  1. "It seems you a deep rooted inferiority complex and hence the overpowering need your likes have to lash out at the Duke." "Oodweyne: Unlike Mr Liqiye AKA Dayniile.com editor made some valid points, even the attacks on ME, where much more effective. Live and learn." lol THE duke how many posts is it going to take for you to realize, that attempting an original thought on your part is just going to take up bandwidth?
  2. Its not an attempt at psychoanalysis Duke, an analysis supposes that there is a conundrum to solve, where as your just a tribalist with internet access. End of analysis. I was not attacking you, a normal human being would not feel attacked by being called a biped. I have no issues with THE duke, I have an issue with disease masquerading for discourse and since tibalism and clannism is a disease I just point it out where I encounter it, you would not allow a leper to run amok in a community council swimming pool with out informing others of what you know, would you. As for your attempt at drawing me into a debate over your newly formulated question, forgive me but, I TOO overwhelmed with the breadth and depth of the copy pasting I need to do to respond.
  3. ^^^^ Within 2 minutes somebody makes a viable and debate able connection.
  4. Duke who wants to talk certainly not me, really are you using all the brain power that God gives a normal functioning human being to twist and turn every thing into your clan vs clan ethos? Duke you are not capable of discussing issues or ideas in a manner that has no direct link with the trauma that might have happened to you as a child, while history must not be forgotten, it must be such a burden to re-fight so many battles in cyberspace whose outcomes are well documented in reality [which is all that space that exists outside of your mind Duke]. What happened Duke did you for a moment think you could deduce your own opinions from a set of evidence. Why did you think people would care enough to debate your copy paste? Why are attempting to make a cogent argument when we all know where it will lead. Now just admit that in this particular foray into self expression and lateral thinking you failed, and next time you try, you will make a connection that will not be laughed at by a 12 year old.
  5. No you cannot, you cant even recognize the fact that there are no similarities between the article you copy pasted [which is the extent of your contribution] and the situation in Somalia.
  6. Duke is trying to think for himself, but to a brained accustomed to going down the well worn paths of supporting the tribal line in every thought, amateurish attempts can be the only result. There is no connection. Go bark up some other tree.
  7. Intreasting article on ugandan troops in somalia from the independent and highly rated New vision Quote of intreast: "In the central town of Mahas, witnesses said Shabaab fighters beheaded a local elder and burnt his body on Sunday. "We have carried his bones and some of his burnt flesh and had a burial this morning," resident Ahmed Farah told Reuters. "They always do this when they want to terrorise residents.""
  8. I mean it is so delusional, C'mon fess up J.B your special flavor of reasoning is written all over that post...
  9. He has exactly the same clipped non-sequitur delivery of something that J.B would write. Every thing can be solved by the recognition of somaliland, and every shameful act will be done in search of that recognition. Indeed I also think it is J.B
  10. ^^^ What people fail to understand is that they are in operation and philosophy thinking in terms outside of somaliya haa nolato, if they were they would at the very least accepted a ceasefire, so as to remove a cassus belli of the goverment. Either it was incompetence on their part or sheer bloodymindedness.
  11. "For the moment al-shabaab seem terrifying, they control the land, they are the victors of the fight, there sacrifices allowed for your peace caravan to start ambling along its way, they have given pride to the somali people. Every day their invective gets more hoarse, their deliberations seem to point to one thing how and where will you be killed you Murtad. In such a situation it would be easy to invest energy and your meager resources into counter acting the thunder and lightning, but these are phenomena that though spectacular kill only 100 people a year more die from allergies of nuts than are killed by lightning. The al-shabaab are through unfortunately they are the last to notice. They are an alien implant, all their wippings and shootings, their bombings and arabic kunyas, their viciousness and lack of finesse, their emulation of a defeated organisation [al-qaeda] and kharajite ways were put up with by the somali populace for two reasons only they were fighting the ethiopians and they brought immediate peace to wherever they black flags were painted. The ethiopians overt uniformed presence has gone and the peace they peddle has already proven to be too heavy handed to the Somali people be it in their social lab kismayoo or in their other experiment Dhuusa Mareeb. With that there two main reasons for existence have been erased, but in their own plodding and blundering way they are attempting to create other reasons for self perpetuation, namely the creation of an islamic emirate, the liberation of somalia galbeed and the removal of another western puppet in Mogadishu" As I said the al-shabaab have over reached they may be fundamentalist sheikhs but they are not military men. The president has made it clear he wants to negotiate with anyone at anytime. The intransigence of al-shaabab has drained there support among the populace. From a movement that started with food being provided by the old women of mogadishu as they struggled with APRCT to one that rides roughshod over the population and bombards and fights like they are fighting in a tabula rasa! They do not have the support of the people nor the military or strategic acumen to survive with out it. This over reaching will bite them in ****.
