If I don't like a topic or the posters attitude.. I use the back button..it actually works! It seems people like to confront and take part in these repetitive topics whilst complaining about their existence. If a stupid topic gets no replies of any form (including the sarcy remarks) .. then I am sure the poster would evetually acknowledge that such things are not entertained here! However, to to make a contribution to a topic and complain about its existence is to me rather hypocritical. I think, Og Moti... The 'oldies' can help the situation by being helpful to the newbies .. not critical! If a topic is repeated maybe you can direct them to the old one... if their attitude is undesirable, maybe you can educate and not insult. This is the only website, where we have some form of civilty, I guess for some it takes a while to get used to. With, I think I've been more then helpful tata

Illmatic I'm with ya total crap. I can't believe ppl actually buy that. It is just waay too sensational, don't ya think? Through UNICEF, she went to London and was adopted by an Ethiopian family, who eventually gave her up. The family thought she might be a witch, according to Boof, because she was "so talkative and intelligent for a girl child." looooooooooooooooooooool this bit had me cracking up!

Originally posted by Afrikan.Theory: This theme of "qabiil is what destroyed our country," that's been circulating around lately is really pathetic. The Somali Republic as we knew it was NOT destroyed by qabiil or qabiils. It was destroyed by ignorance. Period! Like the brother above has stated, qabiil can be used positively in any number of ways. Qabiil has been around and will continue to be forever. We just gotta use it wisely instead of using it in a hurtful or negative way. Either way, I truly disagree with this notion that qabiil destroyed Somalia. Somalia was destroyed by bad leadership and pure ignorance on the part of the population. Peace... Well said. Theory, I just love your way of thinking. Qabiil is merely a scapegoate. People use it as a weapon to gain loyalty in order to meet their own interests. The shacab are just too ignorant to see it. Look at Nigeria, they have a million tribes, 300 languages and several religions but they are intact .. not perfect but in tact.

Who said she was Somali? Boof or what ever her name is, is just another of the wests puppets used as aids to this war on Islam. She gets to America to do her acting and they get another cheap blow at the muslims. Still doesn't change the fact that more educated women from the west are turning to Islam. Look on the bright side ya'll. This is free publicity for the Muslims It must be said though, Sudan and many other 'muslim' states practice laws the contradic the Islamic teachings. That is an issue that muslims need to deal with.

^^ Well argued my bro. However, considering the ideologies of the society we are now living, it is quite difficult to convince a lot of Somali youth.

In those days before Islam, women were treated like slaves or property. Their personal consent concerning anything related to their well-being was considered unimportant, to such a degree that they were never even treated as a party to a marriage contract. It is unfortunate, but we seem to be slowly sliding back to the jaahiliya days. Even in the so called liberated west women are treated as slaves / property. We need to go back to Islam. Nice one Muslim siter

I've seen Keynaan preform his poetry at a cultural event in London last year... He is extremely, extremely talented walaahi! I was just captivated by his poem and voice. Rayzak was also there but he came across as shy and was very quite .. cute Anyways, if you are in London you can purchase Ali D's latest mix which has Rayzak's song in it.

Cool article Suju n sososdef An interesting question no doubt, though by any reasonable standards it ranks well below a different one: why do we and our allies persist in our own substantial crimes, either directly or through crucial support for murderous clients? That remains unasked, and if raised at the margins, arouses shivers of horror. Makes you wonder ...

Or are you in the business of establishing a new moral imperative for this forum. Are debate, discussion, and argument interchangeble words? Notice you were part of these exhausting redundacies you seem to disdain now. Duality of some characters in this forum is getting apparent wallahi. No offence intended! I beg your pardon  I never said that you couldn't debate or discuss this issue. In fact, I have on occasions encaruaged such debates or exchange of ideas rather. However, It appears to me that certain individuals enjoy this constant ineffective and unhelpful back and forth argumentation. It is clear that the two sides will never see things the same way. So why not agree to disagree? These topics only severe the conflict between our people, if ya'll really want unity then it wouldn't kill to adopt uniting attitudes. Making covert qabiilist insinuations is really counter productive to peace and unity. Every year our leaders go on peace talks, every year they return without a solution. And you know why, it isn't due to our qabiil differences but our lack of tolerance and respect for each other and the lack of commitment to peace in the country. It is sad to see young and apprently educated nomads resorting to the same political crap that got us to this state in the first place. As for Independence and Unity .... Only time will tell! There is no need to argue and stress over something that we really don't have any controll over. Unless ya'll just wanna argue for the sake of arguement ... which is cool but must it be so repetitive?
