The Eid prayers was simply a breathtaking experience..Mashaallah the congregation reflected the beauty of the Deen of Allah and its diversity among man kind.. After prayers ,ofcouse it was time to stuff oneself with alot of sweets..Lol The next day a systematic family therapy session took place,alot of bonding/forgiving was done over plates of bariis and hiliib..Alhamdulillah!

^^The irony of it all heh!By God's will we have arrived at the heart of the America symbol of Americanism[if there is such a word..Lol]

Today I am rejoicing the "SOMALINIMO",I got off paying a parking ticket just because I was a Somali sister to the Somali brother that was issueing parking tickets, where I parked by mistake hurrying to a meeting...He cancelled as soon as he realised I was Somali...God bless him! God bless the Somali bus drive for stopping where he shouldnt stop to pick me up..

May Allah forgive my skeptism here,could this be a trendy thing to do..be a Muslim! From rapping about oppression of slavery ,segregation,ghetto,black on black violence,now to a much newer oppressed people..the Muslims! As I said may Allah forgive me for the assumptions,but anyone that has embraced true Islam,will by all means walk away from the life style most of these rap artist live and indulge in. I know a dude that owned several night clubs in London whom had embraced Islam,he sold everything just so he could lead an honest/clean life style.
