Just to keep the record str8 to the old captain here[Who seems never to get it] & for our readers: Anarchy was replaced with peace & progress when the glorious IUC kicked the men who were responsible for that anarchy; Suprisingly, the very same men who caused that anarchy are now ministers, deputy PMS,MPS and what not in this PUPPET GOVT OF THE TFG!. Yall have this backwards man...Just doing my civic duties captain

What our brethrens in Mogadishu and rest of Somalia need is peace; without it we shall all suffer. I would rather have unjust occupation than the demise of thousands of Somali muslims Sophist,The meat & the potatoes in this is that the people who were supportive of the IUC DO NOT want this regime[blended with] Warlords and worse of it all: ETHIOPIA. Its rather clear me thinks. Castro, Sxb Its our turn to be brave cut & pasters. Its only fair to replace the coward cut/pasters of this forum. You are doing the honourble thing to your nation & conscience by speaking up against an unjust invading army in the disguise of "stabilizing the region". For me its actually therapy, venting and voicing my opinion. Its your patriotic duty to speak up and challenge these un principled men[Who you correctly reffered to as Doorknobs] who support this coward regime that let its enemy invade its own nation. They used the enemy's tanks,Migs & soldiers to assume power they couldnt do politically. To kill fellow countrymen by using the enemy. Salute, comrade I would rather have a puppet government than warlords and anarchy. Edit: Come on Sophist, The Warlords were kicked out by the IUC,LOL & they are now safely in this puppet Govt. Anarchy was eliminated by the IUC & its now in the making. You have this backwards sxb. We had warlords & anarchism for 15+ yrs, & when we had kicked them out, what happened? Bal adba....

Person of the Year 2006: Sheikh Sharif Sheikh Ahmed
Faarax-Brawn replied to Taliban's topic in Politics
Whatever the cause of failure of the UIC maybe, Sh. Ahmed epitomized peace for six historic months in Somalia, where he captured the stage by every stretch of the imagination. Without him, Mogadishu, dotted with the tanks of Somalia’s once arch enemy, fear and confusion is lurking in the minds of its embattled residents, as a new chapter of their live opens, rather precipitously Hats off to the Great Sheikh. -
What do you call someone who "fought" against an enemy nation twice and now rides on the back of their invading tanks and fights his own people? Abdullahi Yussuf Ahmed? Which is more accurate a label: the clan courts on the ICU or the transitional puppet government on the TFG? My guess will be the Transional Puppet Govt?

Originally posted by General Duke: ^^^1964 war was a border between Somalia and Imperial Ethiopia under Haile Salassie. Yusuf was given a medal of honour by then President. H.E Adan Abullahi Osman 1977-1978 was a bigger war fought between Somalia then under President General Siyad Barre and The Derg Communist regime of Ethiopia led by dictator Menghestu Haile Mariam. Yusuf led troops deep into Ethiopia and was in the front lines of that war. These two wars where the last to be fought by Somalias national army. Thank you sir. Just wanted for you to clarify that to our readers. One more thing sir, adoo raali ah; why was that war[77'] fought again?[you seemed to have missed that part].

who fought for Somalia in both 1964 & 1977-78 wars Would you please tell our readers what wars these were? Which nation was fighting which nation? Also,Tell us why YUSSUF was fighting that war. Thank you

Somalia's transitional Government says it is indefinitely abandoning plans to disarm civilians and clan militias in the capital, Mogadishu, after an outbreak of violent protests there. I dont trust this line. Maxay udan lehyihiin?

Originally posted by Captain Xalane: Why would they be busy with roadblocks and checkpoints when they are given new titles, positions and are hired to fill the ranks? LOL,so Captain the IUC got rid of Mooriyans right? Took them off the streets and made them responsible members of society.. maahino? Waryaa,I apologize for calling you a dimwit sxb,You actually got the plot

The ICU's forces were the moriyans that served under the warlords. They conquered them plus their weapons and that was it,they were part of the parcel.Or were they not?Arguing that the road blocks are gone coz the moriyans were gone is witless. They never were gone! So,how come then there WERE NO Roadblocks & Checkpoints in Mog then,During the IUC's era? Wallahi there seems to be a constant variant here amongst these doorknobs eh? Do you ever think thru your posts?

