  1. I havent lived in the Islamic countries, but in Africa it happens in small scales ,especially in the coastal towns..where there is high influence of other cultures and people. These sickos come from different walks of life, you can never trust human beings...You might assume that the threat is outside, but hey its been known those who abuse kids come from the within circle...so called uncles, cousins, friends, maalims etc etc...beware!!
  2. Rahima,I think we have already secured so many citizenships,of many variety of nationalities..most through begging, jailing, lying etc etc.. Bixii..groups,will only breed further more gap in the society,it will create further more competition,we had enough of reer heblaa, iyo reer heblayoo..
  3. -------------------------------------------------- Muniira --- It is not a generalization but a fact. Just look at your last experience and see how unromantic you were. Loool, assumption, assumptions are dangerous yaa Bixii.I will leave it to that,I am assuming you have had a bad experience with a sister whom is not like minded..
  4. 5. Lool..CC Amiin..Chubacka It must take such rage for one to loose ones sense of reality. If you kill him/her what is there to gain? The most satisfactory thing in a dysfactional relationship is to walk way,and find someone to have a healthy relationship....but most crime of passion are spur of a moment..so one can never say never!
  6. ^^^Isnt that a tad bit of generalisation? Do some Somali men appreciate romance? Do they know what is Romantic and what not?
  7. "but if this is true then the world is taking the right step to secure the right borders according to the new call of Africa to arrange the colonial borders of Africa." As far as the partition of Africa and the delimination of its borders are concern they are generally considered to have been arbitrary acts,by many Africans, the Colonial powers then imposed the conditions without references to locals...Or are you saying the SL folks had an input in this process? Lets ponder on this statement......."a Union of Somalia states will project more effectively the Somalian personality." alright!, I changed the words of Nkurumah on his dream for Africa.
  8. Indian's are strange people, even those whom are muslims they have so many different sects, with their own interpretation of Islam.Let alone the one that dont know Allah,so much confusion..but one thing they value more than anything, even with their religion castes is MONEY!..If your a Patel,a gold smith your on the high religious sects...
  9. Innalillah wainaillahi raj'un. Due is to Allah, that which he has taken away and his is whatever he has given. With him, every thing has an appointed term;so have patience and seek reward from Him. Samiir iyo imaan wallalo!

  14. I was posted this by a friend,he thought that would cheer me up..what you all think,do you agree? This was definetly written by a man! Great to be a woman Reason's why it's great to be a woman Free drinks. Free dinners. Free movies. New lipstick gives you a whole new lease on life. If you have to be home in time for EastEnders, you can say so, out loud. You can sleep your way to the top. You can sue the President for sexual harassment. No one passes out when you take off your shoes. Excitement is only as far away as the nearest beauty-supply store. You'll never have to punch a hole through anything with your fist. You can quickly end any fight by crying. Your friends won't think you're weird if you ask whether there's spinach in your teeth. There are times when chocolate really Can solve all your problems. You've never had a goatee. You'll never regret piercing your ears. You can fully assess a person just by looking at their shoes. You know which glass was yours by the lipstick mark. It's great to be a guy Reasons why it's great to be a guy A five day vacation requires only one suitcase. Old friends don't annoy you if you've lost or gained weight. You don't have to lug a bag of useful stuff around everywhere you go. You can go to the bathroom without a support group. Your last name stays put. You can leave a hotel bed unmade. You get extra credit for the slightest act of thoughtfulness. You never have to clean the toilet. You can be showered and ready in 10 minutes. Wedding plans take care of themselves. If someone forgets to invite you to something, he or she can still be your friend. Your underwear is $10 for a three pack. You don't have to shave below your neck. Everything on your face stays its original color. You can quietly enjoy a car ride from the passenger seat. Flowers fix everything. You never have to worry about other people's feelings. Three pair of shoes are more than enough. You can say anything and not worry about what people think. Michael Bolton doesn't live in your universe. You can whip your shirt off on a hot day. You don't have to clean your apartment if the meter reader is coming by. Car mechanics tell you the truth. You don't care if someone notices your new haircut. You can watch a game in silence with your buddy for hours without even thinking: He must be mad at me. One mood, all the time. You can admire Clint Eastwood without starving yourself to look like him. Gray hair and wrinkles add character. You don't care if someone is talking about you behind your back. The remote is yours and yours alone. People never glance at your chest when you're talking to them. You can drop by to see a friend without bringing a little gift. You needn't pretend you're "freshening up" to go to the bathroom. If you don't call your buddy when you say you will, he won't tell your friends you've changed. If another guy shows up at the party in the same outfit, you might become lifelong buddies. You don't have to remember everyone's birthdays and anniversaries.
  15. Well, lets be honest, where do people meet now days? After a long day at work, one comes home, slope infront of the tv...or that could just be me..oh dear, what are these sites called??
  16. Masha'allah For those of us that were born in Islam take the deen for granted, and many of us.Once we left the madrassa,we never seeked the knowledge further.Few of my friends are converts and tell you they put me to shame, they are so pationate about the deen.Alhamdulillah!

Northerner,loool..your disappointed because the sister told the truth and not sugar coat her experience in Burco?..
  19. ""You feel high, but you're still alert and know what you're doing. You have power and energy, and most important, it makes you incredibly horny," Does Khaat give similar effect?,if so it must be darn hard being in a room full of men, when one is being "incredibly horny"

And my very own personal fav....the "Sucks-Really-Bad-In-Bed Guy. Walle waad udibtee..lol!! thats called telling like it is..
  21. Chubaka, A couple of years ago a Somali womens group was campaigning for the substance to be banned,it got to the parliment, but with no results. If we make enough noises,I am sure the goverment will review the case for banning Khat in UK. I have first experience of the devostation caused by Khaat to families. It just destroys the coreness of a family structure, if the husband is awake all night, chilling with his homies, negleting his wife etc etc.During the day where others are out working for their families the men are asleep, negleting to provide for their families, and am sure they are not doing any constructive parenting either.... what a waste of a life!,no wonder there is a high divorce rate in the community.
  22. Zu, I know the mosques...lol,its just opposite our street, just few blocks away from the main Aga Khan temple or mosque on Malik road. What were you doing all the way from Buguruni, coming to pray in Upanga? Kariakoo , has changed drastically with high raising blocks erupting every where..mainly buildt by Arabs and Somalis.I had only been once to Temeke my whole life in Dar es salaam,Buguruni was near Ilala so mahaa?
