Haha. It must be a conservative culture thing, ladies sports hardly sparks interest in the west..

Horta heedhe, we need to find a proper inoffensive name for that style, I don't really know what t call it myself. I say the Somali style but not only Somalis wear it. Back to topic.. I was objecting to the premise that this hijab doesn't meet the conditions set by Allah and His Messenger (SAW) because of it's bright colour. Fashionista hijaabis wey iska duuban yihiin too markaa. I did not say that you can't comment on their fashion sense. Just that fashion doesn't dictate Islamic ruling. Originally posted by -MARX-: If the whole point of wearing hijab is for modesty, why we do see this in all sorts of conspicuous and attention-grabbing colours and style.... but this type of a hijab is absurd and unacceptable. It doesn’t achieve its religious objectives nor does it promote modesty or humbleness. p.s Sheh, have you been biting yourself a lot lately? Waan ku mind-xamanyey, baryahan oo dhan.

^Salaams Ngawa, Welcome and tell us a bit about yourself. Ibts.. is your doctor on crack?? She told YOU to lose weight? Ouch@ the list. C&H No, your not the only girl, I eat for Britain but it's starting to show here. LOL. My sister barely eats and sometimes she forgets. When, I'm with her I mummy her and I'm constantly making her sncks and telling her to eat.. but she's just a bad eater because she loves it when she gains weight.

^Look up the definition of 'hijab', the word is not confined to it's popular meaning. Educate yourself on what is required of you, instead of focusing on others. Conditions of Male Hijab As for the sisters, it has already been established, their hijab is close to perfect, your preferences matter not.

SS, have you seen Mashaqo? Araweelo was a bit disappoint, could’ve done with more story lines. Can’t get those films here either but mums neighbour in London used to get em for me. C/H Did you ask what the film was about? On the fridge.. I read the question wrong , I was thinking about what it's what it does, the fridge. On that day I felt like I had to source energy to keep cool or reerku would've got it. If I‘m cool, everyone is happy if not… know what I mean. I've discovered the magic of eyeliner recently. Arab girls know how to use it, man. Their eyes captivate me. Sadly, I’m crap at applying eye shadow.

xayasiis.com. Are you a share holder? LOL@ Kaasa Balbalaare. 'Xabadi keentay' enclave buu ahaa.

Oh.. Koora Tuunse is not Koora Dadab. What do these names mean? Are they places? Morals, ethics, humanism comes through one thing and that is ISLAM. Find it and be united by it. Indeed. It is a touching piece but what can the average Farax and Xalimo in the Diaspora do about the situation in Somalia? I personally feel so detached from the place, all I can do is look on and wish for the best.

^Ditto, on your last comment. It takes Iman. Okay, since we’re on the point of stating our preferences.. I'm partial to red hijabs and I did buy a pink stripy one for pink hijaab day. This xaliimo likes her colours. Your turn.. How do you ‘man hijaab’, Marx?

^Interesting. I wasn't really looking for a discussion which is why I put it here. I thought the contrast was amusing. This was posted by a none Muslim expat in a local site with these comments. JB, Haneefah, Is that the Morocco or another?  p.s Those houses are pretty. They remind me of Ottawa.

Salaams gabdho.. hugs@ Buuxo. Are we only thinking about girly items? Initial thought was 'fridge'. LOl. It would have to be silky bright hijabs for me. I love books but have too much on my plate for them at the mo.
