We pray for peace. But what has happened during the past 6 months makes peace an elusive endeavour. I think somalia is sawing the seeds of yet another conflict. I don't know how Jeelle, Geedi, Maxamed Dheere, berlaawe and the rest would bring peace. The league of death, destruction. Please cease with glorifying the TFG. It is composed of a bunch of somalinimo killing thugs. It wouldn't surprise if in say a year somalia is back to square one - and that many of the supporters of the current TFG will start calling it names. Hal welec ah nirig xalaal ah ma dhashaa?

You can get away with calling people who disagree with you clanists. Time and again we have witnessed how you call ppl who disagree with you clanists, supporters of clan courts, and what have you. Moderators, this is what could cause name callings and eventually lead to personal attacks. I don't know how on earth this is tolerated. Is is a case of " responding to the messenger " or the message? How should we respond when the messenger is the same as the message? Some help needed here. ______________________________________________ "Halgan is that enough for others will you learn to think before you open your mouth?" What mouth? You did not convince me. If anything your laments are intellectually shallow and laden with the poison of clanism. -
Khalaf "let me get this straight this man Al-Azhari who spent more then six years in the torture chambers and survived is a whiney wimp and calacal Shariif is better leader? " The same guy who you think spent six years in torture camp was calling for civilians to leave muqisho (as a government representative, this is a crime of genocide) Blv you mean he won't set a foot in Europe. Surely, one can not compare this lowlife qabiliste with Sharif Xasan: the latter has his shortcomings but it is an insult to our intelligence when he is placed with the same league as the ape Jeele, the animal doctor etc. By the way, where did Sharif Xasan call for the murder of somalis? Is all you find "qaat dealer"? Come on sxb, you are too harsh on the guy! if only the likes of Jeele, Maxamed Dheere, Geedi, Abdullahi Yusuf could limit their pravdas by trading in Qaat, we wouldn't have had this mess. I am not a supporter of the Sharif but when he is compared to the lowlives that make up the junta of death and suffering, the sharif lives to his title. MARKII GEEL LOO HEESO AYAAY GORYO U HEESAN (your own words) describe your line of reasoning - don't you agree`?

How shall I respond without angering the mods: "He took his doctorate in political science and international law at Mogadishu University,---" This is pure lies. Muqdisho university never offered a PhD degree.

Let me remind you what you wrote: "Just for the record, Azhari is a Ph.D. holder who gained it when he was only 26 years of age." Who claimed sharif Xasan was a PhD holder? I don't know why you brought his name into the discussions. Sharif never went on air to incriminate himself in front of millions of TV viewers. No one claimed that he was educated, a double PhD holder in political science and law. Azhari acted like a fool. If that is what education makes some, then the whole concept of education is a primitive one. Again, let me remind you what you wrote:Just for the record, Azhari is a Ph.D. holder who gained it when he was only 26 years of age. I asked for evidence not a shallow and murky dithering. -

Are you telling us that the somali education system offered PhD degrees? That is not true. Somali universities offered undergraduate degrees. There are a number of individuals whose credentials are not questionable (e.g. Dr Galayr). A PhD in law and political science!!!!!!!!!! Tell us how exposing lies about academic degrees is disrespectfulll. You wrote " Azhari has a PhD degree". I objected to that. Prove me wrong. I am all eyes. -
This guy has taken the somalis love of power and titles to a new high! He even beats the claim that Azhari has a PhD that he recieved when he was 26 to a distant second place!

We could argue about the "causations" but it is the outcome which is under scrutiny don't you think? There is calm after the storm.. an old saying. Simplified; After you commit genocide the likelyhood of calm increases. What question? question posed "If the TFG & its allied forces were to commit genocide, why doesnt it do so now when they fully control the city?" Answer given: Do you mean all the reported cases of rotten bodies in the streets of Muqdisho, the hundreds of thousands made to leave their homes, the thousands of deaths that have been reported, the TFG talk about smoking ppl out of their holes is a lie???Genocide has taken place in Muqdisho ( the TFG dude azhari incriminated the TFG when he said his government urges ppl to leave Muqdisho)." Answer given to the answered question: " You still havent answered the question sir. Semantic gymnastics wont take you far. It's obvious what sparked and upheld the brutal fighting in Mogadishu." That is not "Semantic gymnastics" is it? -

As far as I know no one claimed that Abdulqasim is PhD holder. The word Dr. has a different connotation in the Italian academic context. Abdiqasim could be a Dr in the Italian context. No one said Abdiqasim is a PhD holder..or did I miss that? But surely some wrote above " Just for the record, Azhari is a Ph.D. holder who gained it when he was only 26 years of age." The Shariif ; are you implying that he gained the title of Shariif by unlawful means? Waryaahe LSK, bro, ii sheeg am I crossing the line? -

"Just for the record, Azhari is a Ph.D. holder who gained it when he was only 26 years of age." A challenge: could you prove it? I have visited the desertation database and I can't find him. -

Ashari's words would haunt him because those words will declare him persona non grata in Europe. It is a war crime/crime against humanity to call on civilians to leave their homes (he did that on that interview). I can't understand how a fool like that was a diplomat for thirty years!. -
Xan, I just thought it was strange that a person claiming to have been an ambassador for 30 years could speak in that fashion. You are right, somalis and the world don't care about somalia/somalis, but that statement could be used against the puppet government in future. Let us wait and see what the Goebbels on SOL would say.
-
I have heard what that monkey, Xuseen Caydid said about uniting somalis and ethiopians on the eve of the invasion. I have heard what that ape Salad jeelle said about wiping out some somali clans. But, I was not prepared for what I saw on Al jazira, a few minutes ago (inside story). A warthoge, Azhar was being interviewed. this dude claimed to be an advisor to the puppet president. He incriminated himself by urging Mogadishu residents to leave mogadishu. This is a crime against civilians according to international standards. The worst thing was his accusations against Al-Jazira. He was debating someone from the IUC. I wonder what our inhouse Goebbels would say...