  12. You must have the power of prophecy like cassandra.
  13. "^^ Former Comrade(and current enemy) AT&T" Why are you debating with him, send him an internet bomb in the name of jamiatul - Internet service provider. "It all makes sense now. The one thing that unites you all is a virulent hatred and fear of the Islamism. No problem. You will be tamed and domesticated, inshallah." You are very frustrated.
  14. Mogadishu is somalia, no aggregation of tuulo and diaspora websites will change that. P.S I was being sarcastic
  15. Bravo Bravo. The future of Somalia.

Xiinow have things changed brother? First laws of life "do not quote poetry to a swordsman" military defeat rather than moral reasoning is the only thing that will obliterate al-shabaab.
  17. Somalia: Sheikh Aweys Rejects to Meet With Sheikh Sharif. A leading opposition figure in Somalia has rejected calls to meet with Somali President Sheikh Sharif Ahmed, Radio Garowe reports. Sheikh Hassan Dahir Aweys, who was the Somali President's ally in 2006, told reporters Sunday in the capital Mogadishu that the new government in Somalia is intended to defeat the Islamists. "I cannot think of a reason to talk to [somali President] Sheikh Sharif, who is being used to destroy Islamists in Somalia," Sheikh Aweys said, adding: "We are open only to talking with the international community." Sheikh Aweys noted that he does not believe that the new government works for the interests of the Somali people, but is "certain that the new government is in the pocket of the international community and is being used." He rejected meeting face-to-face with the UN-recognized Somali President, who was elected by parliament in January at the conclusion of UN-sponsored peace talks in the neighboring Republic of Djibouti. Yesterday, President Sheikh Sharif told a press conference in Mogadishu that Sheikh Aweys should join the peace process. READ: Somalia's leader condemns attacks, but avoids blaming groups Sheikh Aweys, who is on the U.S. terror list, returned to Mogadishu last month after spending more than two years exiled in Eritrea. He has demanded the withdrawal of African Union peacekeepers (AMISOM) who are in Mogadishu to support President Sheikh Sharif's weak interim government.
  18. Islamist rules out Somalia talks Sheikh Hassan Dahir Aweys Sheikh Hassan Dahir Aweys is seen as Somalia's kingmaker Somalia's influential Islamist leader has ruled out holding talks with the president to end years of violence. Sheikh Hassan Dahir Aweys called on Islamists to continue fighting the government led by moderate Islamist Sheikh Sharif Sheikh Ahmed. Mr Aweys returned to Somalia last month from exile in Eritrea, raising speculation that he might again work with the president. The pair were joint leaders of a group ousted from Mogadishu in late 2006. Ethiopian troops helped government forces topple their Union of Islamic Courts, after it had gained control of most of southern Somalia. But January saw Mr Ahmed elected president as part of a UN-brokered peace deal which saw Ethiopian troops leave the country. The president had said he was open to talks with Mr Aweys, who is seen as a kingmaker in Somali politics. map of areas under al-shabaab control Somalia's kingmaker returns But after his return to Mogadishu, it was not clear whether Mr Aweys would join forces with President Ahmed or the al-Shabab Islamist radicals. "While we are sticking to our policy, he [President Ahmed] entered into a different politics. Therefore, I am not ready to hold talks with him now," he told reporters in Mogadishu. "[President] Sharif is in the same trench with the international community and we are against it." The US accuses both Mr Aweys and al-Shabab of links to al-Qaeda. Al-Shabab operates freely in much of southern Somalia, while Mr Ahmed's government only controls small pockets of the country. Islamist rules out Somalia talks
  19. Thierry you have a point there a 16 year old amir that sounds ridiculous.
  20. Who is "we" and is "we" a militarily viable force?
  21. "Once they go, an all-out war must be declared on Alshabab and petulant beared jaahiliin, who are mostly from rural background." Hehhehe
  22. Sheikh Hassan Dahir Aweys has officially come out and said that he will not negotiate with the goverment in any way shape or form until the withdrawal of AMISOM forces occur then talks can be held with "our deceived brothers"! If any of you have been keeping tabs on the SWAT valley issue, how much more can be done to appease the shabaab less than full surrender to their agenda?
  23. Yes that in it self is the crux of the matter, if you are a reasonable person who supports the goverment you appreciate the fact that a well trained somali peace force has to be created before any withdrawal by AMISOM forces can be made. If on the other hand you are a partisan and support shabaab by urging for the withdrawal of AMISOM with out being replaced by a credible force [which the shabaab have failed to prove to be in Kismayoo or Baidoa areas with much less calsulation in solving the basic problem] then you are merely supporting knowningly or otherwise the perpetuation of the previous status quo. What say you?
