^Fair enough, but to show arrogancy on others despair is an ugly trait, no matter how provoked you get, no need to get so cocky. As for the unnecessary fights - its tragic and trully unfortunate. I remember Dr Hawa's words about casiinimo, when one forgets that their lineage doesnt necessary only consists of the male linage, but that of their mothers, aunties, uncles, cousins etc. Markaa dadkuu waa daad iis dalee - its unfortunate that cadoow isku noqdeen..
-
^The likes of you halaa maqloo miyaa? ..Adiga hadhaa anaan Somali eheen yaa tahay?? - What an idiotic logic.
-
^Huh? Okie Dokie..lol, must have seen a reflection of us on your night glass of milk. For those still awake - More4 is showing an interesting documentary on the aftermath of civil war in Sierra Leone - How the brutal conflicts have left thousand severly traumatised - mental health on the rampage..subhanallah.
-
Subhanallah! It gets to a stage when one doesnt know how to feel anymore - numb - just another day huh? Subhanallah..
-
Innaa lillaah wa innaa illayhi raajicuun. Oz dear, May Allah elevate your father's status among the guided people and look after the family that he left behind. O Lord of the universe! Forgive us and him, comfort him in his grave and lighten his stay (in the grave] Aamiin Samiir iyo imaan brother - Pole ndugu yangu, ndio ukubwa huwo.
-
^Blah blah blah..you sound like a broken down record.
-
^Loool - Alla maxaa Carabtuu iney iis dumisaa rabtaa - they forgot how they cheered when Saddam went down huh?
-
@CL - should have fob off the cat to me, my princess wants a pet, that hopefully wont end up being buried in the back garden..lol As for your New Year resolution - I could suggest giving your time volunteering in the " feed the homeless" schemes around London, or give your time to mentor young people - All that said, aaaaaw bless!..keep the momentum going - kindness is rewarding.
-
^ :D - I love the sense of esteem ee reerkinaa uu manaaysaa..masha'allah..Loool Sayid bax!
-
^Wcs Wr Wb Lol@declaration of love - maa aragtee, how we roll. We love each other for the sake of sisterhood, adigu naa waxaad tahay the chairlady - so no need for declaration, yours is guranteed. Soo dhoowoo hee - anigu waan baxee - off to a meeting, am not so prepared for, was busy telling off nuune, when I should have been paying attention to the notes..arrrgggh..
-
, sidhaa aad adigu diblee uu tahay , Odayguu naa wuu aha. I can introduce you to my old lady friend, so you can get an insight to history by those whom lived it..hehe
-
nuune, shaah iyo shaxaad yar baa laa iska siyaa dee..heh. I honestly enjoy the company of elders - some of them can be naughty especially the men..heh. I have an old lady friend, she tells me stories of when she was a girl and Sayidka rampaging their village...she sometimes forget, I am not her age..she asks me if I remember berigii ee abartaa dacdee ee gelkuu dintee oo laguu yaqee mel hebeel..I tend to nod, smile and later tell her - maxaa kaa oog ahay geel iyo abaar iyo Sayidkii iyo dulki - sijuyaad baan ahay ..heh, we laugh and the conversation goes on..
-
^I second that, nuune quruubo joogto asaal baad noqootee - how could you ignore elders sitting right infront of you? The were trying to engage you in small talk, I have heard such a way of attracting ones attention - anigo meel tagaan baa mar mar maqlaa, " maa Soomali baa" - I usually turn and say " haa iga maa xigtiid [my favourite phrase with Jac]"..Lol its bad manners to ignore elders - anigu koleybaa I prefer them to young men/women.
-
@ Sayid, it matters not who pays us both, alliances are still for the Queen..hehe Taleexi - Good Morning iyo xurdoo macaan dee.
-
^I see kaching, kachings ....better go back to miyi, explore possibilities..fed up of being an employer of the Queen..lol Morning all.. Chimera, hmmmmm..nuune would be here soon to give you a diagnois if that was the effect of cheese or perhaps a jiins influence..lol
-
^Aaaw bless - was your thread 'Women's role in society' your way of passifying the women folk here?..bless! - that failed miserably - dont you agree?
-
^ Swahiligu wexee yiradaan nin kuu cayeyaa cay kumuu doriin - one that insults you dont choose the insults...pheew, my one a day isku *** ***. CL - soon dear, soon..started making contacts with old friends and acquintances - you know in africa its who you know, not what you know..hehe
-
^LOL - Abtigiis waa oday oo dani gar lugu yere..imagine that! - yaa xiniyoo ii siyaa, would have loved to be part of those sort of garta..lol - its so unfair, women arent part of 'gartaa'..ciil badanaa..its only the men that get to be part of these so called 'advice/solution' meetings to maritual affairs..hehe
-
Aah - CL, love you too..mac mac dear..zaa masiku??

^Noooo..that is not nice. Dee miyaanadaan arkiin the progress, some of us have done since we joined SOL? Poster, its okay. Your not the only one, take your Abti Ngonge iyo Ayee CL - their Somali was so bad, but after few years on SOL they are experts now - Ayee CL can sing Somali, Abti Ngonge can recite and compose Somali poem - dont despair!
