CL,thats kibr sister, there isnt anyone beneath anyone in this world. It doesnt mean because you work in an office and he a security guard your better human then him..What will be so bad to say Salaam to a fellow Somali/Muslim/human being? Shehe, said it all on the case of Serenity incident with the security guard. He openly showed disppointment, she felt slightly guilty and was selfconcious hence her being bothered about his attitude. The "masaar" created a sort of a bond,a connection between them as two Muslim people working in that building.

^Brother Xoogsade that is giving too much credit to US/UK involvement, they played a part but a small part..Which is great, its about time,African issues should be solved by Africans themselves. Credit should lay with the likes of Kofi Anan, the AU president and many other African leaders. The African leaders had realized that they did not have an opportunity to escape from solving the promblem in Kenya, otherwise it would have cause great instability all across its neighbouring countries. The impact of that short period of instability was felt,as far as Congo. The African Economy is booming as of current, they trully dont want to jeapordise going backward..for that I applaud the African Leaders for their contribution to bringing peace to Kenya. Brother Xiin, Can history shade some light in the lacking of understanding and appreciation for governance in Somalia? Were the Somalis a sophisticated civilazation prior to colonialism?

^But we did see the uglyness of tribalism in Kenya of recent,so it must have been silently brewing then.. Ofcourse, change should have come along time ago,but lets see what Raila will be all about, will he fulfill his promise to the people..we shall see! Yaa should be like TZ,we are more tolerant, calm and collective people.. despite our one party ruling since independence,we have sucessfully managed to get rid of Tribalism.

^Ibti, did you have to crush my romantic notions of pan africanism.. FB,It will require a great deal of self awareness of our core problem for us to ever surface from this nightmare.A love of a country/people steems from love of humility/God and so forth... Bravo! for the Kenyas to come to an agreement, but they do seriously need to work on their tribalist mentality that came to surface in these events.

^Do you think there was that much concern and interference from other African leaders when Somalia was at its earliest stages of collapsing Or was Somalia left to its own accord? Or could it be that AU has just resently found confidence in dealing with African affairs, or was the former OAU not compitent enough to deal with then raving mad Somalis'[still are...joke,haye] Saying that I applaud the intervention of these African leader, finally some sort of true pan africanism coming through..

Originally posted by NGONGE: By Robert Piggott Religious affairs correspondent, BBC News Turkey is preparing to publish a document that represents a revolutionary reinterpretation of Islam - and a controversial and radical modernisation of the religion. The country's powerful Department of Religious Affairs has commissioned a team of theologians at Ankara University to carry out a fundamental revision of the Hadith, the second most sacred text in Islam after the Koran. The Hadith is a collection of thousands of sayings reputed to come from the Prophet Muhammad. As such, it is the principal guide for Muslims in interpreting the Koran and the source of the vast majority of Islamic law, or Sharia. But the Turkish state has come to see the Hadith as having an often negative influence on a society it is in a hurry to modernise, and believes it responsible for obscuring the original values of Islam. It says that a significant number of the sayings were never uttered by Muhammad, and even some that were need now to be reinterpreted. 'Reformation' Commentators say the very theology of Islam is being reinterpreted in order to effect a radical renewal of the religion. Its supporters say the spirit of logic and reason inherent in Islam at its foundation 1,400 years ago are being rediscovered. Some believe it could represent the beginning of a reformation in the religion. Turkish officials have been reticent about the revision of the Hadith until now, aware of the controversy it is likely to cause among traditionalist Muslims, but they have spoken to the BBC about the project, and their ambitious aims for it. The forensic examination of the Hadiths has taken place in Ankara University's School of Theology. An adviser to the project, Felix Koerner, says some of the sayings - also known individually as "hadiths" - can be shown to have been invented hundreds of years after the Prophet Muhammad died, to serve the purposes of contemporary society. Astagfirullah! Turkey is so desparate to join the EU,it will go to any lenght to try and fit in..What a load of nonsense.Surely if they had done extensive research as they claim to have done surely they could have easily separate correct Hadiths from those fabricated[culturally influenced] ones. Why not compare the Hadiths they believe to be fake, against what the Quran says. This is an action of those misguided, they want to destroy the second source of Islam.Allah choose our prophet as the last prophet and messenger and made his law final and dominat law. We are required to believe in and implement his[Mohamed's]law till the Day of Resurrection. Allah will never ask people to implement a Law that is bound to be changed and corrupted.. What modernised society do they want to be??

Just looking at those pictures,I can forsee orchards of fruits acres and acres of it, I follow a little road that is under the shed of trees all along until reaching at the end, wow, what a beautiful sight,a fountain in the middle of the drive way. Oh I can see my little villa covered in wall hanging roses of all colour, flowers all around the front of the house. There is a small path leading to the back of the villa, further down this flowered path there it is, my stables. I bred prize winning horses here too...the beauty of the place is breath taking, you can hear the water gashing on stones,oh yeah..there is a river running through the land!..As I look further down I can see no end to the vast grazing lands, and my sheeps decorating the green scenery too..Oh I am blessed!
