LOL. That's the case for all movies, maha. I love censorship here, no awkward moments when watching movies, thank God. Still, my hubby never agrees to a girly movie, haven't seen those for ages. SS, Try bartamaha.com for Somali movies. Buuxo.. How fab is it? I say go for it, MDs are for life but bare in mind that this girl is barmy for maxi dresses. LOL. Ibts, LOL. Yu never learn huuno. Visit your eedo before I come over or you'll get another earful.

^Or live off caydh which is the case in the UK. The government needs to stop spoon feeding able young men and women, markaasay dantooda ka fakirayaan. Teeda kale, not everyone goes to university for the money they might earn. A degree is a minimum requirement for most professions, especially those that make essential contributions to society, such as medicine, education, law, engineers, etc, etc. Some are paid a pittance but they get the reward in the difference they make to peoples lives. What's more, there's a great shortage of professionals in our community and we have a country that needs rebuilding... These kids have all the opportunity presented to them, they even get paid to go onto further education in the UK. It's so bloody annoying that they let laziness get in the way, when their cousins are dying (literally) for that opportunity. Underdog, You've been rubbishing education for years n this board, what's the story there?

I think the credit crunch will proof to be good for Dubai, it doesn't feel like it now but speed of develpment was too fast, it was like being stuck in a whirlwind. This slow down was needed because they really have to take time out and put sme thought into their crazy plans. Also, because it’s global Dubai will not fall behind. I certainly appreciate the fact that renting a place is becoming easier and that tenant and investor rights are getting priority attention. They’re even starting to address repatriate debt. If the worse happens, Abu ‘Dubai‘ will make it better. Insha Allah. Piers Morgans recent documentary on Dubai it's a bit hmm. He focused on just one aspect of Dubai. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mCn8qjVVw_s

So, when will Puntland start with projects like these?
Blessed replied to inspector22's topic in Politics
Haha. Masaskaa won't get built. The Lagoons project had problems from the get go, ****** idea. It's best to keep it simple. -
^You don't want to know. Nasty people, maskax huuro aad qabtiin waa halki Nephisa'e.

The images of the real city waa xagee? Jordan? Lebanon? -
@bordering on shirk.. Stop it right now! Anyway, have you noticed that the "imam" is naked?
-
^You should have made that clear in your first posts, dear. The image without the narrative looks harmless, no?
-
Ibts. I didn't say that it was okay for Muslims to mock Islamic rituals. The image you posted is not sacrilegious and as such people should not be quick to pass such a dangerous judgement when the intentions and knowledge of the young boys were unknown to us- you said you were sure of their sincerity, yet you insist that their action mocks the core of Islam. To me it’s just a bunch of kids who incorporated salah in their play, it’s silly, it’s childish, it goes in line with British Muslims ‘lets islamify everything’ trend but it is not a mockery of Islamic rituals. Using the image to mock imams by MPACUK is incredibly rude, lacking foresight and contradicts their work. They should know better.

Allah Yarxamu.

Khayr, I don't consider it mockery, so your last question is off the mark. I don't believe that there was any contempt intended on their part. The poor kids, who properly lack knowledge of fiqh were most likely celebrating their faith, though the action is misguided. Ibtisaam can ask them and feedback on why they did it. p.s They are also Muslim, deenta kama xigtid. You owe them seventy excuses, give them just one..
-
^Me too. Safar Salaamas and I hope you love every moment of it, Insha Allah. I'm excited for you. WOW
-
It's silly and cute to me. Maybe a little misguided but accusing them of mocking the deen is a stretch, Ibts.

A will to ptentially kill, Ibtisaameey?

LOL@ Food poison him. Aar tanoo kale. Then you'll end up with a weak, sick and saggy man. You don't like what you see, move on. Jacaylku is not a charity, ya know. Dantaada ka raac. My god CL, that's so cruel. Leave the poor man and woman alone, she obviously sees something good in him. Honestly, it's not as if you'll be forced to see him with his kit off, let it be, hon.

^Have you heard about the seaman who visited the UK back in the day, when he went back home the people asked him about England. Wuxu yidhi, 'waar meesha lix biloodna geedahaa qaawan, lixda kalena naagahaa qaawan.' It's like that, eh..
-
I'm with Malika on that one.

I don't quiet understand your comment. I'm just saying those scholars or Islamic groups who oppose him (never heard of Umal btw), were quiet in their condemnation previously. Sh.Sharif did not claim to be the amir of Muslims, he did not claim to have established a khilafah- yes the institution is haraam and so is every political establishment in the Muslim world and scholars still maintain that you are not to oppose the leaders. They can support him, mediate between him and al-shabaab and the other Islamic groups and create a climate in which an Islamic state can be established. Instead, they call for opposition which will only lead to war and bloodshed. Greater good? You mentioned Hudaybia, the Prophet (SAW) agreed to postpone hajj for one year, He also agreed to omit writing 'Rasul Allah'.
-
Goood on them. I don't understand where the khawarij type mentality of those who oppose him comes from. Would they rather have him oppose the deen like the former military regime? Would they rather have a secular, warlord drunk as president? Granted, this government doesn't claim to be a khilafah of any sort.

^ . You're so right. LOL I guess it would be better if it was a ladies only event. "It's not how loudly you announce being a Muslim, but how quietly you defer to Allah," This is NOT true, walaal. Believe is personal but Islam is an outward religion. Allah commands us in some many verses of the Quran to both announce and wear it, in various ways and not just our clothing.
