  1. Cutie Thats an Idea.. I might try that, thnx. Miskiin looooooooooool, U so funny bro. I love the Body Shop, but please won't you let me go to Miss Selfridges? ... Just to look arround! We can buy a two way ticket tp Hargeisa for Hooyo. Huudheeydhkii Hargaisa ha ku soo wareegto. (I am told it is the best in the world). She needs a break anyway.
  2. Sh..._Lady Thats it.. I am not speaking to U.... how could U forget me   . Am kidding babes, I am a lil brain dead when it comes to people and names, thats why i'll never try. Love to meet U too to give U a lil something on your head at least. Barwaqo, Hold up... did U just talk me into something? I forgot the rest of my comments... my am getting bad at foruming
  3. I am not exactly sure about your definition of inter-racial, do you mean a different race or a different nationality. I personally would prefer a Somali brother. However, I don't see anything wrong with marrying outside of your culture or race as long as he is a muslim. Afterall, muslims are meant to be one , right? Coming to Somalis , we are a judgemental bunch I must admit. My older sister married a Yemani and people who had no bussiness bugging acted like they were heart broken.. but over the years they got over it. What I don't really understand is the double standards associated with the issue. A man can marry an alien and no one would pat an eye lid, but for a woman it's a whole different matter. I find that amusing .. I really do
  4. hehehehehehehe Ur cruel. But I'd rather go shopping with you then He who can not be mentioned or shopped with.
  5. looooooool@ Hooyo.. did the farax's at your uni get you so mad that you forgot what you were doing? lol@ Kool Kat, I had a similar experience... I met this dude on the bus so we started chatting... I gave him a fake name (don't know why), but when he asked me where I lived and what I did I told himthe truth. Anyways, it turned out the guy was related to my relatives and he has worked out my lie.... the funniest things was that the name I gave him was my mothers lol (I just love her name). He had field trip with that one walaahi and told 'islaanta magaceeda ha ka qarxin' I felt really stupid.
  6. Wooohoooooo Nova girl.. thats hectic.. summed up our situation beautifully. We'll get there someday... and if we don't... I gave up caring!
  7. See her face to face first. I know this girl that decided to marry her net man before she actually saw him. The fisrt time she met him was the day he came her dad. Lets just say the deal was off... ~ouch~
  8. If the story is true, then it is out of order! They shouldn't be deporting innocent people for no reason.. Thats disgusting and goes against the whole principle of Somaliland and its constitution. I Personaly, would like to roam freely throughout Somalia, Somaliland and Puntland. However, we all know that its not really that simple, the people back home (and some in the west) will always hold on to their qabiilist bull - so we can't expect it to be gravey over night... Its not only somaliland that has that problem, I mean can anyone just go to Moqdishu? My friend went there last year and there are some areas where her tribe (not clan) can't go because it is occupied by another To go to the market they had to be accompanied by armed men. Thats sick... I mean wat does this say about our moralty and Islam? I guess, we are gonna have to sit back and wait.. May Allah guide us in sha Allah. MMA & Nuune- U can come and visit me in Burco - whenever I decide to go back there
  9. Plucking it entirely is Xaraam but some scholras say that you can 'clean it up'. But don't take my word for it... ama have to double check my source for that. I wanted to ask, since we are on the topic. I peircing ones belly button xaraam? Considering that nose and ear peircing isn't? Does anybody know of any fatwa's condeming that? My mate says it's xaraam cos you imitating the kufaar  I know someone interested in doing that, you see
  10. Muna lol Don't start on me now
  11. Rocks Chick and kool kat... welcome to my buddy list. If U is ever in my end of the woods give me a shout, aight. Barwaqo, Here, here, it's been a while. I'll call ya! It's a capitalist society, so we might as well huh? Ever been to Shoe Crazy up at Ilford, I hear Ur hooked on ya shoes... check it out sometime. Lakkad Sweety, U can try thats all that I am offering, no promises just that I'll give it a try. So what have U got in mind? I am for anything that doesnt involve the cutting of cards, my mate tried that ones... only the Lord knows what happened to him Hope I am not scaring ya. Muna Nayaa beenta badan jooji dee, or I'll sue your arse 4 making look like qof waalan! Hooyo sweety, Repeat after me: I am a shopaholic and I am proud Feeels good, right? P.S Muna told me what ya'll got upto on Monday, Tuesday and wednesday...
