  1. ^Hello Ms DD,your Kiswahili is rocking girl! hayee who is the teacher? KK,I love you for telling like it is..lol Ms DD,Abu sounds like he is a catch dee LOL..astagfirullah! *off to troll somewhere else*
  2. ^Neither am I,but in Troy he sure was eye candy. So ladies, what's new?
  3. What's the latest news in Zimbabwe?,perhaps Mugabe has taken him hostage. Lets hope all is well with him and his family.
  4. Can? Have you spoken to the young lady? I would say before you have reached any decision, first things first, start the communication ball rolling, the young lady might just surprise you, being western educated isn't all that sometimes. Some people are natural intelligent, give her the benefit of the doubt. Ask your mother to give you time to come to terms with the idea,am assuming its just an idea so far? All in all, nafta kheyr uu sheeg hedee! and let the will of God take over, either it will be or it wont be.One thing if this is proving to be such a hard decision to make,I would advice you better take your time with it,as marrying someone whilst under pressure isn't fair to anyone. And if this is meant my dear brother, you will feel the ease..When the will of God is at practice you wont even hesitate. Goodluck!
  5. ^Indeed the struggle is within one self, may we be among those whom had found 'peace and satisfaction' within our inner selves due to fully submission to our creator....Amiin 89. Surah Al-Fajr (The Break of Day or the Dawn) In the Name of Allah, The Most Gracious, Most Merciful 1. By the dawn; 2. By the ten nights (i.e. the first ten days of the month of Dhul-Hîjjah), 3. And by the even and the odd (of all the creations of Allâh). 4. And by the night when it departs. 5. There is indeed in them (the above oaths) sufficient proofs for men of understanding (and that, they should avoid all kinds of sins and disbeliefs, etc.)! 6. Did you (O Muhammad ()) not see (thought) how your Lord dealt with 'Ad (people)? 7. Who were very tall like lofty pillars, 8. The like of which were not created in the land? 9. And (with) Thamûd (people), who cut (hewed) out rocks in the valley (to make dwellings)? 10. And (with) Fir'aun (Pharaoh), who had pegs (who used to torture men by binding them to pegs)? 11. Who did transgress beyond bounds in the lands (in the disobedience of Allâh). 12. And made therein much mischief. 13. So your Lord poured on them different kinds of severe torment. 14. Verily, your Lord is Ever Watchful (over them). 15. As for man, when his Lord tries him by giving him honour and gifts, then he says (puffed up): "My Lord has honoured me." 16. But when He tries him, by straitening his means of life, he says: "My Lord has humiliated me!" ^These two ayahs reminded me of current situation with this madness of 'credit crunch' Contrast with God's justice and watchful care, man's selfishness and pettiness.God tries both by prosperity and adversity; in the one we should show humility and kindness; and in the other, patience and faith. On the contrary, we get puffed up in prosperity and depressed in adversity, putting false values on this world's goods...Subhanallah! 17. Nay! But you treat not the orphans with kindness and generosity (i.e. you neither treat them well, nor give them their exact right of inheritance)! 18. And urge not on the feeding of AlMiskîn (the poor)! 19. And you devour inheritance all with greed, 20. And you love wealth with much love! 21. Nay! When the earth is ground to powder, 22. And your Lord comes with the angels in rows, 23. And Hell will be brought near that Day. On that Day will man remember, but how will that remembrance (then) avail him? 24. He will say: "Alas! Would that I had sent forth (good deeds) for (this) my life!" 25. So on that Day, none will punish as He will punish. 26. And none will bind as He will bind. 27. (It will be said to the pious): "O (you) the one in (complete) rest and satisfaction! 28. "Come back to your Lord, Well-pleased (yourself) and well-pleasing unto Him! 29. "Enter you, then, among My honoured slaves, 30. "And enter you My Paradise!"
  6. Pheeew! Where are my fellow addicts? What I experience is what druggies must experience the so called going ' cold turkey' experience. 23. LOL@Bill Gate..check out his speech at a school. This should be posted in all schools and work places ... PS: I'm grateful I could read it ! Love him or hate him, he sure hits the nail on the head with this! Bill Gates recently gave a speech at a High School about 11 things they did not and will not learn in school. He talks about how feel-good, politically correct teachings created a generation of kids with no concept of reality and how this concept set them up for failure in the real world. Rule 1: Life is not fair - get used to it! Rule 2 : The world won't care about your self-esteem. The world will expect you to accomplish something BEFORE you feel good about yourself. Rule 3 : You will NOT make $60,000 a year right out of high school. You won't be a vice-president with a car phone until you earn both. Rule 4 : If you think your teacher is tough, wait till you get a boss. Rule 5 : Flipping burgers is not beneath your dignity. Your Grandparents had a different word for burger flipping: they called it opportunity. Rule 6: If you mess up, it's not your parents' fault, so don't whine about your mistakes, learn from them. Rule 7: Before you were born, your parents weren't as boring as they are now. They got that way from paying your bills, cleaning your clothes and listening to you talk about how cool you thought you were. So before you save the rain forest from the parasites of your parent's generation, try delousing the closet in your own room. Rule 8: Your school may have done away with winners and losers, but life HAS NOT. In some schools, they have abolished failing grades and they'll give you as MANY TIMES as you want to get the right answer. This doesn't bear the slightest resemblance to ANYTHING in real life. Rule 9: Life is not divided into semesters. You don't get summers off and very few employers are interested in helping you FIND YOURSELF. Do that on your own time. Rule 10: Television is NOT real life. In real life people actually have to leave the coffee shop and go to jobs. Rule 11: Be nice to nerds. Chances are you'll end up working for one. If you agree, pass it on. If you can read this - Thank a teacher!

    have you ever..

C&H, your 'friend'is suffering from low self esteem, those whom lack self awareness tend to br so negative about themselves and everything around them. Off topic: Someone said something about me,and I am so tempted to approach them, and give them my piece of mind..But again that will mean, what she said has disturbed my ego,and I would hate to let the ego control me...By heck! I shall be human and phone her tonight..argh  What do you girls think?
