Assalaamu alaykum, The Month of Mercy, the Month of Forgiveness awaits us. Here are some useful last minute preparatory measures: - Learn/review the Dua for breaking the fast. Stick it up on your fridge for your kids and family members to memorize it as well. DUA FOR BREAKING THEFAST The thirst is gone, the veins are moistened and the reward is confirmed, if Allaah wills. To read the dua with the hrakah/transliteration, click here. - Learn the special dua that Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to recite during the last 10 nights of Ramadan: Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, said: I asked the Messenger of Allah: 'O Messenger of Allah, if I know what night is the night of Qadr, what should I say during it?' He said: 'Say: O Allah, You are pardoning and You love to pardon, so pardon me.' "(Ahmad, Ibn Majah, and Tirmidhi). The transliteration of this Dua is "Allahumma innaka `afuwwun tuhibbul `afwa fa`fu `annee" · - Create a Ramadan check list. It is always a good idea to keep track of our daily ibadah progress so that we don't slack especially during the middle of Ramadan. Anything measured improves, so measure your righteous deeds during these blessed days. - Create a ramadaan list / calender@ Ramadan Reminders . Great site! -Check your heart: If we don't humble our heart during this month of mercy, then when will we? Only a purified heart will be entered into Paradise. Let us stop making excuses and work on our heart for a change. Download your personal heart journal at www.heartwheeljournal.com and print it out. -Read the Fiqh of Fasting. Unsure about some of the rulings regarding menstruation, taraweeh prayers, the things that nullify the fast and similar issues? If so, then read it up & remove your doubts before Ramadan. Fasting is one of the pillars of Islam- we cannot afford to be ignorant about it. Click here to have your questions answered: htp://www.islamqa.com/en/cat/295 - Renew your intentions: Ask your self - What are my inner feelings for greeting this month? Am I sad because I wont be able to indulge in my desires; am I excited because I can do Ramadan -tent- hopping all night long; or am I delighted because - this is my chance to win Allaah's Pleasure, to be saved from the horrors of hellfire, and to have all my sins forgiven!? What are your thoughts and feelings in greeting Ramadan? Check your heart. Even though we may hide our feelings - even from our selves, Allaah hears our deepest thoughts. Lets renew our intention now for surely, we are rewarded according to our intentions. -Schedule a personal Ramadan plan: If you are overwhelmed with what to do, and what not to do during these precious days, then keep in mind these 5 key activities that should be in place: o Fasting: i. Fasting of food/drink/sexual intercourse during the day. ii.Fasting of our tongue – i.e. fasting from lies/ill speech/backbiting and any speech that is hateful to Allah. iii. Fasting of our eyes/ears/rest of the limbs – i.e. refrain from using them in any way that is displeasing to Allah iv. Fasting of our heart - Keep our thoughts clean and our heart focused on seeking the pleasure of Allah. o Qiyaam: Stand in Qiyaam/Taraweeh during the blessed nights of Ramadan, and do NOT miss any of the 5 obligatory prayers. o Quran: This month is our chance to devote and bond ourselves with the Words of Allah. Seize this opportunity to read, reflect and act upon the Quran. o Suhoor: Do not leave this sweet sunnah. Our beloved Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Take Sahur as there is a blessing in it."(agreed upon) . o Iftar: Hasten to break your fast, and supplicate to Allah while doing so. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "The people will continue to be in a good state of affairs as long as they hasten the breaking of the fast." (Agreed upon) - Prepare/modify your*dua list*. Craving for something that you do not have? Well, this is the month to ask for it! Write a dua list for all that you desire - in this world and the hereafter. Send this last minute measures list to others, and gain tons of ajer, inshaAllah!! May we all be blessed with a truly memorable Ramadan- one that is the most beloved to Allah, ameen!

You thought they didn't have hair? God, they must have had a mass bad bang day. Anyway, so what if the majority of the women were doning hijaab. It is a Muslim country, what did you expect? To be met at the airport by flower girls shaking their bazookas? Waad iska hadlaysaa. I'm tempted to ask why you didn't stay away from the kitchen.. but I won't.

