Salaams, ^^^^   Shaydaanka iska naar walaal. If you don't like his posts, try ignoring them. Now theres' a thought. I know NGONGE already suggested it.. but I needs repeating..leave each other alone. This is a discussion board for all MUSLIMS. I can respect you dis-liking the manhaj of salafis but subxanAllah, I don't know how your dameer allows you to call posts filled with ayats and ahadiith VOMIT? Salafi and Sade Jizaakum Allah for the articles.

Hmmmmmmmmmm! This work/artist is no longer available. I’m getting ^^^^ message. Maybe it was moved.... I'm not sure of the reason though. The Tate isn’t exactly famous for its sensitivity is it. I remember a few years back the Tate gallery London - featured a piece of 'art' consisting of a dissected pregnant cow which was preserved in a glass. I had to endure the ordeal of walking through this piece as my art teacher ‘ohhmed’ and ‘aaahed’. Bloody hippies, you’d think they’d be a little more humane. Anyhoot… the animal rights activities went crazy. Despite all the fuss, the Tate awarded that artist with prestigious Turner price that year...

They show some lovely Hassan Aden Samater videos - In concert. And some hilarious attempts at producing Music video clips…lol ya’ll need to see this. It comes on at 4pm in the UK and you have to have the Moden (I thinks that’s how you spell it) satellite service… They also go to the Universities and Hospitals in Somalia - which leaves me to question waxay dadkeeno ka qalaadaan (why do Somalis complain of poverty and ish). STN makes Somalia look like the place to be...

The yibir tribe are NOT JEWS. They are Muslims. It's rude to call them what they ain't! having said that, why does the thought of none-Muslim Somalis upset you? Somaliness doesn't guarantee Muslimness. Not every Somali is / has to be a Muslim.. you need to respect or if thats too much for you at least accept it...

^^^^^ I was going to do my 'yada' line, till you wrote this: The equality of men and women only really matters in Allah’s (swt) judgment. I’m not aware that they get a discount in this case. U is spirited blud, Allah bless! DA I don't think your doing justice to those sahabiyaat by referring to them as feminists. The feminist ideology rejects many tenets of our Islamic teachings, so it isn't fair to attach devout Muslim women to it. I think a woman can be strong, educated and active in her community with out ranting about the evils of men and society. If we indeed are equal - we'd have as much control of our situation as a man would. To say otherwise, you agreeing with notion of this being a man's world. I think, much of the misinterpretation of Islam on the part of some 'wadaads' is due to lack of will from Muslim women. How many female scholars are there.. not many! How many 'Aisha's' do you know, who would seek and teach Islamic knowledge. How many sisters do you know who would give up their time to fight for the cause of Islam.... not many! I think, we should focus less on what Faarax's say and more on what we want and how to get it and if it is in line with what OUR Creator requires of us as Muslim women. Everything else is secondary! Mrembo, Damn, I was feeling somewhat despondent on that day. We’re not that bad, but we aren’t as perfect as some would argue.

Lets just say a little 'yellow' bird told me! Allah, you is dangerous  NGONGE, I'm a little lost too, love. Between you and me *whispers* I think Northerner is gone a little soft in the head, talking to yellow birds.....'oh, dear'

Blessed replied to Truth Seeker's topic in Politics
A great deal of takfeer making in this thread... People, don't be so hastey in labeling Muslims kafirs and spreading rumours about dead scholars. I'm sure there is a better way of approaching this topic without getting involved in bashing the character of scholars you may not like... *sisterly advice...salaams! -

Off course not, 2004 UK dwellers have it so much easier; I mean the level of hostility faced by Mx was astounding. So what does that make us – lazy? Careless *breaks off.... DID YOU SAY you were getting me a jilbaab? Looks like one of my dreams has already come true Don't forget the accesories too.

