You gotta luv the way capital H is running with his team. If capital H was a sportscaster, I bet he would vote for all miami this year. I agree with capital though, if there were such a thing as top 3 rookies, without a doubt I put wade in third place. Lamar Odom is the most improved, and he is probably the top three candidates that the voters are considering, but we all knew odom had game since the beginning, just wasn't given the opportunity to shine like a real star(Due to a doomed franchise and his troubles on/off the court) Voters going to have to consider that the fact that Odom was given a fresh star, fresh franchise, and the responsibility that comes with it, we were all expecting how Odom was going to react to all of that and he just showed what he was capable all along, which is being ODOM and playing ODOM game. This is the same story line as T-mac back when he was with toronto, who knew what T-mac was capable off??? Everyone but the raptor franchise, they had a talent and somehow, they didn't know how to handle him, same with darius miles, maggiette, elton brand. These guys in the clipper line-up have so much to over, but there isn't a team who is willing to take the risk off getting them and hopefully succeeding. It's all faith when it comes to which team you will end up in the league, no matter how talented a player is. About the sixth man choices some of you chose, d id someone go with Bobby Jackson??? Excuse me, are u not aware that bobby has been injured list for a while now, same with last year, bobby is healthy all through out the season but when he is really needed, injury takes over. Bobby can't get the award, even though he deserved it for the longest time, he just hasn't played enough games this season to be worthy. The choice that some of you made for a. jamison, good choice but not enough credit. Y'all gotta consider the fact that mavericks got all the talent th ey needed as far as shooters is concerned, and still managed to drop out for a while and finally gotten their act together. Dallas hasn't had a complete success all year long, and just because antonie is playing, doesn't mean he will win it either. In order for you to win a sixth man award, your team has got to be successful enough, that majority of it depended on the sixth man and he was a bigger part of it, and dallas managed to have a losing record to the away games to the miserable eastern conference???? This is ginobili year, he will take that over if al harrington doesn't win it.*(ginobili was playing a bigger role when duncan was nursing his injury, he managed to win games for the spurs without their franchise star and u still think a. jamison is gonna win it___)

Why am I not surprised@Evil 719's statement??????? You are capable of doing just that, lakkad. You probably would marry him at this present situation. Did y'all say the prince is 55 yrs old??? He is a hotie and just now I had to look his picture twice, trIED to pICTURE myself in the princes's shoes, anD i DON'T HATE HER FOR SECURING THAT HUNK OF A PRINCE.

WINGER, I am glad to see a die-hard footie fan can still open his mind to b-ball and show interest.(allah only knows how irritate I get watching soccer, I don't have the patient for teams to soccer every 15-30mins, sometimes an hour passes before one team can manage to score over another) If soccer was half as exciting as b-ball is, I probably watch alot more than just watching the world cup. Back to what you said about lebron and melo... There can never be a comparison between the two players, because they are two different individuals, their game is alot different. I'm hoping that the t-wolves win tonight's game and just close out the best record in the west. Tonight´s game against sixers, pacers gonna make a franchise history with 60 wins, gotta luv it.

I've noticed that some of you went with Hubie Brown over Jerry Sloan, good choice but why? I honestly would have gone with hubie the oldie myself, but Sloan worked with far less talented team than hubie has this season. Hubie has been very successful between the two, no argument there. On one hand, hubie has far more talented team than jazz would ever inquire and for that reason alone, jerry sloan will win it. Y'all gotta base your choice for the coach of the year not based on record wise, but based on talent. Who has had to overcome his two best stars for the longest time ever and make a team only with kirilento as a star to make them worth watching and still have a chance to take up the 8th and last spot??? If Hubie wins it, he will only win it based on his age, that regardless of how old a coach is, he can still put up with a young grizzlies team and make them successful contenders in a tough western conference.

