My dear brother Fahiye,The “concern” of some here was heightened by the fact that the "war" was framed as one of internal conflict-which is a deadly emotionalism-rather than as a war against specific lands and specific bodies.Hence the views and opinion expressed by most here. I agree with most of you that the people of SSC are faced with the test of preserving their rights and freedom of choice in the matters of SL or PL, and I hope the time has come for people of SSC to take action in preserving their right by being masters of their own affairs until there is much sense in where Greater Somalia would be heading. Brother Urban [assuming you’re a brother] Your not alone in this quest to sustains ones imaan all the time, we are mere human beings thus sometime are overtaken by our weakness which is the result of the whispers of the sheytan. I too find waking up at 4.30 am then not sleeping until late at night hard sometimes. Believe you me; it has been a struggle over the couple of years to fight and rebuke the sheytan, what helped me was, I kept reminding myself it’s only through Salaat that am connected to Allah. Increased my Zikr, constant listening or reading the Quraan...Plus making dua’s. You’re lucky in a sense you at least are aware. Your intellect is one of the greatest blessings that Allah has bestowed upon you. With the intellect you can distinguish between good and evil, between benefit and harm. Furthermore with the blessing of the intellect one is enabled to have foresight, reflection and contemplation of this vast creation and contemplation of the dominion of Allah. You’re in the right path brother, just stay strong, and fight the urge of allowing the whisper of the Sheytan to hold you back from being closer to your creator. I am at work now but will inshaallah post you couple of dua’s one can recite to enhance ones imaan..

Ms Dh,That reminds me of a question asked by a madrassa teacher,after driven up the wall by the Somali kids,she asked do you folks say Bismillah,or make dua before you meet[maritually]with your spouses?.. The hardest task that any one could undertake is the parenting tasks,subhanallah! One can only pray for his/her off spings to be those whom will be among the favoured by Allah.It crucial your child sees you do the right things,communicating with your child in a manner that it enhances their confidence in themselves and whom they ought to be.Teaching them what is wrong and right,by not being judgemental,or hypoctrite.Sorting out your own priorities interms what sort of a household will you be running,what sort of a lifestyle would you be indulging in etc etc. Children learn from examples,we all do certain things because our parents had taught us,or we had observed from them.

Hortaa why did he make such a prediction,bisinkaa! Death used to scare me,but am coming to terms with the whole notion of dying as time goes by.Nevertheless its a reality we all dont want to face to,as we go about our daily routines,plans for the future etc etc.. Now am scared!