You go first, tell us why we should support, 1) a government that has shelled its own citizens b) a government that has thrashed a popular movement that succeeded where warlordism, hatred and tribalism failed. c) A government that ensured ethiopian tanks to the streets of Mogadishu. d) A government that has been formed by warlords e)A government that is interested in rewarding core tribal members f) A government whose ministers are quoted calling for the massacres of people.

Emperor, waa dhici kartaa inaay ku dagaalamayaan labo dhinac; laakin waxaa ku baaba'yey dad rayid ah; dadka aan haaysanin baabur aay ku cararaan, lacag aay raashin ku gataan ama qori aay tuugada iskaga dhaciyaan. Dadkii masaakiinta ahaa oo reer tabeereedka weligooda ahaa waaye dadka dhintay. Warku waa cad yahay; a) dawlad ku sheeg gantaalo la dhaceeyso xaafado b) dad soo tuurayo qori (ugu yeer hadaad rabtid wadaad, qabiiliste etc) c) dad rayid ah oo aan difaac haaysanin. Kuweed la jirtaa? Kuweed u naxeeysaa? Ra'igaaga waa mid ku dhisan "Faruur maxaa berbera keenay?" Faduul. Taasi socon meeyso.

The economist, I agree that our history has been marked by killings, massacres, mayhem and what have you. But isn't time we look for alternative ways? Marginal????????? Just when I was about to respond ... I don't think shelling civilians would raise somalia or reconstruct. On the contrary, as much as I hate to say the TFG and their supporters have killed somalinimo. We are on the verge of tribalism ala grande. If rebuilding or raising somalia means we have to throw shells, then we have a serious problem. In my view there is only one way to salvage somalia; Abdillahi Yusuf and Geedi should leave somalia (surely there are hundreds out there who could bring peace). As long as they rule, many somalis would see them as responsible for death and destruction. So, sxb put your efforts in advocating peace and discussing the problems faced by defensless children and women instead of copying and pasting articles from Der Stürmer!

"However, If you were to define "Massacre" what matters is not only the number of death toll but also the reason for the death, the motive and desire to kill them..." Bal ku celi...I don't know how to respond to this paragraph; Massacre is not the reason for death, motive or desire. Massacre is a phrase to describe observable killings of a number of people. Motives/desires is looking for reasons why a massacre happens. ma fahantay? The notion that some parts of Muqdisho are peacefull and hitherto killing women and children is not only naive but one that defies common sense. Xuseen caydid, wasn't he a warlord turned TFG minister.. I rather he rots in hell. Satisfied? Ma akhrisay sheekadii "boqorka qaawan" oo uu qoray Hans Andersson (dannish ku dhashay magaalo la yiraahdo Odense)? Sheekadaada waxaay u egtahay mid buugaasi ku xusan.

So, the deaths of 1000+ recently and 73 is not a massacre? What is so "politising " about reporting? Lets hear the soothsayer; what is our opinion? what is our moral? what is "our ill-desire"? P.s Did any of you read Hans Christian Andersen's story about the weavers and the emperor?
-
I know of 8 refugees killed, 11 others wounded when they sought shelter in the Ex-Carwada- and for the information of those who love this puppet government because it is eradicating a particular tribe; None of these 18 people were from the tribes that dominate Muqdisho!!!!!
-
Peacenow, That is the problem sxb. I read the economist every week and lately they have been writing about the problems in somalia- and blv you me they write that civilians are indiscrminately targed by the TFG and ethiopian forces. So, I gusss he does not blv even the economist. He is bold enough to give us a line from an article where it says 10 people died from a stray shell (the rest of the article is about death and destruction). I get mad at this kind of nonsenses. Even the tribalist websites that are a favourite of this defunct TFG don't argue in that way. I was trying to tell him; hundreds of somalis were killed (most of them civilians) and their deaths have been caused by shells from the TFG/ethiopian troops.- and that is enough to bleed the heart of any somali.
-
TheEconomist, fariinta keynan waan fahamey, laakin waxaay ahayd mid aan sidanin wax nuxur ah. Ilaah baan kugu dhaarshe ma waxaad ii leedahay oo aad golaha la soo shirtagtay inaad tiraahdid "dadka xamar iyagaa dhibaatada isu keeynay maadaama xabadaha agtooda laga soo tuuro?" If you can produce (don't cook) a report from a reliable source that these people have been killed by some other units, I will change my mind. The fact of the matter is that civilians are been shelled- and that shelling is done by the TFG and the ethiopians.