References: The Noble Qur'aan, Tafseer Ibn Katheer, the book, 'al-Khushoo' and informative Answers by Shaikh S. al-Munajjad, Lying or Envying by Abdul Malik al-Qasim, and others "Successful indeed are the believers. Those who with their Salaat (prayers) are Khashi'oon. And those who turn away from al-Lagw. And those who pay the Zakaat. And those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts). Except from their wives or (captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, - for then, they are free from blame; but whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors; those who are faithfully true to their Amanah and to their covenants; and those who strictly guard their Salaat. These are indeed the inheritors. Who shall inherit the Firdaus, they shall dwell therein forever." [soorah al-Muminun (23): 1-11] Allah mentions the qualities of the believers who are blessed and have attained victory. The first quality is, "Those who with their Salaat (prayers) are Khashi'oon (those who possess Khushoo)" "Al-Khushoo means calmness, serenity, tranquility, dignity, and humility." [Tafseer Ibn Katheer, Dar al-Sha'ab Edition, (6/ 414)] Ibn Abbas t explained Khashi'oon to mean, with fear and tranquility. [At-Tabaree (19: 9)] Al-Khushoo is a necessary component of Salaat. Shaikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahullah) said concerning the verse, "Seek help in patience and Salaat and truly it is extremely heavy and hard except for the Khashi'oon (those who possess al-Khushoo)." [soorah al-Baqarah (2): 45] "This (verse) implies condemnation of those who are not Khashi'oon... Condemnation only applies when something obligatory is not done, or when something forbidden is done. If those who do not have Khushoo are to be condemned, this indicates that Khushoo is obligatory." [Majmoo al-Fatawa (22/553-558)] Khushoo is very easily lost and Allah's Messenger r said: "The first thing to be lifted up (taken away) from this Ummah will be Khushoo; until you will see no one who has Khushoo." [(Saheeh) - Saheeh at-Targheeb no: 543] The site of Khushoo is in the heart and heart is the king of the limbs, so if one intends to pray wholeheartedly the limbs will follow the heart as Allah says: "And seek help in patience and Salaat and truly it is extremely heavy and hard, except for Khashi'oon." [soorah al-Baqarah (2): 45] The meaning is that the burden of prayer is heavy indeed; except for those who have Khushoo. [Tafseer Ibn Katheer (1/125)] To attain Khushoo one must forget everything about the world and concentrate in the prayer acts, reciting the Qur'aan and thinking of the verses one reads and bearing death, grave and the torment in mind so that he never looses concentration. Imam Ibn Katheer writes, 'Khushoo is gained by the fear of Allah and the sense that He is always watching.' [Tafseer Ibn Katheer, Dar al-Sha'ab Edition, (6/ 414)] "And those who turn away from al-Lagw" refers to falsehood, which includes Shirk and any words or deeds that are of no benefit. Allah's Messenger (sallallahu alaihe wa-sallam) said: "Out of a person being good Muslim is his leaving alone, what does not benefit him." [at-Tirmidhee] and: "Let he who truly believes in Allah and the Last Day speak good or be silent." [saheeh al-Bukharee] Imam Ahmed (rahimahullah) reported in his Musnad, "The faith of a man cannot be straight unless his heart is straight, and his heart cannot be straight, unless his tongue becomes straight." [Musnad Ahmed] It was from the manners of the Sahabah to speak very little. Abdullah Ibn Mas'oud (radiyallahu anhu) said: "By the One other than whom there is no God on this earth there is no one more deserving of long imprisonment that the tongue." [at-Tabaranee] and Abu Tharr (radiyallahu anhu) said: "Adopt silence, this is the way of causing Shaytan to run away; it is a supporter to you in the matter of your religion." [Musnad Ahmed]"And those who pay the Zakaat" Imam Ibn Katheer (rahimahullah) writes in his Tafseer, "Most commentators say that the meaning here is the Zakaat that is paid on wealth, even though the verse was revealed in Makkah, and Zakaat was ordained in al-Medina in the year 2.H. The apparent meaning is that the Zakaat that was instituted in al-Medina is the one based upon the Nisaab (the minimum level of wealth which dictates a person's obligation of Zakaat). And the specific amount, apart from which it seems that the basic principle of Zakaat