The Rageh Omaar Report : From Minneapolis to Mogadishu
Faarax-Brawn replied to Archdemos's topic in General
^Sheeq,I am not sure where you are going with this? You are giving me the link to a racist blogger?-What does that have to do with anything? The Report is a report about the Somalis in MPLS. It paints the real picture of Somalis in the TCs. We have successes(which he highlighted) and failures(which he highlighted). Could you help me out what your problem is with the report(besides your famine porn issue?) -
Khuraad Buraad ayaan maqli jiray. Sual qofkii qabo, hab looga jawaaba ayeey lehdahay(sax?). Qofku haduu lilaahi iyo daacad yahay, they should send a quick email to the local imaam. I dont think you will get concrete answers by posting such questions on FB.(You wlc comments from right wing nutcases who will say "die kufar!") I also wish muslims all over the world should learn how to really respond to ppl who question their imaan. Really, they do drive most people away from the deen. Ilaahow nasoo hanuuni dhamanteen.

Originally posted by A_Khadar: I think it's wiser for Somalis living outside Somali who get monthly bill from their relatives abroad to move back to Somalia and spend all that money in Somalia. I am sure beside Mogadishu's active war, all other places of Somalia are relatively peace and safer than kenya/ethiopia and else where. When was the last time you were in Somalia,Brother

alla ya raxmah. tolerance should be preached. sabar, sabar. -
Of course,it depends on where you live in Nairobi. It also depends on the number of people in each household. If the kids go to school,it is probably more expensive too. 1000 us dollars is close to 80000kenya shillings. That is WAY above what most kenyans earn in a month. If you live in decent suburbs of Nairobi,i would assume one can use 1000dollars,but they can live in OK places and live on 600$ fairly decently. Somalis are smart, they figured it is expensive to live in Nairobi and they have now moved to a place called Kajiado. 3hrs drive from nairobi for far far less