Most of you are aware that in the next several weeks, we will find out the winners of each respected categories for 04'. I want to know who do you pple want to win in the caterogies below: MOST VALUABLE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: ROOKIE OF THE YEAR: MOST IMPROVED PLAYER: COACH OF THE YEAR: SIXTH MAN OF THE YEAR: and last but not least DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: I want you to pick the winners and briefly explain why the winner deserves to win in each category. My pick for this year's winners are as follows:- First and foremost, KEVIN GARNETT FOR MVP. There isn't a player this season who can even come close to putting the same stats as KG for 04, as far as points, rebounds, assists, blocks and leadership and most importantly success of the team is concerned. KG has had individual success for the past several yrs, but hasn't had a team success as good as he has had this season. He has managed to start off strong and finish strong, even though his team has had some shaky times during the season. This team has been mostly dominant most part of the season thanks to the determination of it's star. My rookie of the year goes to melo, and I know some of y'all are like"is she serious""??? and the answer is yes. I picked melo over lebron because even though there wasn't much hype surrounding melo at the beginning, he still managed to take a weaker team in the west and make them successful contenders in a matter of months and at the same time, melo managed to put up respected numbers. On the other hand, Lebron has managed to over come all the hype surrounding him and make his team successful in a weak conference, even though some of the tougher teams were struggling in this same conference, his team managed to fail. Both players are great young guys who have shown that in time, both players in their respected conference will become dominant teams, but melo hasn't had the advantage of having silas, he hasn't had the advantage of playing in the weaker east conference, and his team still managed to almost make the playoffs with a better record than the cavs. Most part of the season, the nuggest haven't had the luxury of struggling as much as the cavs had, there were times when lebron was putting lesser stats than melo, and for that reason alone, I had to go with melo for rookie of the year. Most improved player is very clear cut choice... Gotta go with Zach Randolph. I chose Randolph, because not only has his team managed to go through extreme make-over, but troubles on/off the court for the team didn't much affect his game. Matter of fact, that proved to motivate him, he has managed to improve his offensive as well as his defensive game overnight tremendously. Jerry Sloan is my coach of the year choice, only because the two stars he depended on the last 14 to 15 yrs no longer existed. He took pieces of used puzzles, and he has managed to not only put it together and complete but made the puzzle worth displaying at the finest art galleries. My sixth man choice isn't as easily predictable, because I have more than one choice. On one hand, I have Al harrington, whose team owns the best record in the league and he has been part of that, but on the other there is the defending championship team's european star, is the man from argentina folks. He probably will win the award, only because he has been unspeakable.(there just isn't anything you can say about ginobili that is negative.) The defensive player of the year would be shocking if GARNETT WAS TO WIN IT, and HE IS ONE OF THE TOP 3 PLAYERS I AM CONSIDERING TO WIN IT. It be a shame if RON ARTEST was given a cold shoulder and didn't win it. Ron has proven over and over again that he is a defensive player first, and shooting second. We all know what happens when artest isn't in the line-up, we know what pacers aren't capable of doing and we know they miss him tremendously when he isn't available to them.(ofcourse, I know O'neal is the man for the pacers, but so is artest) Basically, I am choosing Artest over KG, but it be amazing if somehow kg managed to find enough votes to win over artest.

Hello Jaylaani... Let me start off with the comment about the kings being better without webber. Kings do play together in webber's absence by filling the webber void. Kings aren't a championship contenders without webber, but they have proven many times that they can play better without their star but can play excellent basketball with their star as well.(it goes both ways) What I don't agree is the coach's decision to put webber back into the line-up right after he served his suspension.(what coach needed to do was make webber come off the bench and let him get used to his own team, but not break up a team who had excellent chemistry just because the franchise player is healthy again) Bottom line is, without webber kings won't advance to second round or any round, that much is clear to everyone and as I said, I do admire webber's game.(There is no point in webber being rushed back into the line-up, he had about 20 games to get used to it but they just rushed him...he hasn't reacted to the challenges that have been put infront of him, his shot selection is beyong anything I would take up myself and his shots are flat, on top of that they are 8-6 with him) If anyone is out there who is dogging webber for not playing upto his ability, I think y'all are wrong. This man can pass, can make any 18-25footers at any given night, dont understimate webber y'all and he is monster in the paint when he has that ball in his hands and healthy(he doesn't get double double for being a sh*tty player) About my basketball IQ, i don't know whether to take it as a compliment or whatever. There are few of you here who do have good iq for b-ball, whether it be college or pro, but I don't see you singling the men out, Jaylaani.(What's with "You will make a good wife someday"?) About marc jackson, I have had the oppurtunity to watch him play for golden state before he was traded to minnesota and he is excellent low post player who can rebound and hussle for the ball, but with injuries, you can't afford to have folks who break out easily, this team has been through so much, now its all about getting healthy pple and hoping they don't break when they get into the city of brotherly love. Capital H, I don't know whether to laugh@u or be happy for heat's winning shot over mavs. You are aight in my book, just that you are biased when it comes to miami, all you see is them south beach boys winning streak, you don't see the downside. Your team hasn't had much loss in the last month and a half, and I really want to see how your team reacts to losing fewer games more come postseason.(especially when you have alot of young cats as starters in your team with no experience and don't know what's like to be playing in the postseason level with experienced teams) PS: the celtics's game was a must win for sixers lastnight, and I doubt they can over come those 2 games behind if celtics keep this up, and lebron putting 41 and carrying that team all the way to the end.... What was the nuggets lack of defense against JAZZ???How can arroyo take a clear jumpshot at the end of the clock and win it for the team???? I was disgusted....

