  1. ^^^LooooL. Rudy Meister why jamaican? Lexus, Honesty is the best Policy abaayo. Be direct and tell him this I am only 18 and I am not ready for a serious relationship.......Maybe in 3 years time.
  2. ^^^Warheedheh, Metrosexuals are STRAIGHT MEN who have good grooming habits as well a fashion sense. Zu, he is not a wanna be, he is not a bad boy at all, but rather a man who has qualities of a nice guy at the same time who isn't afraid to stand up for himself, and get gully dee (when push comes to shove!) Afro, I'm like so freaking awesome dude, and that is like so my freaking Word! BTW, I have been on a mary Jane free diet for the last 19 years dude.
  3. Men! crack yourself up? Why don't you crack yourself down, preferably into a wall ( ) Qac, in 2005, Metrosexuals are like so freaking in dude not bad boys. As if!
  4. ^^^ I thought the star represented the five regions of Somalia, which were divided by the colonial powers; Og*denia, The Northern Frontier, Italian Somaliland, British Somaliland, and Djibouti? I love google.
  5. Originally posted by Legend of Zu: Sounds Oxymoron to me..how can he be bad boy if he gives respect??? UUNGGGGHH!! Cheers Maandhow, because maybe he isn't a bad boy! BTW UUNGGGGHH!! to you too. Pili Pili, remind me to show you my new haircut.
  6. Personally, I like the Bad Boy attitude with the nice guy respectability nooh . Whereas a nice guy will walk you home from the library after a long study session and not demand anything of u as if he is entitled just because he helped u, like a bad boy would, Whereas a nice guy listens to hours of sobbing and tells you you're pretty while you scrutinize two sentences a bad boy said to you and shovel Ben and Jerry's Chunky Monkey into your red, swollen face, LooooooL, War Balaayo. So basically Nice guys are safe, submissive, and act like our girlfriends? How nauseating! BTW, Pili Pili. It seems as though you have had some run- ins with bad boys, Care to share? you know strictly for educational purposes, and all

    MAY 18th

It’s all about clan-politics and as long as you hail from a particular clan, you are guilty by association. Here here! BTW, Northerner, maandhow let the dead rest in peace.
  10. ^^^ How is he bashing women? I read his post, and I agreed with most of what he wrote(apparently), since it's truth.
  11. Rahima, both sexes should know better in my opinion, but you asked why is that ?, in regard to Femme's statement, therefore I was explaining the reason why that is the case. would give your daughter more heat over such issues than your son for example? No,I wouldn't. What I would actually do to them is considered illegal in all 50 states.
  12. Rahima, from society's standpoint, the girl should be given more heat simply, because usually it's the girl who lets the guy "get it," or not. Basically, the boy can ask, but the decision is left up to the girl. She can either refuse like a good girl, or accept like a wh!re. Originally posted by HALIMA ABDUL: WHY IS IT THAT WHEN A GIRL SLEEPS WITH MEN SHE GETS CALLED A *** BUT A MAN GETS CALLED A HERO Because we live in a patriarchal social system in which women are treated like second class citizens abaayo.
  13. ^^^Thyroid is also a cartilage therefore, it can't just be called Qanjir/Qanjidh or a gland. Besides, it's referred to as Fiix in af Somali like Sue stated.

    Somewhere

Freewrite In 1960 I arose from the ashes Like a phoenix Only to die again In 1970 I arose once more in a day Only to be taken away In 1980 I was revived And this time I tried to live For I was weak So Desperately I clutched The bird of peace Only to let it free In 1990 I shook hands With greed Rubbed bellies With famine I drank the blood Of my dying people As it seeped into my womb In 2000 I watched as waste Were laid to rest At my blue shores I watched as seeds I planted formed roots In different places I became a land of many Faces Faces who are ashamed To be of me To come from me For they have abandoned me Like an unwanted cousin Leaving me alone to die To wither way like A candle lit in the wind And I wonder As I often do wonder If history does repeat itself Will this then be my fate again?

  17. I was just giving props where props is due dear. Btw, what led you to believe that contraflow might "mistake the modern ambouli airport-djibouti with egal airport-hargeysa?"
  18. Atleast they have an airport where planes actually take off and land safely.
  19. I don't wanna be a female no more.
  20. Seeker, we both agree fate is something that you as an individual have no control over but what I'm saying is that, what if Allah SWT fated for the couple to never ever leave each other, how will they then be able forget they met and each go their separate way? Silence, laba jir ku yidhi lool Maandhow, from what I understand (correct me if you like)as long as the two don't talk about "nasty" topics nor touch each other in a sexual way, and have a chaperone/behave themselves they aren't sinning, or are they?
  21. First of all, if this girl was my child, intaan karbaasho baan kamatajin lahaa. The way she was acting was beyond belief and if I was her parent I would be humiliated, but like you all I think the police and the school administators could of handled it in a better way rather than handcuffing her. After all she is just freaking five years old dude. I think they should of called her parents to come and get her while the police tried to calm her down. After couple of days, then they should of scheduled a conference to talk about the incident as well as steps that need to be taken so that such an incident doesn't occur ever again but what I don't understand is why in the media most African-Americans are using the race card and insist that it was racial profiling? If it was you in this situation what would you do? I would sue the pants of that school and the police department! are you kidding me!
  22. Silence, what led you to believe the 3 years the couple spent together was sinful? aren't we being a bit presumptuous? South: Forget we met and each goes a separate way letting God rule our destiny. That direction, seeker, is a bit of a contradiction. You're saying that you should (have the power to) forget and leave each other, completly ignoring the fact that being together might be your destiny meaning you might not never ever  leave each other yet on one hand say, by letting go of each other you're letting God rule your destiny???
  23. Wind Talker You turncoat, you! How dare you, H.E Abdulaahi Yusuf is a saint.

    Home

Where is Home exactly? See, when ever I ask this question, many answer Somalia or what ever country they're from but they can't explain (or may be they don't give me a sufficient explanation) what makes Somalia or any other country home. Is it the memories, the place or something else that calls to you? Basically, where is home to you and why?
