging you when you die. I understand that he was not popular. I wasn't a fan of his policies but to go around bashing his Islam after his death is pointless and a little OTT.

Oh my.. you've been itching for 8 whole days to flog a dead man? Whatever he was, Illaahiisu la joogaa. Pulling the murtad card my come to haunt you in your own aakhira ee calm down. SMH!

If Hamza Yusuf is the ONLY scholar that you listen to, doesn't that limit your scope of understanding? I recommend that you move away from the personalities of these brothers and look into their teachings or approaches to learning the deen. I didn't read Bilals' critique against Hamza's methodology as a personal attack but as an issue of manhaj and an age old debate.

^Why is that? Are the Somali the consumers or the 'sheikhs'. I'm hearing a lot about Kenya dad sixir looga soo qabtay. Thanks for the pics, Nuune. What a beautiful city, this is making me slightly depressed, I can't wait for this year to end.

Errm. Being over populated doesn't make a city better than another. Berbera may not have as many people and buildings as H-Town but that has always been the case and it is actually the beauty of this great city. It boasts a great history, location making it popular with foreign (qurbo joog) and local tourists. My Aabo is there at the moment and the number of projects under way just makes me giddy with excitement. In all honesty, Berbera has always been the heart of SLs economy, it silly to suggest that businesses stay in Berbera as the port is the central link for northern businesses in SL and beyond. People need to stop waiting around for a govt to build their cities. While, current govt. seems to be investor friendly and there is amazing potential but in the end it's local community initiatives and local business people who can make real and lasting difference.

LOL. Nuune, I dare not say. Heedhe, what happened to the daily instalments of jinn stories you've promised me? Che, Most of the worlds rich and powerful (irrespective of gender) are known to each other and don't need to be part of these clubs to make business deals or to network. There are similar women only clubs and I think that while they serve some purpose, on the most part these clubs are overrated.
-
Shukaasi? What has that got to do with the price of bonds?
-
Ditto@ NN. Women at the level have the opportunity to network through conferences, conventions etc. Some things are just not worth pursuing.
-
What's the big deal? Can't see why any self respecting woman would want to socialise with a bunch of old, golf playing cadaan men. Urgh!
-
^ :D . Well cheers my young inaadeer. Who says the 'average xallimo' link is selling yourself short though? LOL.

Lander, ma Xaali Bare. I could only wish. I don't think that I've a celebrity lookalike. Just another xaliimo.