Dearest 719, you have got to get your feet off the ground. You can not go from team to team. You remind me of my brother, who is just in it for the thrill of winning, will do anything if he sees a team with potential. Georgia Tech made their plays when it counted, and kansas did not.(clear as a cut) The 3 pointer in the overtime set the tone and when you don't make a noise for noise, you are not going to overcome it. I gotta give it to my jayhawks, they made their plays all through out the game, they just couldn't finish the game but played their hearts out. I was a little disappointed when miles stole the ball and made that bad pass that turned to a turnover, again, you can't afford to make mistakes when you you make a play and create a turnover of the other end, you gotta finish it off. (little things like that, you look back on and you wonder what if?) As far as final four is concerned, I don't give a sh*t, both my teams lost out....but ima keep an eye on conneticut if I were y'all, even though duke is the favourite.

Jaylaani, Eric Snow might not be an all-star guard in your book, he might never be jason kidd, baron davis or even steve francis but eric snow is the most underrated point guard in the league, next to sam cassel who finally came out and showed how deserving he was to make it to the all-star team in the west.(quite an accomplishment, I tell ya) I might sound biased when it comes to Snow, only because he is my favourite sixer player next to AI today. I say that because I admire his game, he is not a scorer, he will never be a great scorer that much I agree but "pathetic snow" that I disagree with you. This man is a defensive minded player, who will do anything for his team and his sense of determination is what makes me admire him as a player. Pple don't see all the dirty things he does that only few of us do. You don't see all of those turn-overs from the opponents caused by snow, you don't see those amazing passes he makes to his teammates for an assist, because his passes aren't like kidd's or magics....His passes aren't those of an all-star but be can sure play basketball and that is where snow is in my book. Coming back to coach cheeks and the urgency for a big man, I agree but as I said before in order to get a strong 4 position who can make those 18footers consistantly, who can put the ball in the paint any given night, who can even take 25footers@times when the opponent's big man can't come out will come after the coaching position is sealed, that much I know. (Marc jackson, derrick coleman and glen robinson have got to go. Notice how I added DC??? Even though I love DC, his time has expired, those injuries have taken a toll the past few yrs, he is only gonna be dragging the team down if he stays) I am not sure how many of you laker fakers are throwing a party for the "come-out party for the lakers" since they been in the closet too long, but someone gotta put the laker's fire out and it gotta be doneeeeee now. It was bad enough they burned the kings, but it only took them thursday to rest and they were @it again for the t-wolves. Both teams led the series to a 3-0 for t-wolves and kings were 2-0 coming into wednesday and lakers have managed to send a message, and not just any message but an orange alert. T-wolves are really digging up their own hole very slowly, to the point of being buried once more come playoffs. On the other hand, the kings are relaxing too much, to the point where Bobby Jackson is disgusted with his own teammates. Webber might be an all-star and the franchise player, but lets face it, each time he has been injured in the last couple of seasons, his team has managed to do better without him.(What does that say about the rest???) I agree with all the talk about webber not starting when he came back into the line-up, he should have done what duncan did and that was to come off the bench. Even though we can't blame webber for ruining his team's chemistry, we have got to hold him responsible for the 8-6 record that they have with him on the starting line-up.(We can't blame anyone but alderman for that, if u are a king's fan)King players are sending a message to their coach and he isn't getting it. The rest of the king's players might talk non-stop of how proud they are to have webber back and how they all think he should star immediately, but deep down they aren't happy about it because they have managed to have an outstanding record without him in the line-up more than one season and lets face it they are not to blame for relaxing too much or losing those 6 games out of the last 14 they played. I think duncan sent a message to all the all-stars with the ego's, starting with AI and ending with webber that it isn't about them if they want to win a championship...Its about the team, I do blame AI for the pistons loss couple of weeks ago, when he wanted to play but didn't and all that talk and confusion made the rest of the team lose focus and ruined their 4 winning strike....and ended up losing 4 in a row before they finally managed to win this 3 in a row....which is wonderful for the sixers, but AI has nothing to prove to a coach who is just temporary, he knows what he is capable of doing for his team and any team for that matter. He shouldn't have acted the way he had, and that much jaylaani you would agree on or anyone for that matter. (AI is paying for his own actions now, thats probably why he is sitting out, i dont think its about his knee anymore, he is being punished for his actions and they are covering it with injury)lets face it, no one is gonna hold it over ai's head if this team makes to the playoffs, jaylaani because AIcarried this team on his back since he was drafted single-handedly. (It's about time the team made AI proud and show him what the team is capable of doing without their star) Snow or coach ford aren't responsible for ai's behaviour and what's left of his career as a sixer but I sincerely believe that ai isnt going anywhere, if he was, why bother bringing coach cheeks???or why would cheeks or any coach in the league be interested to coach philly without AI???

