To be neutral one has to have a depth of understanding in the complexity of the Somali conflicts. Am I neutral in these conflict?,It is difficult to be anything else but neutral if one comes from my sort of family.My family is very close knitted, we love and really look after each other, our family like many other Somali families consist of many Somali tribes, from Issaq, ******, ****** plus the subclans. I understand the fear in Somalis, it has cause even for an uncle and his nephew to hate each other.. I dont look at a Somali and see an enemy, I see a sister, brother... I stay neutral only because, I got far too much invested in all parties...my wonderful family!nothing will jeapordise those relationship,even the twisted trabilist mentality which seem to be a norm of engagement in our communities.

The day I will celebrate would be the day, where any Somali can live in peace and in prosperity where ever he/she find themselves within Somalia, when, where you call home isnt necessary linked with your 100th ancestor.

^^^You are both right, I was just venting my frustration with Somalis..lol This morning,an email was circulating in heads of departments from the headteacher,in regard to a pupil[somali].His "guardian" has refused to visit him in hospital,after an incident in school. Unless the social services pay his expenses..Hadaa the bloke is serious and wont go to see his so "Brother" until the school and social services fork out the money...Can you believe the drama!!how embarrasing,here I am always preaching how family oriented we are...darn!!

Laakin,why do Somalis love the drama, they did the same in our local royal mail, tesco's..How come the pakistanis,Indians and other muslims know what is their priorities.They know inaan duul galoo jognaa, they still hold on to their religion,culture etc and still make it in the economic ladders.But the Warya's the drama queens,whom really just love the attention,will claim to be far more religious and jeapordise their lively hoods for what they are really not.I am sure they can find a balance, why not pray during their lunch breaks? Come on guys its the new age, its only natural for the kid to have had developed such emotions,now days kids spend hours on the net,chatting to friends etc..its no longer cool,to just send each other little notes via friends.
