Who know... Said. Aaw! How idealic are these women, mashaallah! Women who love too much rings a bell here...especially the last woman putting up with such a man! She sounds like she has given up,lacking self esteem etc etc.. Blaming on Allah! even Qaadir Allah can be changed by the power of prayers and dua. Sharmaarke bring something else!

Lol, Lily, Nah! I stick with my interpretation of what is xawaash. My understanding is what we put in the Maraaq,is xawaash, what we put in the tea is xawaash ,they are just different types of xawaash.

Lol..Loz chinese aa! I was asked once, what language do I use when thinking, when I thought about its,I use English in my thoughts, despite Swahili and Somali being the main home languages. I usually have a role play acting scenes in my thoughts..alot of debating goes on with myself and my inner selves. But when expressing myself to others I tend to be more calm, very collective in what I say..just the opposite of what goes on within myself when on my own..much more drama within.[doest this mean am a mad woman in disguised..Lol] When am talking on the phone or in deep thoughts I doddle, usually its a 3D square shapes!

fat boy, There are many different levels of Zina. The highest and the worst type would be sexual intercourse and it is to this type that the punishment of stoning or lashing will apply. Looking at a female who is haraam to one, listening to her voice without necessity, speaking to her, touching her are all forms of Zina and are sins albeit lesser than intercourse. and Allah Ta'laa Knows Best! Insha'allah other Solers might shade more light into the topic.

Naomi & Nephthys I see there is a difference in dialect here, you call sauce suugo,we call maraaq, you call coffe Qaxwoo we call it buun! simple nothing a big deal just different words different meaning in different parts of Somalia. Yes Xawaash is used in tea!!,doesnt Xawaash mean spices? isnt Candemonian, clove, cinnamon types of spices? Oh well for some of us,Shaax with xawaash just means shaax with xawaash!..

^^Girl this sharmarke dude likes you .. Ramadan Kariim to all! Although its encouraged to give through out ones life, but please make ramadan a special time for those in need too by giving charity to the poor. There is about 10 of us that had been taught from the same madrassa and every year before ramadhan we contribute each at least £30-50 and send it to the masjiid + macaaliims that had taught us the deen.I had learned alot from those macaalims, even though half the time I used to bunk off!, They are also raising many orphans,in their humbled dwellings. Remember that friend, that neighbour, that teacher etc whom is struggling to make ends meet back home, for your little gift would make a whole lotta difference!

This is a tough one! I would want my baby back, but would like to be in a mutual agreement with the other parents to keep intouch with the other baby.I would learn to love my bloodbaby and yet still have the love for the other baby regardless of the situation.

What can one say but to make dua: O Allah, You ordained us to be united and gave us a rope (Quran) to hold onto, but sometimes we are united only in fighting each other. Give us in our hearts love of each other and respect for others’ lives. O Allah, many Somalis are living under oppression or as refugees. O Allah, give us leaders who are wise and pious. O Allah, You who put love in the heart of believers, unite us now so that we can recognize our enemy, the Satan[his allies -Ethiopia/USA]. O Allah,Help us achieve this by establishing Islam in ourselves, our families, our community and our country Somalia. Amiin!

Nothing beats, hanging around all day indoor with your hubby in your pajamas, messed up hair!Pure bliss! I personally dont do girl girl outings,I prefer to hang out with the dude's,I find men great company, with the jokes, laughs and basically a chilled out atmosphere. If I want to do fun things what beats then being a centre of attention among a group of guys!,I also prefer to do certain things alone, like going to the gym, book stores,shopping..I am a loner, a comfotable loner at that! As for letting yourself go after tieing the knot, its just natural one feels loved and accepted for what they are,not what their external image is.

^^Does that advice/info come from an experience? Oh well even the Prophet[saw] married a matured, wealthy woman, bi Khadija !its not a new phenomenal, we matured women rock!!

Horta whats up with this constant complaining some somali women do about their spouses,..its constant wuxuu sameeyee, wuxuu sameyniin..blah blah blah!!! Honestly Umu stay away from these women, their issues will start to effect your relationship with your husband. They will start to assume, make you believe your husband is like their husbands and give opinion and meddle in your affairs. You know your husband well, and you my dear need to address the issue at hand with your husband before the crack gets wider. My dear Umu you just have to find what works for you and your hubby, I repeat dont listen to those women!!Their whispers you must avoid! Every household is different, every couple are different,am assuming everyones definition of romance is different, some might like flowers, others to be dined, some to have their feet washed, while taking a candle lit bath..Yes Skipper[Pinny]we have been brainwashed, I knew reading those mills and boons in my hay days will one day pay off!!..Lol