Capital Z, did you say mavs ain't shit because they got beat by the sixers???LOL A heat fan is dissin' my team, thats funny. Regardless of how well the mavs can shoot, they got beat and they got beat badly by my team. Ofcourse, I loved the effort my team showed again lastnight against suns, it was a beautiful come back on the 4th quarter....but I just wasn't feeling that whole "Fighting from behind" that was never something I look forward to watching....but they came out hard and they did it...it was an energy booster from kover's 3 that gave us the lead for good.... I still can't get over capital H's diss, LOL your team might be in the playoffs but they are still under .500, what sort of a bs is that???? Jaylaani, I agree with everything you said, I think by losing out the playoffs we can get a potential loterry pick, but I still think that a team like the 76ers who have struggled through it all, can come and make the playoffs without their star would show some character. I doubt that gm king will get shareef, but there is a good possibility that we will get coach cheeks come summer time.(Rumour has it that Jim O'brien might be headed to portland, and I doubt coach cheeks will be anywhere but philly...he wanted to come this past summer but contract issues and portland not willing to give up that early made it impossible to deal him...) I would rather get a coach like maurice than a big man....(right now, you gotta deal the cards one at a time and philly needs a coach....) PS: What did I say about celtics falling off the race???Was I right, or was I right?LOL I think the knicks are a good possibility by not making the playoffs because of the injuries to tim thomas and houston but then again there is about 10 or so games left, so you never know what could happen, even the cavs are falling slowlyyy I love webber, I love the kings, but they shamed all their fans lastnight.... The ref's disappointed me, but mostly the kings disappointed me the most. I was expecting to watch a heated game, and the only thing that put fire was those technicals that was given out lastnight. If kings keep up this defenseless tactics that they are playing as of late, the only thing they will do in june is extend their vacation.

well said, spadez... I will always keep hope for my favourite team. Atleast I am not my brother, who happens to favor any team who wins a championship. He would literally beat up anyone for that team but if another team just happens to be crowned a champion, then thats his team. This is the same man who was a pistons fan early late80s/early90s, and as soon as mj and the bulls captured those 3 straight, he was forever a bulls fan, but atleast he stayed a bulls fan even after mj left and when he came back, he still continued to be one, then when mj finally left...he went with lakers...(he never was a spurs fan, even though they won that short season....) Now, he is the ultimate laker fan, which is fake because he is fan of any team who continuously wins championships, even if its two in a row or three in a row.

I was bitterly disappointed with the early exit of stanford. Pardon me evil719, but the jayhawks are as sorry as making to the big dance eh??? Let me break it down for y'all...This is my prediction for the regional finals. Out of the Phoenix region, Obviously, non other than my orangeboyz Vs Connecticut or whoever they playing against(I don't much care for the team connecticut is playing, because we got this region on orange-lock) The St. Louis Region is easy one to predict, My Jayhawks against Georgia Tech....(its anyone's game because we don't have skinny kirk hindrich no more but I have a hunch that this is the year georgia tech locks down their region) The other two regions, I don't care who comes out, because non of those teams are winning the title this year. I watched St.Joseph and pittsburgh play, and I doubt oklahoma state or wake forest are coming out of E.Rutherford region. The Atl region, it be Duke 4sho, and whoever wins the other match-up.... Final word.....I don't favor anyone but my orangeboyz.(Whoever beats my boyz, wins title, simple as that) PS:I am still recovering from stanford's loss.

