  1. I know you didn't have bad intentions. Xx
  2. Raamsade;873308 wrote: ^Blessed, walaal how can we say mabrook to someone who doesn't have the common courtesy to invite us to her wedding or at least make an official announcement on SOL. Doesn't she know some of us have put our whole life on hold pending her marriage announcement? Had she invited me I would've wholeheartedly accepted the invitation; I would go to the wedding in my latest wig and pantaloons with marduuf in my right hand and Charles Darwin's Origin of Species in my left hand . LoooL. I doubt your own sister would have that level of qaab xumo at her wedding. You don't have to say mabrook haday kugu adagtahay, just setting the confused Rudy in the right direction.
  3. I meant the lady gaga / lil kim reference. There arn't many serious fanaans these days.
  4. Why do you say that Ibts? Most fanaans tend not to associate themselves to one clan / region. Good on them, I say.
  5. Abtigiis, waa halkaan ku waday bal maxaa boodhka iyo ciida isugu kicinayzaa. You haven't read any of my comments on the Sayid, period! LOL NG. Maxaan inoo qaadaa?
  6. Hmm. That was not my point, however I don't think I've ever made disparaging remarks about the Sayid and his movement. And, what are the other issues?
  7. Simple minds can only absorb simple ideas, so to dear old Abtigiis, reer hebel of yesteryear were collective lackeys and reer hebel of today are collectively anti-Sayid. Somalis have all got a knack for rewriting history and misrepresnting today's events, ma istidhi?!
  8. Blue babes, try to be a little more sensitive here, you don't know if their relatives and friends are on the forum. And it's never a good idea to speculate on these things.
  9. ^caadi iska dhig, huuno and say a nice mabrook to Serenity.
  10. I hope she learns to live with herself. Can't imagine how painful it is to lose a sister. AUN and samir iyo imaan.
  11. ^you sound like my sis. LOL Juxa needs to be fined for her false baruur claims. Shan pound dhig nayaa.
  12. Ameen to the adciyaa. He is indeed a lucky man to have a beautiful, kind and smart girl in his life. Ng, it was more than bariis.
  13. Sorry, you've lost me there? Yaan difaacay ? What PM? I was referring to thread on Abdullahi Yusuf (aun).
  14. Maadey, waad la wayday but I'm glad inaad casharkii xasuusatay.
  15. Ku soo dhawoow to our wet, miserable city Jaamka! Certianly, exciting times for UCID and SL...

  17. ^I guess that's why they don't want women in Somali politics. Less musuqmaasaq opportunity. Good on you, Asha.
  18. Khadafi, Waad mahadsantahay for the long explanation, walaal. I grew up with Sufism around me and I do like their focus on tazkiyah and purity and read the sufi scholars works on these issues and their poetry speaks to my heart, so rest assured, I'm not hating as the athiest diradiraale here claims. Walaal, I find the xadro "qaab xumo" because it's loud and disjointed (I couldn't make sense of what they were saying - and yes I am curious) but also it's not based on any of the reported sunnah of our Messenger (saw), the best way to show out love for Him (SAW) is to imitate his manner of worship, InshaAllah. Apophis, LOL@you speaking of hateful commentary on matters of worship.
  19. ^Buy a kindle, Somali books or books related to Somalia are readily available from the Red Sea Online branch in Hargaisa. Eat Danish custard until it makes you sick, then you won't miss it. :p This sounds more like Abtigiis.
  20. May Allah have mercy on his soul. Samir iyo Iman to his family, friends and fans.
  21. [quote=Abtigiis;871995 That said, Blessed’s assertion that my predicament is to do with ‘decent girls’ setting ‘some standards’ is not supported by either theory or practice. Theoretically, I take the words of Oscar Wilde, that scandalized Irish poet, who suggested that ‘it is the ugly and the stu.pi.d who have the best of this world’ over the untested utterances of Marwo Blessed. So, even if I agree to the charge that I am of a lower standard, that shouldn’t be a barrier to get a decent girl. If Abdi Iley can have one, if Sheikh Sharif can get two, if my own friend Mo Jama can be beleaguered for attention by three, I should get one decent one chasing me. Come on! :D "What wild imaginations one forms where dear self is concerned! How sure to be mistaken"! Jane Austen p.s I've read this post on my way home when it was raining cats and dogs but instead of looking miserable, Abtigiis, I was grinning. It's not personal ina adeer, I'll have you know that I am very fond of odayaal who know their place. Juxa.. good luck with going home and be safe. Ibts. is a lovely hostess.
  22. It's not you Abtigiis, it's them. They have this strange illness called 'standards', these decent girls.

Alpha, if you'd like a taste of this "priceless experience", I could talk to my people for you... True, Malika.

Thats nice of you Narnia, my mum does the bank card thing, I'm always telling her off about it. I like odayaasha but wouldn't trust young Somalis as I was once attacked by a Somali drunk AFTER I helped him out, this skinny, dirty thing demands that I give him my number and when I tell him to eff off, he grabs my hands and tries to press me against the wall, I some how manage to push him and to my surprise like a rag doll he just falls to the ground, bal maxaa kalifay? Istupidh fool! .