was enjoined in Makkah. As Allah says in Soorah al-An'aam, which was also revealed in Makkah: "but pay the due thereof on the day of their harvest." [soorah al-An'aam (6): 141] It could be that what is meant here by Zakaat is purification of the soul from Shirk and filth, as in the verse: "Indeed he succeeds who purifies himself (Zakkaha). And indeed he fails who corrupts himself." [soorah (91): 9-10] It could be that both meanings are intended, purification of the soul and one's wealth, because that is part of the purification of the soul, and the true believer is one who pays attention to both matters. And Allah knows best.""And those who guard their chastity. Except from their wives or that their right hands possess, for then, they are free from blame; But whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors" means those who protect their private parts from unlawful actions; fornication and homosexuality, and do not approach anyone except the wives whom Allah has made permissible for them or their right hand possession from the female slaves. Allah says "they are free from blame. But whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors." Zina (fornication/adultery) is one of the major sins, concerning which Allah and His Messenger (sallallahu alaihe wa-sallam) have issued stern warnings. "…come not near to Zina. Verily, it is Fahishah (immoral sin) and an evil way." [soorah al-Isra (17): 32] Similarly, Allah has also made homosexuality Haraam (prohibited) and it is against the natural inclination (fitrah) which Allah has placed in man, whereby the male is inclined towards female and vice versa. Going against the fitrah has caused man diseases like AIDS, which attack the immune system in human and cause death. Moreover, it has also caused breakups in families. The Prophet (sallallahu alaihe wa-sallam) said: "There is nothing I fear for my Ummah more than the deed of the people of Loot." [At-Tirmidhee (1457) Authenticated by Shaikh al-Albanee in Saheeh al-Jamee (1552)] "And (remember) Loot when he said to his people, 'Do you commit al-Fahishah (evil, great sin, every kind of unlawful sexual intercourse, sodomy) while you see (one another doing evil without any screen) Do you practice your lusts on men instead of women? Nay, but you are a people who behave senselessly.' There was no other answer given by his people except that they said: 'Drive out the family of Loot from your city. Verily, these are men who want to be clean and pure!' So We saved him and his family, except his wife. We destined her to be of those who remained behind. And We rained down on them a rain (of stones). So evil was the rain of those who were warned." [soorah al-Naml (27): 54-58] These verses refer to the punishment that befell the people of Loot. He (sallallahu alaihe wa-sallam) said: "Whoever of you finds (someone) doing the deed of the people of Loot, kill the one who does it and the one to whom it is done." [At-Tirmidhee (1456) Authenticated by Shaikh al-Albanee in Saheeh al-Jamee (6589)] Ibn al-Qayyim (rahimahullah) said: "Both of them - fornication and homosexuality - involve immorality that goes against the wisdom of Allah's creation and commandment. For homosexuality involves innumerable evil and harms, and the one to whom it is done would be better off being killed than having this done to him, because after that he will become so evil and so corrupt that there can be no hope of his being reformed, and all good is lost for him, and he will no longer feel any shame before Allah or before His creation…The scholars differed as to whether the one to whom it is done will ever enter Paradise. There are two opinions which I heard Shaikh al-Islam (rahimahullah) narrate." [al-Jawaab al-Kafi, p.115]"Those who are faithfully true to their Amanah and to their covenants" Meaning, when they are entrusted with something, they do not betray that trust, but they fulfill it, and when they make a promise or make a pledge, they are true to their word. This is not like the hypocrites about whom the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alaihe wa-sallam) said: "The signs of the hypocrite are three: when he speaks he lies; when he makes a promise he breaks it; and when he is entrusted with something he betrays that trust." [Fath al-Baree (10: 522)] Allah says in Soorah an-Nisa, "Verily, Allah commands that you should render back the trusts to those, to whom they are due…" [soorah