America planned this man. It ain't shocking, they made it clear that they wanted destroy islam - how much more blatant can it get.... Every empire has an expiry date....The egyptians the Greeks all thought they were untouchable - but the decree of Allah destroyed them. We shouldn't lose focus / hope. Allah helps those who help themselves and those who seek His help. We talk a great deal and thats just about it... I mean how many of us even bother to make a quick online donation to the organisations helping Iraqi Orphans?

NGONGE I was talking about girls in jilbaabs. I’m not an Asian. I don’t like jalabis and I don’t want to wear a sarwal kameez. But since you've brought it up.. I'll add xalwad to my dream list Northerner, It was people who thought that he aught to have respected the law and those in authority and that it was a white mans country. So, they should just bite their lip and bare it; instead of creating unnecessary trouble. You know where I'm going with this, don’t ya? I'll stop being hostile - if you get me a present from T.dot

Originally posted by NGONGE: But you're so young, dear. No need to die for freedom. He was only talking. LOL! I wasn't talking of death. I repeat I wasn't talking of death. If the FBI is reading this, I am not on suicidal jihaad. It is forbidden in Islam. *phew* It was shame he got killed when he changed tactics though. he started talking of peace and 'bang'. Ilahay ha u naxriisto. Norf! Keep your cynical thoughts outa my face! I was reading in this book that many blacks opposed him - cos he stired 'unnecessary' trouble for black America. Dreams of a world filled with peace ...jilbaabis and justice .... and more jilbaabis

^^^He was Man Sha Allah. I love the way he didn’t take any old crap he was handed – not from the Authorities and not from his initial leader Elijah. Anyway, who is to say you only receive education in schools? There is this amazing Deschooling movement that argues that schools limit the human brain - it's fascinating. Just read one of his qoutes on Freedom and those that want it <--- feels better

*sighs* I give up! I'm gonna go and read me some Malik El Shabaaz articles to revive my spirit.....

A lot of people need to get away from this whole HT stigma, how many peole have really looked at the group, its literature, websites, campaigns, objective and made their opinon from that rather than listen to hearsay. How do you know that we didn't! At one point, I actually wanted to join the group. They fed my interests in politics and I like their energy. In the end I didn't for many reasons, but mainly because I disagreed with them on principles of Aqeedah. They have this strange stance on ahaada hadaaith. Where you affirm them but shouldn’t not believe in them, so for example; They say that you should seek refuge of the grave punishment because it’s mentioned in an authentic hadith but they don’t believe in it. Tawheed is not looked at holistically as the early scholars have - but they take a sub-category of it and place all their focus towards it. Then there the issue of loyalty - and again they have their own definitions and categorisations of it. I also, don't like their holier than thou approach to other Muslim groups - apparently if you appose them than your a heretic. Their book; 'The Methodology of Hizbu Tahriir for Change' arrogantly states - that groups who don't work towards khilaafa but focus on establishing Islamic centres, etc.. aren’t ‘really’ working for Islam. In fact I think everyone should read this booklet and make his or her mind up.

I got you. Despite being law abiding tax paying citizens we are none-the-less, less equal as humans. So should take their silly rules lying down. Sorry, not the attitude I'd want my kids to grow up with. Lets agree to disagree.. Interesting articles about British Muslim identity

Originally posted by mojam: story doesn't add up. how can a woman rape a man? Last time i checked all the action had to come from the man. It is hard to believe unless this guy was attracted to this so calling 'raping' women. I was thinking the same! Sorry if I'm being graphic here folkz. But wouldn't that be impposible physically as the man would have to be aroused - which is trigered voluntarily. So for him to get raped, there would have to be a certain level of willingness on his part.... Maha? Pearl loool! Acuudu bilaah, you bloody qomayo. Why u wishing that on our boys... waa naf yar is nacay, but they aint that bad ... take U down in 2 secs kulahaa..I say it again QUMAYO! Jokes aside - !! I've read some incredible stuff about Aids in South Africa - I don't know if the press is nit picking crazy stories... I'm reading about todlers getting raped by passers by - whole villages infected with HIV... may Allah protect us all.
