Great blog & thx for bringing this forth. For our family..we've..done/taken/practice -hand-me downs -no birthday gifts/celebrations..(doesn't mean we don't recognize it or we don't ever give gifts..we do..but not necessarily during B-days/EIDS..) -infant meals prep'd fresh (no ready-made) -electronics..(not at this time..) -toys (we don't buy them toy guns/trucks etc..infact many of them are hand me downs...) -Cloths-buy them cheap/on-sale...they could be designer(especially winter gear) ****PS: i have few cadaan friends (who have promising/lucrative career in the medical field..)laakin wax ka cheap-san ma arkin..they've taught me a lesson & i have become frugal but still fashionable/proper the thing we spend (while still being frugal) money on are trips/travel.

I would be cautious of toxicity to your liver/kidney when taking synthetic medications.Besides you might be be treating the underlying issue (i.e. diet/zinc/iron deficiency etc). Now speaking of biotin rich foods..like raw egg yolks..my older sister used to make every month an avacado & egg yolk paste & mold it into our hair when we were little & my hair was healthy & fine back then (didn't relate it to such benefits back then but now i understand). Beryahaan..if i comb it in the AM before leaving for work, nasiib baan leyahay.. PS: i can't deal w/long/even slightly grown nails (since macalin dugsi indoctrinated us back in the days..that sheydaanka harsada... I have never grown my nails long, nor do i wear nail polish or artificial ones for that matter..i fee OFF somehow if they are less than normal..or some would say perhaps bland ).

I got a 4 yr also & last night him & his brother (younger) made a "valentine" gift for me-cake & pic of all them (courtesy of the daycare lady-such a sweet women...in exchange for my Thai red curry coconut stew i made w/white rice the night before). @Malika lol...I suppose enjoy while we can..soon they won't be sharing & we'll be intruding into their "personal" lives

what difference does it make now? I think you could've politely said no before taking if you think the implications-be it diiniyaan or otherwise.
