xland is not the future. u cant develop a tuulo if you dont have a solid country. pland boyz think that they can develop tuulos with pirate money or sland boyz would believe that they can build their tuulos with disapora money. that aint gonna work, since a tuulo cant defend itself. a tuulo cant defend itself from thugs...its just like an open market for thugs. only as one country somalis can prosper if they unite. otherwise, they will 4ever be a joke of planet earth as they are now. together we standup or divided....we fall forever!

Even s.african, algeria, kenya are heading to the somali path... a hell hole. just check the leaders who are suppose to win the rigged elections coming in s.africa and algeria!! theres no happens coming to africa in the near future...and the rest of the world is just watching africa to kill itself out so they can collect their mineral rich land. Once upon a time, africa was rich with leaders like nakruma, nasar, the sayid and the likes. nowadays, all we have are loser leaders who keep on dividing their pple to chase a pie in the sky. so sad! god help us. amiin. -

Kenya illegally deporting Somali asylum-seekers -UN 03 Apr 2009 14:10:35 GMT Source: Reuters * Kenyan authorities illegally deport Somali asylum-seekers * Tensions rise in impoverished region with 250,000 refugees * U.N. files formal complaint but says "no action taken" By Laura MacInnis GENEVA, April 3 (Reuters) - Kenyan authorities are deporting asylum-seekers to Somalia, a violation of international law, the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees said on Friday. UNHCR spokesman Ron Redmond said that the police and military, acting on orders from provincial authorities, have been rounding up and forcibly returning Somalis trying to reach Dadaab, the world's largest refugee settlement. The overcrowded facility already houses 250,000 refugees, and aid workers expect 100,000 more Somalis to arrive this year, raising tensions in Kenya's impoverished northeast where human rights groups say police corruption is a major problem. Redmond said that earlier this week, the Kenyan military stopped a bus of 31 asylum-seekers headed to Dadaab, took them to the local police station and then returned them to the Somali border without reviewing their claims. This followed a March 23 incident in which 61 asylum-seekers were arrested and promptly shipped back to Somalia, where rising violence has driven more than 1 million people from their homes and made a third of the population dependent on food aid. "UNHCR has sent a formal complaint to the Minister of Immigration and Registration of Persons protesting these actions," Redmond told a news briefing in Geneva, where the U.N. agency is based. "No action has been taken," he said. Under the international legal principle of "non-refoulement", also enshrined in Kenya's refugee law, states cannot deport asylum seekers without reviewing their claims and ensuring they will not be persecuted or abused back at home. Last week, the watchdog group Human Rights Watch said that in addition to illegally deporting refugees, corrupt Kenyan authorities have been abusing and extorting money from Somalis looking for shelter at the three camps at Dadaab. Kenya has agreed to allocate new land for a separate refugee site, which public health officials say is needed to reduce the risk of disease spreading among those living close together in Dadaab, often without sanitary toilets and cooking facilities. Due north in Ethiopia, authorities have also built new camps to house Somalis fleeing the violence that has killed more than 17,000 civilians in their homeland in the past two years. The UNHCR on Friday said it has started moving refugees in Ethiopia to a newly opened camp some 90 km (56 miles) from the border. (Editing by Louise Ireland and Stephanie Nebehay)

Separatists S/Pland time bombs ticking to go off!!
rudy-Diiriye replied to rudy-Diiriye's topic in Politics
Hello..is anybody home! check this crazy story... how do u know if an african state is in trouble? well journalist get horded up in jails. same thing tfg did that got them smoked out. here is the story.. Four journalists who traveled to Somalia's separatist republic of Somaliland for a media seminar have been detained by local police, Radio Garowe reports. The four journalists traveled by air to Hargeisa, the capital of Somaliland, after leaving their homes in Garowe and Galkayo, two cities in the self-governing Somali region of Puntland. The journalists were detained at Hargeisa's Egal International Airport on Wednesday, where they were questioned by police. Somaliland authorities said the journalists' arrival was not approved by the Ministry of Information, although the journalists argued that they were invited to Hargeisa to attend a seminar hosted by CARE International. The detained journalists spent Wednesday night at a room in the airport. Radio Garowe's corresponded in Hargeisa, Mr. Mohamed Jamal, visited the journalists at the airport where they informed him that they were treated fairly well. No comments have emerged from CARE International or the Somaliland government regarding this case. http://allafrica.com /stories/20090403071 6.html -
Well u can guess what african dictators do, fup everything. sland is frozen in election mode, only thing that can cool it is a snow storm... which u know well is next to impossible to happen there. Only choice, bring out the guns. Civil servants have not got paid in some months and inflation is heating the roof. Economy has been on downward spiral for yrs now. pland is going through political clan upheavals where clans are wagging wars against each other. Journalist and clan leaders are jailed daily. People unrest is happening daily. The govt there is so weak, today, the govt called its navy soldiers to release a ship that was fishing there legally, but the captain in charge ignored orders and held the ship hostage. if these leaders take charge and open political dialogues and understand politics, this probably could be avoided. However, it looks like that they have no clue. Their just same ole warlords in different costumes. Long live all somaliweeyn as one country Inshallah. Amin.

