  1. Why do I continue to see two highlighted names in the ballot? So far I can conclude and say that Sharif is leading, nur cade behind him along with maslax creeping to nur cade's number. Maxamed aadan edson yaa waaye? He is picking up some votes.
  2. north, when sharif had 3, this character was calling for 8. Just subtract 5 from whatever Kadawo's number is.

  4. Maslax mahamed siyad is getting some votes pple. If you are for maslax, you should be excited right now.
  5. I just saw one of the ballots up close, people seem to be marking the names of the candidate with a black marker and they may have selected more than one candidate in a single ballot.
  6. This is still too early but so far its nur and sharif votes. I did not hear another candidate mentioned in the last 7 to 8 ballots.
  7. ^u are not good with the counting, nur has over 3 votes as we speak.
  8. Emperor, it is to show the fair counting process. The ballet sheet looks to be 8 x 11 format. We just got a sheikh sharif vote, yay...
  9. We have all the wakiils of each candidate, they all took their place. Macalin something just got a vote or something. I can't really make out. Nur hassan hussein just got a vote...
  10. I'm back, the speaker just announced for any xildhibaan who had not voted to step up and come forward. Last round folks, this is it. I thought I missed quite a bit but that doesn't seem to be the case. hahaha Juuje, fadlan nagadaa dhibka aad meesha kuwado.
  11. ^lol, I think they are going back to those that did not step up the first time around. I think they are just looking to clear the list so they can start counting the ballots.
  12. Quite a number of female mps are being called. The speaker just asked the voters to fold the paper number of times and make it as small as they can possibly make before putting it on the box because he says the ballot box is nearing full and they need space when in fact there is 3 boxes that are nearly empty. PS:ng, I only have 10 minutes before my live coverage ends, ee why dont you take over so I can read your transcript when I return later eh?
  13. Ng, why is it a farce? Could it be because your guru's house did not get this much media coverage and enthusiasm from the people ever?
  14. ^lol, indeed they are incommunicado. Ducaysane, right now he has to get through the 1st round. We can't worry about what his title will be when he hasn't even made it past the first round.
  15. We are still awaiting for some members but they don't seem to be present. Atleast 4 names called, I wonder if shabaab's have them as hostages.
  16. There is definitely tension in the room now folks. The room is is growing quite, even the western observers are quite.(probably we are nearing the end of the 1st round) I just saw a shot of the candiates but it was not up close, therefore I was not able to read their faces.
  17. Its official, I JUST SAW THE SECRET ROOM WHERE MEMBERS ARE CASTING THEIR VOTES INDIVIDUALLY. It is near the stage, behind a black curtain box. yay for democracy
  18. ^members are still casting votes. A fella by the name of cosoble and aadan xusen qeylow just casted their vote. Mostly men, its a shame. Where are the few female xildhibaans?
  19. So far, only the far left and far right ballot boxes are nearing full. The three middle ones are nearly empty. I would say about 250 ballots so far have been placed but it could be more. (the feed is not the greatest but it will have to do)
  20. Duceysane, stop spreading rumors eedo. We can't even get a shot at the canadidates on stage, ee where do you think you saw him sleeping or are you just going off from the jab i took earlier over his magnifying glasses.
  21. Ngonge, I am having coffee and watching that one angle shot. In any case, it doesn't look like its a secret ballot because I don't know where the voters were sitting when they jotted the name of their candidate on the piece of sheet. The process is that there is 5 glass boxes placed in the middle of the room and the voter's name is called, he walks and places his ballot on one of the 5 boxes while everyone watches and walks back to his seat. Whether he went into a room behind the shot and casted the vote and then walked back and put it in the ballot box, that I do not know...either way it seems legit. I see one female on the front row(masha allah) The crowd is relatively quite very little movements.