Capital H, boy u are so full of it....(talk about, "we gunning for 5th spot") I gotta give it the heat, they came out and just shut my team down on the 4th quarter saturday afternooon. For a minute there I thought with Kenny's 13pts in the 3rd quarter would atleast make the rest of the team to come out hard on the 4th quarter, instead only made 3 shots...thats disgusting...no excuse,we lost and we lost badly to the heat.(if only we came with the same effort we came with on monday's game against dallas)but ya gotta love the effort my team came with lastnight...we were shooting 60% all the way through the game and we just killed maverics and cuban all in one shot.(if y'all didn't watch that ball game lastnight, then u missed a hell of a shooting game from the sixers as well as mavericks but the better team won at the end, it was a beautiful game) PS: I am still hopeful that we can take the next 3 home games, and we ain't that far out from the picture just yet folks.
-
Who knew that evil-719 watched sports, much less college ball. Y'all ought to give much luv to my orangemen, they are still the team to beat.(until they lose, y'all college ball fans should be concerned for your teams) Still underdogs even though they got a championship under their belt. Ima always go with the jayhawks on the final four, I think they got potential but the two teams who have impressed me the most in this tournament is seaton hall in the atl bracket and Stanford who is making the biggest noise of all so far.
-
Lander, I am the first to admit that the sixers ain't got a chance to get further come playoffs, but I still think that they can make it and will make to the playoffs, the question is, where would they end up........7th or 8th spot??? MY TEAM ISN'T MISSING THE PLAYOFFS THIS SEASON OR ANY OTHER SEASON, YES THEY HAVE STRUGGLED bADLY WITH INJURIES ALL SEASON LONG, AND YES YOU WILL SEE THEM COME PLAYOFFS....(BE READY AND BE PREPARED CAPITAL H) If y'all pay alittle attention to what I have posted so far, then y'all would probably have noticed that I picked pacers Vs New Jersey/New york Knicks on the eastern finals...(I didn't pick my own team, because I know they ain't got a chance) What I am stunned about is how lander and the rest ignored the pacers completely out of the race to the championship.... Have y'all forgotten that the pacers are holding the best record in the league???(NOT JUST EASTERN CONFERENCE, folks....THE LEAGUE, with capitals ofcourse) Don't u for one second think that the pacers aren't contenders and wont give pistons a run for their money.(or any team for that matter, and i don't even like the pacers....but they do deserve my props) CAPITAL H, LETS JUST WAIT UNTIL TOMORROW NIGHT AND WILL DISCUSS HOW GOOD YOUR HEAT ARE AFTER THE WEEKEND...OK????
-
Qaac, I am not sure if you are really reading my posts, the post before last, I have stated that "coming into today's game" sixers were 2-1 vs the piston series this season and because at the time of my post, it was a sunday, they did lose it and I told u why they did. I have said that a loss is a loss but those same sixers who played @detroit didn't put the same effort they did on their last 4 wins coming into that game. You have got to start paying attention to other pple's response or else you would repeat the same thing over and over again. Getting back to Capital H, not Z, since u are so full of heat. For you to come out and say that philly is going to exist real soon and heat gonna keep their engine on, thats just laughable. You have your opinions as far as your team is concerned, you have read what I had to say as far as breaking the entire playoff picture, and I have read yours....let the show begin. Ima watch and let it unfold.(Not sure if u seen the memphis game lastnight, but I caught up with the highlights and it was an easy one that got away, and u will bet my team is gonna take their frustration out on your boyz down @ the sun come saturday, but you make sure that you keep in touch right after, because I would love to know how you react to losing since u all pumped up about it. PS: THe next 7games, sixers are gonna come out with a 6-1 record. only 3 of the 7games are away games, meaning tonight against hornets will be decided by 4th quarter, sixers winning that one. The miami game is easy win, but the dallas @home(but becuz its in philly, it might help a bit) might be a tough one too, other than that the next 4games after dallas game should be favarouble to my team.
-
I'm sorry to disappoint you Qaac, but sixers won 4 games in a row. It could be that according to your standards, that you only saw the 2 wins you wanted to see, which probably was the last two games....against bulls & Knicks. (They beat bulls twice and the bucks as well as knicks) Coming into today's game sixers were up 2-1 over pistons. I didn't see the same effort from the team that I saw on the last 3games after the half-time break. (bottom line is that they lost to pistons and that series is tied) As I said before, sixers faith in the playoffs will be determined on their health.(the biggest factor is injuries) I personally don't think losing glen robinson is much of a loss. I would want to have jackson and derrick healthy and ready come playoffs. If we have those two, plus AI, kenny and the rest, team will get passed the first round. I think that as of today, the knicks are holding 8th spot. I probably think knicks will move atleast to 6th spot come april. I still think cavs have a legitimate chance in holding 7th or 8th depending on how strong philly gets in there but I honestly think philly is the team who is looking out now that will knock off boston. (Neither miami or toronto will make it....TORONTO HAS A DEAD CHANCE IN MAKING THE PLAYOFFS PERIOD) PS:THe reason why I picked the celtics to drop from the race is becuz their last 7 games of this month are all against tough opponents. eg, Nuggest(hungry), spurs, maverics and playing 2x against new jersey and philly...but the philly game will probably go down to the wire.
-
I'm a little disappointed in the folks who suggested that the heat gonna come off the east, are U KIDDING ME? Anyone who ain't even so much as hinted that the sixers are gonna sneak into the playoff picture, is deadly ill. Y'all watch out snow and the rest to sneak in to 7th's spot or 8th. (It's gonna be a tough battle, especially if we won't have everyone healthy come playoff time, but I think with more bodies, we can knock off either pistons or jersey (whoeverer ends up in the #2 spot come april.) I think that no eastern team has a chance to even compete, especially pistons. Y'all might think that the pistons are alot stronger because of wallace-wallace, but I doubt they can match up to the wolves or the kings come finals. I am watching for T-Wolves to go as far as the western conference finals this year, Y'all heard it here first.(History in the making) I honestly see T-wolves Vs Kings at the western conference finals.(it should not only be fantastic, but they are going all the way to the wire.......7games) I see Pacers Vs Knicks or (JERSEY) Eastern conference Finals.(knicks/new jersey will push as far as one or two wins, but it just might end with game 6, in favour of pacers) If pacers play pacers basketball, they will meet kings for the finals in june. (ofcourse, Kings all the way this year) Personally, I don't think toronto is going anywhere, and the heat with young wade, will take up some much needed vacation come april with carter and company joining him in the sun. If I speak a little about young james, and the cavs, he did prove that he can over come all the hype, but a man who hasn't gotten much needed luv is melo. Melo and company will indeed play this year's playoff if they keep on pushing. I gotta say The Jazz are pushing right behind them, there just might knock off melo and nuggets... All in all, both rookies need to be awake long enough to see the playoff birth...(few more games and both rookies will be in the history books and will be talked about 20yrs from now)

