  4. JUMATATU For Kibaki to give a Benz he must have made a 'big ugali' along the way. Genorousity is not in the vocabularly of a 'atarere' president. loooooool..hada waxaad usodhigatay kikuyus eh..lol.-true though. BENZ and KILELESHWA should be my future dream! Maze this dude ana enjoy tayari eh..I guess lazima sasa ni fanye mpango nijitayarishie some form of seat in the MINISTRY of HEALTH..but I would prefer a SUZUKI in NGONG HILLS
  5. ^^^well said sis.very true indeed. Insha-allah Iam going sometime to visit my origins-the thought of caano geel ( mayac, suusac, xammur, bacaroor , and variety of foods and vegis. Most of all, I just want to experience the beach environment..as well as somalinnimo in general). Iam glad we have a president-for better or worse! Its better than being DISPLACED. Just to qoute a Swahili proverb: MKOSA KABILA NI MTUMWA(a tribless person is a slave -this emphasizes that without a country/an origin to claim, one succumbs to the rules/regulations of others(i.e. those in power)..and this has been the case for many somali refugees. A somali proverb that I alwayz STAMP on my DESK CALENDAR is " IT'S PEACE THAT PROVIDES MILK " politics is not my business-only when it comes to the welfare of my dear somalis! So hail to peace and prosperity and may it prevail!-Insha-allah Ramadan Kareem ya muslimiin!

  11. ASW walaaloyaal. Bro, Caaqil I couldn't pass your intriguing entrepreneual innovation of starting/reviving a Donkey business in Somalia? I hope you are kidding? [as bro. NUR mentioned)Yes, as far as my religious knowledge serves me..DONKEY PRODUCE is XARAM(let alone its produce- cheese and such)-So my suggestion to you, instead of initiating such a controversial business, why not EXPAND on the philantropic uses of CAMELS(and their produces as well)-since this animal has been used for many many years and still is. Nevertheless, you will be CONSERVING one of our (somali)heritages -meaning the BEACON of SOMALI CULTURE=CAMEL. like I said-its just a thought; nevermind my interruption-plz do continue with your cirrolley talk. Ramadan Kareem to all!
  12. Insha-allah illaahi hanaga dhigo daad walaala ah oo isla wada shakheyn karo-despite our differences-To peace and prosperity.

  23. Q-w/regard to EPIDEMIOLOGICAL mechanisms plausible in SOMALIA. What are some plausible interventions for combating AIDS that could be successfully implemented in Somalia? (crude statistics show that somalia has had some flares of the epidemic-its only that crude/lack of medical/public health infrastructures that are not in place due to non-existent central government, to determine precise current statistical figures(and ofcourse-there is no 100% precision data in even the most developed country  ) *(caution: keep in mind religious and cultural aspects that might intefere with such 'proposed' interventions). looking forward to your inputs!
  24. Wiilo-indeed a good read. Also, do Westerners' (those who live in developed world-especially in USA) know the health and environmental hazards that pertain to VINYL CHLORIDE and its additives/derivatives (such as PVC, dioxine)? Studies have proven that Vinyl chloride, PVC and dioxine can result in mutations and lead to several cancers and tumors (e.g Larynx, throat, uterus, angio-sarcoma etc). It has also been proven to lead to some fetal dysfunctional developement. The astounding aspect of VINLY CHLORIDES wide effects, is that its all around us-about 60-70% of urban houses in USA use VINLY siding(for outside coating) because its resistant to denting and normal wear and tear. *nevertheless this documentary " BLUE VINYL " (or VINYL producing state in LOUISIANA)-some call it "cancer alley"-as in BOUTEN ROUGE (a city in LOUISIANA) will boost your knowledge about toxic wastes and especially the most common one in the USA.