an-Nisa (4): 58] Those who do not return the trust in this life, it will be taken from them on the Day of Resurrection, when there will be no Dirham nor Deenar but only good and bad deeds to give back the rights!! Allah's Messenger (sallallahu alaihe wa-sallam) said: "The rights will be rendered back to those to whom they are due, and even the sheep that does not have horns will take revenge from the horned sheep." [saheeh Muslim (4): 1097] Other scholars have explained the Amanah in this verse to mean, all the duties which Allah has ordained, honesty, moral responsibility and trusts, etc. based on the Hadeeth of Hudhaifah (radhiyallahu anhu) who narrated: Allah's Messenger (sallallahu alaihe wa-sallam) said to us: "Certainly, al-Amanah (the trust or moral responsibilities, etc. and all the duties which Allah has ordained) descended from the Heaven and settled in the roots of the hearts of men (faithful believers), and then the Qur'aan was revealed and the people read the Qur'aan (and learnt al-Amanah from it) and also learnt it from the Sunnah. [both the Qur'aan and As-Sunnah strengthen their (the faithful believer's) Amanah.]" [saheeh al-Bukharee (vol. 9, no. 381)] "and those who strictly guard their (five compulsory congregational) Salaat (prayers) (at their fixed stated hours)" Allah, the Exalted, again mentions preserving of Salaat as one of the characteristics of the successful believer which shows the importance and virtue of Salaat. Ibn Mas'oud (radhiyallahu anhu) narrated, 'I asked Allah's Messenger (sallallahu alaihe wa-sallam): 'O Messenger of Allah, which deed is most beloved to Allah?' He said: 'Prayer at the appointed time.' I said: 'Then what?' He said: 'Kindness to parents.' I said: 'Then what?' He said: 'Jihad in the way of Allah.' [saheeh Muslim (vol.1, no.89)] Allah's forgiveness and pleasure is closely related to the prayers. The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alaihe wa-sallam) said, "Allah has obligated five prayers. Whoever excellently performs their ablutions, prays them in their proper times, completes their bows, prostrations and Khushoo has a promise from Allah that He will forgive him. And whoever does not do that has no promise from Allah. He may either forgive him or punish him." [Musnad Ahmad, Abu Dawood and others. Authenticated by Shaikh al-Albanee in Saheeh al-Jamee, vol.1, p.616] and: "The first matter that the slave will be brought to account for on the Day of Judgment is the prayer. If it is sound, then the rest of his deeds will be sound. And if it is bad, then the rest of his deeds will be bad." [at-Tabaranee. Authenticated by Shaikh al-Albanee in Saheeh al-Jamee vol.1, p.503] He (sallallahu alaihe wa-sallam) compared the five daily prayer by five daily baths, which leave no filth on the body. Similarly, one who prays five times a day will become free of the filth of sins. "If a person had a stream outside his door and he bathed in it five times a day, do you think he would have any filth left on him?" The people said, "No filth would remain on him whatsoever." The Prophet (sallallahu alaihe wa-sallam) then said, "That is like the five daily prayers. Allah wipes away the sins by them." [saheeh al-Bukharee] "Verily, the prayer keeps one from the great sins and evil deeds." [soorah al-Ankaboot (29): 45] "Verily, man was created impatient, irritable when evil touches him and niggardly when good touches him. Except for those devoted to prayer those who remain devoted in their prayers…" [soorah al-Maarij (70): 21-23] "These are indeed the inheritors. Who shall inherit the Firdaus, they shall dwell therein forever" After mentioning the characteristics of the successful believer, Allah gives them the good news of Firdaus. Allah's Messenger (sallallahu alaihe wa-sallam) said: "If you ask Allah for Paradise, then ask him for Firdaus, for it is the highest part of Paradise, in the middle of Paradise, and from it spring the rivers of Paradise, and above it is the (Mighty) Throne of the Most Merciful." [Fath al-Baree (13: 415)] Abu Hurayrah (radhiyallahu anhu) said: "The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alaihe wa-sallam) said: "There is not one among you who does not have two homes; a home in Paradise and a home in Hell. If he dies and enters Hell, the people of Paradise will inherit his home, and this is what Allah said: 'These are indeed the heirs.'" [ibn Majah (2): 1453] http://www.islamhouse.com/p/52928