Nuune, did u just attempt to crack up a joke??? My advice to you, keep working hard on your material, don't let any tell you otherwise. 719, there are no words were u are concerned...and talk about "I am full of shit", so is everyone, thats why we must shit atleast once a day, if not 2 or 3x. and whatever nonsense u were yapping about, didn't go so well. Better luck next time with ya jibrish.

Shujui, I don't have a problem with you or anyone for that matter becoming a moderator, nor do I want to become one.(Takes the fun out of being LayZie) I asked you a question though, but u have managed to skip right passed it. It's aight, as long as u are happy doing what u are doin'. I wanted to know what happened to the original moderators, Jamaal 11 &12, Libaax sankataabe, did y'all take a march break??? I hope u ain't bought em cheap tickets to cuba... Whatever happened to shaqsii and mursal, I never see them moderating anything, could be becuz they undercover moderators, who knows... Bottom line is, How did y'all get to become moderators??? Did the old moderators get as layzie as hiring volunteers on top of other volunteers??? I noticed that whenever I come back to SOL, there is a new moderator, its as if the job is up for grabs every minute of the day. I want to know how these ordinary nomads all of a sudden get to hold the key to the forum??? Let's start with Shujui-1(Nothing personal, but your name was the first, its eye catching especially when you have moderator right beside it) When and How did you become a moderator??? 2)The two girls, I don't know what names y'all using now, but y'all from UK right??? How did the two of you all of a sudden get to become moderators? 3) Is it me or is UK taking over this forum, not only are they the majority share holders of the forum, but they seem to be taking over the modering positions as well...(Nothing against english folks) I just have questions that need answers, and the only reason I am asking is because I am curious.(as they say, if one mind is curious enough to ask , a thousand still at wonders)...