  12. Barwaaqo, how kind of you my dear. I suppose I ama have to take you out somewhere for your sweet words. I've already met my sexy londonite sistas.. wildcate (adorable), Barwaqo (sweet lady) and Avenging Angel (just love this girl). I can honestly say that the real McCoy is 100 times coooler! After that experience I would love to meet most of the forumers here. There are too many of ya'll to list. Maybe I'll hi-jack someones list! As for now (keeping it real like Abdinuur), I wouldn't mind meeting my Londonite brothers (and those sisters in hiding) also... maybe we can gate crush a wedding or something? What do you say girls and guys? Just a thought
  13. Allah Munaay U are sooo full of it ... Miss 'I am going to the next country for shopping" .. You are in a whole league of your own misus. don't even get me started on ya. Oh by the way welcome back to the forum your annoying presence is missed Hooyo Looks like U got a new adiction babes.. may be U exchange shopping with foruming? And a faarax on the dole... naa dhulku kula go'....wat sort of a mother are U gonna be like ... and kritikal-mind you ain't no help are U. Faarax bac ku xidhantahay ma digaarkaan ku sharaxan? At least a non-faarax miskiin would appreaciate some site seeing! Lakkad. Some truth there bro. I am a bit of a brat, but U got us all wrong walaal. I (and Hooyo) pay bills and I am helping out with people back home .. but I really don't see the point in having money sit in the bank... life is too damn short, what the point in being rich if U is dead? on a serious note tho. I don't think I have a problem... Spending and over spending is the way of life these days... U can't get away from it no matter.... chill guys, waa caadi... it's ur money, so teat it how U wanna! And a psychologist would only charge you for the service and hence make U spend more .... I'll say a lil prayer for ya'll!
  14. Hooyo! How could you say we are in it together when it is that is always inticing me to buy, I think our solution is to stop hanging with each other and with Muna too (don't act all quite and innocent girl, u know U is bad). I don't think I can give up shopping, I would go mad if I did. Shopping is a therapy to me, there is nothing more endearing then a new pair of jeans, scarf or a cute bag (I love these)... If I am bored, sad, depressed, it gives me the boost that I need. I mean is that really bad? Everyone has a 'balwad' addiction of some sort and ours just happens to be spending, does that make me crazy? It could be worse babes. I am in debt and that depresses me at times, but the sister needs to feel good. I can't give it up Hooyo, so maybe you should find me a rich young man that we'll take care off my expensive arse.... I might just buy you that watch you so loved. Abdinuur Those are good points bruv, might try it, except for the buying for the nomads, do u relise how large the nomad family is now? MMA lol@ Ayeeyos Rajabeeto from Victria's secrets. And, Levis jeans under macawiis lol U come out with the crazziest things, I always thought that you were a bit of a trend setter.
  15. Jamaal, thnx for the offer sweets. I might actually take you up on the offer, cos my baby bro can'y do it or maybe is pretending that he can't. And my phone doesn't have a composer. My girl said, I can send the tone from the net into my phone but she is oblivious as to how to go about it. Do you know anything about this? Or do I have to wait untill set up jamaals ringtones.com? And yeah, Londoners are running things
  16. Scorpion, I hear ya sis. It gets harder as U get older because for some strange reason some of the lads expect you to be more feminin but not to act all girly. I find that confusing.
  17. Jamaal, I love you man, I was getting sick of the nasty tune that I have. Ama get my lil bro to tap this into my phone with me (thats wat he's there for!). Thnx
  18. loooooooooooooool Miskin, I have to agree with you. However, that was not the team that I had in mind, apprently they didn't make it to the finals I was told (after dissing my mate about the ugly dudes online lol). Baydan sweety, your the ONLY one that can deal with him sis. The man is handfull girl, I gave up on him time ago. MMA, I am in no way inteding to offend you dear. Take it as sisterly love
  19. Most of my friends are guys. I used to be a tom-boy as a kid, so I find it hard to understamd girls, though this is beginning to change. I think it's possible and guy friends can proof somewhat handy at times.

Aabo (dad) we don't do kosher, we do Halaal. But, I think it's healthy to sit back and keep a low profile sometimes. Haniif That actually gave me an idea. if only that worked in real life, I guess my only refuge now is singining along wholeheartedly to Pink's, i don't want to be myself any more! on the net, I just join a new forum!
  21. Muslimah Love the reasons girl. But you know what, the brother is right to an extent, this is slowly becoming a common trend among muslims in the west. But it's all good there are plenty of Faarax's who still posses those old values to go arround. To each his own is all that I gota say. Salaamz
  22. I haven't read Islamic books lately.. but these are my favourits. 1. The Holly Quran. I love the Muhammad Muhsin Khan Translation because it's in mordern day English and contains relevant hadiths and some section on Tawheed, Jihaad etc. 2. The Book of Tawheed by Billal Philips 3. The Muslim Women's Handbook by Huda Khatab. 4. Raheeq Al Makhtum... the biography of the Prophet (saw) I also love books by Haruun Yahya.