Suldaanka, I don't think so, walaal. They were written by different folks. But, the first was autobiographical and talked about his life. This second one focuses mostly on his new poetry.

^Ameen. Dhubad, They need to know just the type of man Khaled Yassin is. He's not one of those id*iots (Abu Hamza and co) that don't have the love and respect of the community. It doesn't matter if they act on it... In fact if you go back to his response, he said: It doesn't really matter, what part you choose to mutilate, the response in it's entirety will be broadcast on seventeen television platforms around the world, and made available to hundreds of magazines and periodicals, for their comparison edification. I will utilize my relationship with these media platforms to counter your evil intent. This is going to be fun, Insha Allah!

Actually, Unkown1. Might be unto something. I'm sure he's talking about Musims who live Islam. Here's what happened in Rawanda.. What really inspired me - more than the story of this orphan teenage convert who memorized the Quran in the midst of a civil war, which in iteslf is a beautiful story - is that the percentage of Muslims in Rwanda has doubled following the horrible massacres of 1994-6. Why? Because Muslims did not participate in the massacres, established a reputation of peace, and were active in humanitarian aid in the aftermath. Hence, Rwandans actually respect Islam for its beautiful image. Read more.. Same story in None-Muslim press. Washington Post New York Times

I love Shaikh Khaled. I remember reading a transcript he gave a radio station in Australia about the Sharia. Very polite and articulate, Masha Allah. He wants the chance to do it again. I doubt these ****** will change their approach to the Muslim community but I think that we should at least let them know how we feel.

^Thanks bro. Don't forget to pass it on aswell.

^Good thing your not a Muslim sister then or I'd tell ya to go and educate yourself. I don't and that's all that matters.

Ashkiro , I totally agree with your thoughts on Amina Wuduud and gang. The women outright rejects ahadith and turns around and uses a dodgey, weak, vague hadith to pull this stunt. Subhan Allah. I know the Mosque your talking about, that area is pretty run down and those Mosques only serve the purpose of providing prayer space for the shoppers. In residential areas, Masjids are pretty much a community center, providing Quraan classes for both men and women. There's also equal access for both. Even in those ru down Mosques that you've visited. I've never been turned away from a Masjid in the ME and I've lived in a few countries here but have been on several occasions in London. I do realise that it's unfair to compare Mosques in the Muslim world to those in the West as the former are government funded and maintained and so aren't cash strapped. However, I do find that there's a difference in attitude (esp. in some that are run by a specific ethnic group), many in the west use the excuse that Username came out with. That women should pray at home. End of. Even if that is the recommendation (and I see the exemption as privilege, personally) , it was the Prophet (saw) sunnah to lead women in prayer in his masjid, to provide circles for them in the Masjid and to deal with their religious / worldly concerns in the Masjid. That is the purpose of the Masjid. Moving away from the Masjid.. The other points raised by the sister can be resolved by balancing Islamic scholarship. The early Muslim communities had as many female scholars as men, the women were outspoken, active in dawah and the community. We're really as much to blame as the men. P.s only read one of her posts on the Somali V BAM posts. Interesting.

