  1. Sounds like a woman scorned, beware fellas there is'nt anything more dangerous then a woman scorned. Was this a premeditated crime, hence the knife in the truck.

Some assumptions you make there, the generalisation is a tad bit off putting.I am assuming your talking of a Muslim girl, then during her life time as unmarried woman she shouldnt have boyfriend in the first place. If your talking about those childish, love affair, were little notes and giggles are exchanged ,am sure thats not the kind of boyfriend/girlfriend the poster was aiming at. Second what is this about desparation? Under which constitution,it says a woman in her 30's or 40's,whom want to get married is desparate? Anyways let me not vent my hunger on you..sorry!
  4. I can not believe how hard today sawm has been, subhanallah for those whom have to experience this on a daily basis..all I can say Alxamdulillah!!
  5. ^^Lol@talk to my Lawyer Maa London iyo Toronto baa laa iskuu haystaa! Anyways Toronto is a beautiful place, but I found it boring..Where in London I dont think one can ever be bored..so much going on.[or it could be my host were boring..hmm]
  6. ^^Lol,a proud Londoner heh! Tagsiile, its a natural phase your going through brother, after divorce one tends to look at what one has to offer and how to adapt to the sudden changes in their circumstances. I am sure, being close to your kids is the paramount reason to moving to Toronto, which is applausable,as there are "some" men, as soon as they are divorced they turn away from their kids too. Divorce is a bummer! But there is a light at the end of the tunnel... As someone suggested, why not work and study at the same time, its doable. The courier thing isnt a bad idea,it will offer some flexibility to being able to pick or drop the kids to school,on days your not too busy..[sorry getting carried away planning your life for you..Lol]
  7. Two issues here,One of a temporary marriage other of teenage marriages. I believe the Shia's do practise temporary marriages which is called Mut'a,this is were there is a difference with the Sunni teachings, the Sunni authorities agree that mut'a was permitted by the Prophet at certain points during his lifetime, but they maintain that in the end he prohibited it completely. Couple of months ago I attended a friends daughter engagement party, her daughter is 16/17,her fiance was 18/19.At first I thought she was joking, but apparently in their community[Pakistani/Indian] its the norm, and has worked for her and many others in their community. The reason is to eliminate any fusuuq that young people might find them selves engaging in.The daughter is still in school, but sees her husband during the weekend untill they finish University ,when they can move in together. I believe its widely practised in Egypt too..

  9. ^^Hadaan garanii lahaa,I wouldnt be stuck in a 9-5 job! Oh why dont you become a minister/Ambassador in the new found peace keeping mission in Somalia, that way you can be right in there with the big fishes.. That is my plan hadhee!
  10. Originally posted by Nayruus: From the post above والوحدة see how strong they believe in the Somali unity. With the gazillion tons of American and European legal tenders they have they can make difference for Somalis. So we are back at the mercy of the American and Europeans? Where were the Saudis before the TFG and it's Ethiopian and American alliance came to power?
  11. ^^You tell us,why ? As you insist there is more to what Nephthys and cara said..
  12. ME,The price of oil has gone up, that was on the news this morning! The situation in the Middle East is complex, with complex motives from all those involved. US want cheap oil, Saudi wants protection of the super power. The question is who are the Saudi afraid of? Iran! The reason why there is an urgency to invade and rid off Iran of its nuclear power. So its no science fiction that they have created an alliance with the Sunni’s in Iraq to fight against Shi’a insurgents, just to create more tensions and fuel their plan. As for the Arms trade, the more pressures these conflicts create the more trading in arms, and who is benefiting from these arms deal if not the western arms manufacturer.
  13. I need to shake off this unhealthy attachment to Ghanima and her posts, were is she maanta?

Kool_Kat,I actually paid the man a compliment, didnt I call him a guru* in dealing with issues of the "xalimo's",am sure that would please him..
  16. Now North ,your not playing the victim card here are you?
  17. ^^ Are you really concerned?? or your just like most Somalis, they get a kick from discussing how many folk died when reer hebeel iyo reer hebeel fought.. Anyway! I pray those involved find a solution to this never ending madness.
  18. ^^Now Jac, that is an arrogant reply hadhee. It surely doesnt help when there is a sense of gloatness in replies to event that might be a tad bit too personal and painful to others. Oh well, how are we ever to move forward from this..

Skipper, you accuse Jacalybaro of being nice to the "xalimo's",as if he is committing a crime against the "farax's".You lack the understanding that his strategies has earned him many points with the ladies in the house, unlike your guru rudy..The ladies in here are sophisticated enough to shun upon the play ground tactics some of the "Farax's" seem to assume is the way to communicate with the "Xalimo's" only it doestnt work.. So Jacacylbaro,continue..Looool
  20. Lol..they just so deserved one another.. poor souls. “Sana said: "I thought I had found the love of my life. The way this Prince of Joy spoke to me, the things he wrote, the tenderness in every expression was something I had never had in my marriage.” Aaw, how betrayed she must have felt, that is just so typical. But served her right for accepting less. “Adnan said: "I was so happy to have found a woman who finally understood me. Then it turned out that I hadn't found anyone new at all.” Lol.What is there to understand, Baal why do all men whom cheat on their wives say,”oh my wife don’t understand me”..Blah blah!! What is there to understand, I believe men are very simple people to understand.
  21. Nephyths, what a woman! Sareen is wheat grain unprocessed hence the 7hr cooking time,or was that because we used duxuul in Africa..Hmm Mahrago = Beans , so is beans called soor? I thought Soor was Ugali..oh well!

  23. Ms Dh&Dh, the world is your oyster as they say,an intelligent woman like yourself would soon find a worthier cause to invest time, sweat and blood in..Good luck! Now,travelling sounds exciting!
  24. Lol,North iyo Hunguri make these women sound like restaurants..bisinkaa,get a chinese, thai kulaha!anyways that was my jealous side talking! Ghanima Back to the topic, reading with meaning is the key to reading Quran. Most of us had been taught Quran without understanding its meanings, the Quraan has a wealth of information and guidance. This surah is one of my fav,I quote it alot and do hope I live by its wisedom: al-'Asr In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful By (the Token of) Time (through the ages), Verily Man is in loss, Except such as have Faith, and do righteous deeds, and (join together) in the mutual teaching of Truth, and of Patience and Constancy. Subhanallah! Isnt that the whole truth and nothing but the truth! Time!awaits no man, better do the savings now for the here after, and yet live for the moment too..
