  3. ^Perhaps she mean, mixing the corn flour and water in a small bowl before adding to the boiling water.
  4. ^Looooooooooooooool, you were not the guy that wore white shirt and trousers every day? I too stayed at Barakat for couple of days, when I got bored in Lavington.I have had enough of the sound of birds, daad iyo buuq baan rabee,so I was taken to Eastleigh.. Yeah,at night the lift and corridors smelled heavenly. At first I though waaw, dumarkaa meshaan degaan know their caataar, only not to see any woman during the day but only night times..May Allah forgive us. I was told the hotel is full of men from abroad with their dollar/pound money to be entertained..subhana llah!
  5. Okay, the place smelled terribly! Endend up ruining a pair of good shoes, still trying to get rid of stains on my clothes...I mean is that dust on those roads or something else,it stained my clothes.I kept expecting the tires on the car to bust, the pot-holes on the road are filled with stones! I loved the food though in the restaurants, ciil baa hiliib uu hayee, waan kaa soo deergee! The Somali beggers aa raxadaa igaa qaadee,Somali children and old ladies begging on the streets was hard to see. The nightlife of Eastleigh is something to write home about! am still shocked.
  6. Dhubad,it seems she is saying that I was the mad one there,WTH!..Lol Fu-fu, sijambo, nawe je?
  7. LOL@Ngonge, Lily? Ms DD, imagine sitting in a meeting, knowing two of the guys in that meeting are actually mentally disturbed, avoiding eye contact was hard..The strange thing is the rest of the supposedly 'normal' guys were listening and taking notes of what these two were saying.. I knew inaan anaguu oo daani 'mentally disturbed' aa..lol Ngonge, illahi yuu ii tuusiin conflict..amiin
  8. Originally posted by NGONGE: ^^ The two are not connected. Recognition will be sought regardless of the state Somalia is in. Peace in Somalia is hoped for at all times. If for nothing else, and just from an admin point of view, it will help ease the pressure on the government and allow the so called 75,000 'refugees' to return home (rather than doubling or trippling). Can I ?, pressure on the Goverment aa? You mean the SL goverment funds these refugees? You do know that most of the AID funds have been poured into SL and PL due to the fact that they are relatively calmer and in peace to the much needed areas in the Southern Somalia? Tell me how many NGO's are in SL? How much of the funds given by the EU goes into SL[not as a country but as SOMALIA]?
  9. ^Your response reminded me of this thread, to my disappointment[not with you] but the idea/thought/mentali ty. http://www.somaliaon line.com/ubb/ultimat ebb.php?/topic/9/168 87/3

I am waiting for Uncle Sam's coordinated aerial strikes on these anarchists. ^Your Uncle Sam,better stay away!..He is not invited to this party, better yet he can also take his puppets the AU with him and leave the matters to the waryas [skinies]to finish it off. The good Sheikh, need to call upon the peace loving Somali people for support and help..Ninkuu muu dadkaa lahadhloo, or speech isn't his strongest point? He needs to win peoples mind, we can only over come this madness if there is a merging of minds. Alshabaab, also need to ditch the foreigners, lets see hadaa laa isku haaro maxaa diici doona! This bloody unnecessary whirlwind of violence on already pressed people is an absolute tragedy!

  24. This hilarious thread came to mind, after my meeting with the men in the community yesterday. I asked, what do they think is the main causes of the high rate of divorce in our community. They all looked serious, and one of them said..erm,here women dont cook, and if they cook they dont serve and if they serve they dont clear/wash the dishes...An uproar between them, all in agreement. If only women knew their places, meaning if they were attentive to them they would have been better husband and divorce would have not been so high. , at that point,I realised I better carry on,as I was the only woman there...And some of them looked like they havent slept for days, didnt want to go home without my eyes.
  25. ^The good thing its Friday! few hours before home-time. I dont know how a parent could allow their sixteen yr old to bleach themselves, am sure one will notice their child complexion changes!