14/08/08 Dear Mr. Smith: I am replying to you only as a courtesy, and not because I am concerned about your intended broadcast. I expect, in fact, I am certain, that your intended broadcast, will contain the usual anti-Islamic rhetoric and soundbites that are designed to provoke an already conditioned public into a fear about the Islamic system, and a fear and contempt for Muslims in general. As for the constant use of the words "intolerant" and "extremism", I think that you, and your colleagues at Channel 4, or HardCash Productions, have been indelibly and consistently exhibiting the most vehement and malicious religious intolerance and journalistic extremism, of nearly anyone in the entire television industry of the United Kingdom! Not only are you inaccurate, but you are scandalous, unethical and merchants of jounalistic vomit. Your motives are not morally driven, nor aimed at the intellectualization of your viewers. Rather, you are resorting to the use of cheap sensational journalism, to exploit an unaware and pre-conditioned public, in order to make the "bottom line" profit that sustains your "Channel 4 - HardCore" vomit factory. Your allegations of my statements on a DVD, titled "Building a Muslim Community", and I must say allegations, because, in every lecture, writing, or communication of any kind, there is something called the "context", which can only be appreciated when someone objectively, sincerely, and intellectually, forms an opinion, after making a comprehensive and thorough examination. I want to remind you, that capital punishment, including, but limited to: decapitation, lethal injection, firing squad, gas chamber, electrocution, and hanging by the neck, has been, and is still resorted to by Governments and States throughout the modern world as both a punishment and a deterrent for criminal behavior in the society. It is not a practice limited to Muslim countries, whether past or present. Whatever statements I made in that lecture was aimed at reforming the Muslim people, the Muslim society, and the Muslim world, to know that Islam is not merely a system of religious rituals and theological observances, but is a comprehensive system of Law and Justice, legislated by Almighty God, and adjudicated by the Sovereign Islamic State, when there exists such a state. Due to historically documented conspiracies between criminal Muslim States and the immoral empirical ambitions of countries like Great Britain (as the United Kingdom was referred to at that time) and the United States of America, the legitimate ambition to have and sustain a Sovereign Islamic State in the world, has been almost completely annihilated and in most Muslim countries today, criminalized. If you call yourselves educating and alarming the UK society about radical, Saudi-based intolerance and extremism, why are you using my alleged words "to Muslims", "about Muslims" and the reformation and development of their countries and societies, to make your *******ized point? I have visited Saudi Arabia for Hajj and Umrah, and yes, I have learned some Arabic there, but does that make me a purveyor of what you characterize for your illicit media purposes as a "Saudi - based theology based upon intolerance, separatism, and extremism? Suppose you or some other "good Christian visited Ireland, and studied their language, would that itself an indictment of your support for what used to be at one time, the very criminal, intolerant, separatist, and extremist Irish Republican Army? Of couse not! So why the double and blatantly hypocritical standards? I am not, and have never been a supporter or a promoter of Saudi Arabian government policy or religious rhetoric, and most objective intellectuals in the world of multi-media would know that, except you and your ignorant Islamophobic colleagues. As for the alleged promise of the bookstore in the Islamic Cultural Centre at the Regents Park Mosque, to stop selling my DVD's based upon your now very infamous "Dispatches Series", titled: "Undercover Mosques", if they made such a promise,(which I have no evidence that they did) that would have been very shameful, cowardly, unIslamic, and unconstitutional! Firstly, because that bookstore is privately owned, and secondly, because it is the constitutional right of every person in a free and democratic society like the United Kingdom, to express any view they wish, so long as it is not politically seditious, inciting hatred, promoting violence, maligning or attacking any lifestyle or religion, or seeking to commit or conspire to commit, any act of terrorism. I can say without the least reservation - I have never, and will never knowingly support or advocate any such behavior! Why doesn't "Channel 4, and your HardCore", "Hard4Cash" Group, collaborate and review some of the hundreds of magazines and periodicals that are sold on newstands and bookstores all over the United Kingdom and Europe, promoting and endorsing, pornography, gambling, pedophilia, bestiality, violent sports, mercenary activities, bigotry, and other forms of unsocial behaviors? Why... because, the simple fact is that it freedom of speech, even though most of it is clearly immoral and socially destructive! You and your colleagues are not only hypocritical and exploitive bigots, you are audacious liars and opportunistic media vermin, who have never allowed anyone whom you attack, the chance to respond on your actual television platform, which is the subject of my concluding remarks. You has cleverly invited me to respond in writing, to what you will be broadcasting by television. What you don't say, is that you will pick and choose from even that written response, to try to find further flaws and ammunition for your "stealth attack" and character assassination! It doesn't really matter, what part you choose to mutilate, the response in it's entirety will be broadcast on seventeen television platforms around the world, and made available to hundreds of magazines and periodicals, for their comparison edification. I will utilize my relationship with these media platforms to counter your evil intent. In addition to that, I am challenging "Channel 4 and Hard4Cash (or HardCore) Ltd. to an unedited open-ended interview, to discuss my views and responses to their media productions, past and present! If you do not accept, hundreds of millions viewers will be aware of your one-sided, prejudicial campaigns against Islam and Muslims! I await your response, whatever it may be... Shaykh Khalid Yasin Chairman Purpose Media Group