How do you motivate yourself (Mr/Mrs Student)?
LayZie G. replied to Dhagax-Tuur's topic in Developement | Projects
My motivation comes from my parents. First of all, you can't keep going unless you really have a reason to go on....(whatever it maybe, a reason to live and be able to see the sun up, or a reason to breath, or a reason to smile the next morning, WE ALL HAVE GOT THEM) I have set up goals for myself as long as I can remember, and I want to achieve every each one, and at times I feel like quitting, but whenever I think back on my parents and the life they provided for me. I think back on all the things they did for me and the good they did for others, I dwell on that whenever I feel like quitting....(I gotta tell ya folks, it works like magic, because that makes me want to go on forever and never quit and the fact that I am strong minded individual who just hates to lose helps. By losing, I mean losing focus on ya goals) -
I want to know if the girl ever did thank you for offering her the ride, Socrates??? If she did thank you after the small gesture u made, then she was within her rights to refuse. If she didn't thank you, Socrates you have every right to be pissed enough to post this pissed a*s thread. Why do I say thaT??? If she acted up once socrates and his friend offered the ride, without really thanking them, she obviously have issues...It's either she slow or she just doesn't know when she is been hit on/not.(She probably assumed y'all were into her and it never occured to her that a human being can show a gesture to another being without really having any hidden agenda's. If I were her, I probably tell you thank you but no thank you...and my reason is just the same as everyone else who wrote before me on the thread.

I just read the article about the incident that happened to the boy. Regardless of the boy's innocence, the guard had no business pulling his gun out, and whether or not it fired or the guard squeezed the trigger, that reminds to be seen, but as I understand he had a gun permit. A security guard at a apartment complex having a gun because he has a permit for it is no excuse. American laws are getting out of hand, blame the courts for allowing such behaviour to exist. This might be the only time that I would actually side with the canadian laws, because no canadian security guard would ever set gun on his hands, much less shoot at a suspected thief, such as the boy. Tough luck for the boy, but many black victims went down before him and many will go after him... ps: I recently visited london and I was very surprised to see london police unarmed, they have no guns, just stunt guns I think, not too sure but I think thats something america need to pay attention to...(WHERE DOES THAT LEAVE A LONDON SECURITY GUARD, IF THE POLICE ARE UNARMED???)

Nova, hypothetically speaking, had u been an owner/coach, you wouldn't let Gary Payton and Karl Malone into your team because they are interested in winning a championship more than anything else??? What else is there besides winning a championship, along side the millions??? You wouldn't let one of the best point guards in gary and one of the great power forwards in my time in Karl malone come into your team and win a championship trophy??? LOL@your statement above, these men you mentioned, payton and malone, took pay cuts in their salary in order to play along side shaq and kobe and win a championship for the lakers and themselves before they retire...(DO YOU REALLY KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS???) Talk about 10x worse, lol, LAKERS AREN'T A BAD TEAM, WITH THE ADDITION OF PAYTON AND MALONE, THEY ARE eVEN A BIGGER THREAT...SURE BOTH MEN ARE AGING, ONE JUST HIT MIDDLE AGE, HIM BEING 40 and all AND ANOTHER IS IN HIS MID 30s BUT THEY ARE DUO NOT TO RECKON WITH....ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY HAVE SHAQ AT CENTER. YOU PLAY SPORTS IN ORDER TO BE BETTER THAN ANYONE ELSEBE, AND THATs WINNING THE ULTIMATE PRIZE, "A CHAMPIONSHIP", THATS WHAT DRIVES PLAYERS TO DO THIS FOR A LIVING, BESIDES THE MONEY...(EVERYONE KNOWS THAT MONEY ISN'T AN ISSUE WITH PAYTON OR MALONE BECAUSE THEY LET GO OF MILLIONS IN ORDER TO CAPTURE THAT CHAMPIONSHIP RING...AND THATS WHAT COACHES AND OWNERS LOOK FOR, A HEART OF A CHAMPION IN GARY AND MALONE)I am sorry you are not an owner and never will be, becaue if u had been an owner of a sports team, any team, you would have filed bankruptcy with that frame of mind you have Nova 03.