Originally posted by ThePoint: ^It has nothing to do with defensiveness. It is a direct query into the validity of your accusations which you have not substantiated. Here is my belief in a nutshell - Disarmament is necessary and good for Mogadishu, its environs and the rest of the country. That is it. It is not about rehashing the ICU record or whom did what when. It is about the present and how to move forward to a better Somalia. What is your belief in a nutshell? Sublminally suggesting that Moryaans and roadblocks are rampant in Mog is in my opinion a dishonest bias in regards to the wonderful work done by the IUC. The past is the past but some past issues do have ripple effects on the future. One cannot possibly wash off his hands and proclaim wixi dhaceen waa dhaceen,Its not realistic. You cannot say there are moryans in Hamar and roadblocks ala 1990-to pre IUC era. Waa been taasi & I censored you to it. You have not refuted anything weli yaah. Be as it may, The past is definetly behind us,but for a realistic dialogue to take place there has to be a serious discussion about the immidiete and unconditional Expulsion of ALL Habashi armour and military personell[Trainers and soldiers] off SOMALI SOIL. They should walk it out. Warlords in this govt should walk it out! Simple maahino? Oh yea, that’s what I Believe "in a Nutshell" Sxb,

Defensive arent you sir? You have selective reading ina abti I believe. Please re read the part of of my post that talked about the demise of the Moryans[& Warlords] and the emergence of freedom fighters[& the rest of the names]. Let me get this correct: You believe that the men fighting this occupying military habashis are Moryans,Yes?

Originally posted by ThePoint: ^The only clarity you bring is your penchant for insults in lieu of cogent arguments. Congratulations - that qualifies you as the speck of dirt on the doorknob. In case you didn't know - the ICU is not in charge of Mog anymore. As such, to prevent Mogadishu from going back to its status quo - action on disarmament must be taken. You plastered false messages on boards and pass it over as an argument. You will get censored Sxb. In anycase,I did not see an "argument". My point was and is Mr Point[Calling you by first name, avoiding Insults here,Bwahaha]. The Union of Islamic courts did disarm the moryans and got rid of the roadblocks & checkpoints[Wow!] They handed over the weapons back to clans & not individual Moryanin for obvious reasons. It’s the larger argument of why the ICU did that, another argument for another day. But right now lets point out your obvious misinformation of the facts, please? There are no more Moryans and Roadblocks in Mog. According to this side of the aisle,Moryans and roadblock operators dissapeared the day the IUC took formal control and then kicked out the warlords! The Moryans were employed and paid by Warlords[Lets remind our readers here that those defeated warlords are in this Habashi backed Govt ok].Those that have the weapons now from the IUC are not moryaans, you would have to find another name for them.Mujahids some call them,Insurgents some might call them, freedom fighters other might label them ,Remants of the Islamist or perhaps Islamic loyalists,But no more moryaans! As for roadblocks & checkpoints[umm, whats the difference?] Thats silly yaah? You cannot put a roadblock on kilometer afar & literaly ask for a beatdown from the Xabashi MIGS & Tannks,so how[oh lord] will a "moryaan" place himself in that kind of obvious danger? Marka xagee joogaan these moryans aa ka hadleesid? Sidenote: So Doorknob is actually working @Castro?

1. Full amnesty for the Islamists leadership. 2. Reconcilliation meeting in Mogadishu. 3. Revised constitution. 4. National vote to ratify the drafted constitution. 4. Clear succession plan (with defined date). Chief & Paramount issue of this whole mess ma'adan identify gareen. Ka bacdi how do you want serious dialogue Bashow? Refusal of frontline troops, chief among it: ETHIOPIA!! Chronology of Event sampled here Bashi. Warlords get bribed to elect a govt in a foreign country Somalis rejoice Get kicked out of Kenya, forced to GO BACK TO THEIR HOMELAND. Move to Jowhar Get chased from Jawhar. Fail to reconcile Somalis Unable to reconcile SOMALIS and FAIL to have an impact. Ask IGADD to have troops. Opposition refuses frontline troops. Fail to reconcile Somalis Rejoice Fail to reconcile Somalis Brings enemy Tanks into Somali Soil Fail to reconcile Somalis Let An Enemy country invade its nation. Nation occupied by Xabashis ...

No ammount of sensible and inteligent debate will pump sense into say Duke or Naxar or Captain Xalane. It’s a waste of energy, resources & most importanly a waste of useful brain resource on their opponents. Here is a simple but bright idea: All in favor of Xabashi occupation of somali soil shout YAY[Or was it YEY?] & all not in favor proclaim and proudly shout NAY. Hadaa wa salaam!