"Hardcash Productions Ltd" wrote: BY FAX, EMAIL AND POST Private and Confidential 12 August 2008 Dear Sheikh Yasin, Dispatches TX. 1 September 2008 Hardcash Productions is an independent production company making a programme for Channel 4's current affairs series Dispatches, which is due to be broadcast on 1 September 2008. The film investigates claims that the Saudi Arabian religious establishment, with the involvement of the Saudi Arabian government, is promoting a theology of intolerance, separatism and extremism around the world and, in particular, in Britain. As part of the investigation, we have looked into the activities of some mainstream British Islamic organisations which have strong links to the Saudi Arabian religious establishment and government. As you are aware, in a Dispatches investigation in January 2007 entitled Dispatches: Undercover Mosque, undercover reporters purchased DVDs of your speeches at the official bookshop of the Islamic Cultural Centre and London Central Mosque. These DVDs contained intolerant comments aimed at the beliefs of Jews and Christians, and claims that AIDS was a Western and Christian plot. At the time, the ICC promised to remove your speeches from the bookshop pending an investigation into the content, but our reporters have returned and found they continue to sell your works. They bought a number of titles by you which continue to contain similar radical, intolerant comments. In particular, we intend to include within our programme the following comments by you in a DVD entitled "Building a Muslim Community", copyright "One Islam Productions", in which you praise the beheadings practised in Saudi Arabia, saying: "At least I say, we Muslims should have that kind of power all over the world". You say Muslims all over the world should have the power to implement an extreme version of sharia law, which includes public beheadings, amputations, lashings and crucifixions, saying; "and then people can see, people without hands, people can see in public heads rolling down the street, people can see in public people got their hands and feet from opposite sides chopped off and they see them crucified, they see people get punished they see people put up against the pole ?.. and because they see it, it acts as a deterrent for them because they say I don't want that to happen to me". We intend to include your comments within the programme in the context of revealing that the ICC/Regents Park Mosque official bookshop continues to sell material which is promoting a radical, intolerant ideology which, amongst other things, promotes an extreme version of sharia law practised in Saudi Arabia. We also note in the film that you learned Arabic in Saudi Arabia. Assalamu Alaikum, Channel 4 plans to air a show on Saudi involvement in UK Da'wah on the 1st of September (lovely Ramadaan gift). The show as with all their programmes is pretty much one sided and heavily edited. Shaikh Khalid Yassin, whose views have been taken out of context has challenged them to a open ended interview.. You can read his letter here (third post). Please show your support by sending an email / letter to Hardcash. Pass this on to as many people as possible. Read more about it here: www.challengeyoursoul.com We urge all members & readers of this topic to fill out the following template with your name and send to the following emails: hardcash@hardcashproductions.com JTomalin@channel4.co.uk ksutcliffe@channel4.co.uk nigel.abbas@btinternet.com Template: ---------------------------------------------------- Dear Hardcash production, I, the undersigned, call on hardcash production, to cease and desist your continuous development of Islamophobic and Xenophobic programmes. Furthermore I demand that hardcash production broadcast a Live and unedited interview with Shaykh Khalid Yasin, where you can pose these allegations directly to the Shaykh and allow him the opportunity to respond in an appropriate and fair manner. Best regards,

Not many educated women in Somalia and those who are don't want to get their hands dirty. So, we're stuck with pregnant looking cretinous odayaal.

^LOL@ growing a beard. I've started using an organic shampoo and conditioner only a few months ago (mine is from a brand called Original Source) and my hair has more than doubled in volume. Alhamdulilah. Also, try hot olive oil treatment. Hayaam, Sherezade posted a a few good ones in the 'For Fitness Sake' topic. This section.