You shouldnt have any problems with it if you computer is set to do security updates automatically...if not either do the update before 1:00am tonite or shut your system down for the whole day tomorrow if it contains important information for u. SAN FRANCISCO - The Conficker worm, a nasty computer infection that has poisoned millions of PCs, will start ramping up its efforts Wednesday to use those machines for cybercrimes. It's unclear whether everyday PC users will even notice, but this is as good an excuse as any to make sure your computer is clean. There are some easy ways to figure out whether a computer has the Conficker worm, and free tools available for getting rid of it. One scary thing about Conficker is that it spreads without human involvement, moving from PC to PC by exploiting a security hole in Microsoft Corp.'s Windows operating system. The hole was fixed in October, but if your computer doesn't get automatic updates from Microsoft, you could be vulnerable. Lots of computer worms disable antivirus software outright, which can be a tip-off that something is wrong. But Conficker doesn't do that. Instead, Conficker blocks infected PCs from accessing the antivirus vendors' and Microsoft's Web sites, so victims won't get automatic updates and can't download the Conficker removal tools that those companies have developed. So see what Web sites you can visit. If you can navigate the Internet freely except for sites owned by Microsoft or antivirus vendors such as Symantec Corp., McAfee Inc. or F-Secure Corp., your PC might have Conficker or a similar bug. Fixing the problem gets a little trickier. The best remedy is to have a friend — whose computer is not infected — download a removal tool from Microsoft or one of the antivirus vendors. Then that person should e-mail the tool to you. A list of the free Conficker removal programs is available on the Web site of the Conficker Working Group, an alliance of companies fighting the worm. The removal programs will take care of themselves, for the most part, scanning your system and purging the worm. One thing to note: Conficker blocks infected machines from running removal tools with "Conficker" in the name. So users might have to change the name of the file (one you've saved the tool to your desktop, right-click on it and select "rename") before running it. The program's instructions will let you know if you need to do this. Many antivirus vendors have already changed the names in their removal tools — in some cases calling the file a misspelled variant of "Conficker" — to trick the worm into letting the program run. Click for related content Internet worm set to change tactics April 1 Reports of Internet crime jump 33 percent Stolen-data trove offers look inside a botnet Businesses have a bigger challenge, because Conficker has yet another method for evading detection. Once the worm is inside a machine, it applies its own version of the Microsoft patch that fixes the vulnerability Conficker exploited in the first place. So a business running a standard network scan, looking for unpatched machines, might come up empty-handed, even though some computers on the network are infected. The scans need to take a deeper dive into the machines on the network — something an antivirus vendor's service should enable. For government agencies, contractors and operators of critical infrastructure, the Department of Homeland Security also has released anetwork-detection tool for Conficker. source: http://www.msnbc.msn .com/id/29975229/wid /11915829?GT1=40006

A man is talking to the family doctor. "Doc, I think my wife's going deaf." The doctor answers, "Well, here's something you can try on her to test her hearing. Stand some distance away from her and ask her a question. If she doesn't answer, move a little closer and ask again. Keep repeating this until she answers. Then you'll be able to tell just how hard of hearing she really is." The man goes home and tries it out. He walks in the door and says, "Honey, what's for dinner?" He doesn't hear an answer, so he moves closer to her. "Honey, what's for dinner?" Still no answer. He repeats this several times, until he's standing just a few feet away from her. Finally, she answers, "For the eleventh time, I said we're having MEATLOAF!"
