Lol. Sophistafuncated. I did see one photo yesterday, Sweets. SOL won‘t allow you to post images like that. You have to upload them onto a photo sharing website like photo bucket, image shack (but no flicker pleas as I'm living in an anti-flicker country). And then post the image link that website gives you on here.

TallPoppy. Your words are falling on deaf ears, love. Haday dhuusto, there'll be a thread about it.

JT INTERVIEW: Voice of a Somali Christian from Somalia
Blessed replied to Jacaylbaro's topic in General
^You’ve totally missed the point but whatever you say my truly Muslim brother. Do you know Somalis don't even makeup 1% of the global Muslim population...! LOL. I'm not interested in Johnny and Cara. MMA, I don't know what you're talking about. Malaysia is a multi-ethnic country where many religions besides Islam (the state religion) are followed by the Malaysians. Bosinians were a Muslim minority ethnic group living amongst NoneMuslims. A Somali that leaves Islam is not going to forget the language, the culture (which is largely un-Islamic to begin with) nor will they start growing hairs on their forehead. We were idol worshipping cawaan before Islam came to us. WTH. We’re still idol (qabiil)worshiping cawaans even with Islam in our midst, or have you not noticed? -
Napoleon is a true Muslim, he actually makes da'wah against gang-culture to the youth. I think for some rapping about Islam helps some of them sell to a wider audience. However, many Afro-Americans feel affiliated with Islam in the historical context, it‘s a going back to roots exercise. May Allah guide them.

^You can watch it on youtube. Only two of the actors (Amaar and Baarber) are Muslim. It's a pop Islaam kinf of thing but pretty funny!

JT INTERVIEW: Voice of a Somali Christian from Somalia

^True, but there's a difference between a christian and an apostate, hon. Anyway, maxaad tishi, you haven't seen a whahaabi? Well, I'm a wahaabi, so ima arkaysid. This is what a wahaabi looks like. LOL. MMA, This Somalinimo waa Islaam sheeko of yours naga qalee. Somaalia was before Islam came to us and our people still love their dhaqan and qolos more than Allah and His deen. Ethnicity has nothing to do with faith. Khalaf, This idea that Islam is in the west that some Muslims run with needs to be put to rest. It's lame. If you want to live with gaalo and have them tolerate you, be blessed. However great the west is, it still has nothing on a place where the Name of Allah is invoked 5 times a day. -
LOL@Faarax! I wonder what the English would do if they didn't smash the cry-baby Ausies.

^Rahima does have a point. We don't only need professionals in Somalia but also in the diaspora. My next door neighbours son plays for the Arsenal Youth team, he has mad talent but he's dad is still very adamant that he does well in his studies and has a career to fall back on. The sports field is very competitive, one foot wrong and any signs of weakness and you are out, forgotten. It’s not very easy for black kids to get through so even if they pursue their sports and are successful, they’ll still need an alternative as it’s short lived. You see the great Gaza go from being a household name one minute to a broke ‘have been’ the next. I agree with Lazy on supporting the kids though, Those who have the talent, ambition and drive can have both but they also need a lot of support, an adult to motivate them and keep them focused when on bad days. My neighbour was saying how whenever he goes to games, the white kids have their parents, siblings, aunts, uncles and grandparents there to support them, even for small games but black parents would barely turn up..

^Naa say, Aamiin! Have you heard wuxu isagu dadka ku habaaro? 'Calooshu ku socotay oo xaarku kugu dhag' I couldn't be that mean NG, There's a rumour going around, that you actually do get 'extras' in your meals in your old hometown.
-
^LOL! Just being teas*amentive, dear. You're right about the stories.
-
^ Calooshu ku socotay!
-
^Hey! *muwaah* No joke, obesity is becoming a huge problem in the ME. It has nothing to do with those tradisional dishes either, the usual culprits have come here.
-
^LOL! Why are you bringing back all the love story threads. Something you want to tell me...
-
Ewwwwwwwwww@ Ngonge! KoolKat Loool! I guess you've never had mandi. Seasoned meat with (surbiyaan like) rice. It's tastes so fantastic that it doesn't need to look good. When you come to Dubai, I'll take you to a Yemeni. Canada aad uga soo baaqi, mark my words..

Wow..The Spanish cook their Paella like that at some festivals. It's very interesting. I bet alot of it goes to waste though. *craving Mendi*
-
^ Where are the other two? The blame on the Amxaars is a little over-played, though. Ngonge, It probably wouldn't. I'm starting to think Kasparov talks of nationalism of another Somalia. p.s I heard of your theory on when Somalis will rule of the world.. I fully agree.

Sit back, relax and see the outcomes, eh me? I'm guessing you have never seen what war does to people, never seen a mother cry over her child, never seen displaced hungry women with their children, orphaned kid or maybe you're simply too retarded to process those images in your brain. Things will probably settle down as they always do in that area (sorry to be a bearer of such disapointing news). Still, I've never read anything more sadistic, acuudu bilaah.

^^Yaa Allah! You're expectations of our people is too high, walaal. Bal yaa uga cararey maskaxda ay ku fakarilahaayeen? Dhiiga dadkooda ayaa uga macaan ka gaalka dalkoodi iyo dadkoodi bahdilaya. Yaa Allah, I ask you in all your Beautiful Names to deliver my people from their barbaric ignorance!

^Suicidal, indeed! I wouldn’t recommend it. I’ve had a complicated labour which ended in a caesarean because my baby was distressed. She had difficulty breathing, it was so scary. You can opt for a home birth with a community midwife if you don’t like the hospital environment.

^Hear, hear! Thus spoke the warrior queen. This fight over an entity whose people are alive and kickin g is just silly and I honestly think that letting go of LA will help further the SL cause.
-
^LOL. How would you revamp it?

Good topic Dhucdhuc, These verses also deal with the issues raised, it's not enough to merely attest faith but believe manifests in our actions and devotions to Islam. The bedouins say: "We believe." Say: "You believe not but you only say, 'We have surrendered (in Islâm),' for Faith has not yet entered your hearts. But if you obey Allâh and His Messenger (SAW), He will not decrease anything in reward for your deeds. Verily, Allâh is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful." Only those are the believers who have believed in Allâh and His Messenger, and afterward doubt not but strive with their wealth and their lives for the Cause of Allâh. Those! They are the truthful. (Al-Hujurat 49: 14/15) Dahia, That is my favourit ayaah, it gives me an instant high whenever I'm feeling low.
