Headed by Nabadoon bililiqo. LooooL. I dont know which is funnier. That you actually attempted to explain the scenario i played or the EXPLANATION itself.
  3. Prime Minister is visiting the region, checking out new cadets and furthering the TFG in Somalia in general Right.....Forget the war & the daunting task of innitieting a reconciliation meeting. Instead,Check out the new cadets & promote the TFG in a freindly place. Brilliant strategy by the maverick Politician. Got it,thats how you run a country & get a regime to be in power, Wink Wink...

  5. If i were to hazard a guess I would say this trip is about briefing Cadde admin about the latest regional intel as communicated by Frazer in her recent visit Wrooooong!!! Two things: 1. He went there to collect the revenue from Puntland to sustain the running of the TFG. They ran out of Money for basic neccesities like Fuel,Food & Fatashaaris. See,As you know, The Millions promised by EU will not come until there is a dialogue. Meles, aint giving out a penny,he got paid a handsome ammount of $75M,bought his arsenal & he is done. Its back to Business for the TFG,ask Puntland to save the day. Meanwhile, the poor people of Puntland are suffering...Look @ cade,he doesnt seem too happy is he? 2. The Prime Minister had to get the hell out of Mogadishu; He must have been to every concievable safe destination there is. No more place to go,Mog is not safe so he just on the Move. Dont be suprised if he comes back to Neerobi next week.

Cadeey celi calasa soo daaa Cadow iyo cabaad waa sidaas iyo something...LOL These are some of the lyrics i remember. Its a very very rythmic dance indeed. They use a strong maqaar to stomp their feet. This produces a clapping like sound, which when combined with the bass Hobow hobow chorus from the Men,produces this really marvelous sound. Teeda kala Paragon,You also need to tell the folks here that,to be a Majestic Diisow dancer[Not Disco Dancer yaah Haneefah ],one has to be at least 6Feet & above. Xiin, you & I are automatically disqualified.
  8. Aboowayaalow,I am guessing, reffers to the larger communist brotherhood? Anyone? What a beautiful presentation!
  9. “as we have seen at this Leicester conference, all Somalis have put aside their differences to wage a common, national front to regain our sovereignty.” The principal task now facing Somalis is the eviction of the Ethiopian armed forces, and the massacres of hundreds of innocents in recent weeks have made all other issues secondary to this terrible reality of occupation.” But the former minister also felt that there was widespread recognition that the TFG was completely incapable of managing Somalia even with the huge Ethiopian presence, as reflected in the Ethiopians’ conducting direct negotiations with Somali clans and groups
  10. Islamists have no plan to return to power, says ex-minister Story by SALIM LONE IN LEICESTER, UK, Monday Publication Date: 4/10/2007 The leadership of the Islamic Courts Union is intact, and a number of them are still in Somalia battling Ethiopian occupation forces. But “we are not fighting in order to put ourselves back in power,” said Prof Ibrahim Addou, its former Foreign Affairs Minister, who was also its Chief Negotiator. “Our goal is a broad-based government in which all contending forces committed to peace will be included.” Prof Addou also turned down the notion, as advanced at the weekend in Baidoa by US Assistant Secretary of State Jendayi Frazer, that a permanent ceasefire could be established “as quickly as possible” through political dialogue in Somalia. He said: “We welcome the call for dialogue, which was, and continues to be, the Courts approach, but it will need to be held outside Somalia, where all participants can negotiate without fear. It would also need to be conducted under the auspices of a neutral body, or a group of impartial nations, outside Somalia” he asserted. In an interview at the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom, where a high-level three-day Somali diaspora conference concluded yesterday, the professor said that the invasion and war waged by Ethiopia and the United States had radically altered the political dynamic in his country. “Thanks be to God, the Islamic Courts’ position is even better now than it was before, and the role our fighters are playing in the resistance will make it even more so in the future.” Nevertheless, Prof Addou continued, the Islamic Courts would not seek to form the next sovereign government but would vie for its share of power within an inclusive, national coalition. And while the TFG had caused immense harm and suffering to Somalis, its members would not be automatically excluded. “All decisions will be taken on a case by case basis, the goal being national inclusiveness.” On the national dialogue that Ms Frazer was talking about, Prof Addou said it could only take place if it was “preceded by a clear and fixed timetable of withdrawal of Ethiopian forces.” But in the meantime, “as we have seen at this Leicester conference, all Somalis have put aside their differences to wage a common, national front to regain our sovereignty.” The principal task now facing Somalis is the eviction of the Ethiopian armed forces, and the massacres of hundreds of innocents in recent weeks have made all other issues secondary to this terrible reality of occupation.” But the former minister also felt that there was widespread recognition that the TFG was completely incapable of managing Somalia even with the huge Ethiopian presence, as reflected in the Ethiopians’ conducting direct negotiations with Somali clans and groups. This recognition might convince the Ethiopians to see the enormity of their folly, he said. Prof Addou acknowledged the Islamic Courts made some mistakes, “but they were minor.” More troubling were the actions of some hot-headed ICU members not approved by the leadership. The media exaggerated the actions, but it is true some cinemas were closed, property was burned and football matches disrupted. The banning of chat should have been a gradual, carefully organised process accompanied by education about its impact.” On the ICU’s link with terrorism, Prof Addou said that not a single terrorist act had occurred under their rule, and that ICU was completely opposed to terror. The Leicester “Somalia Diaspora Conference” attracted some of Somalia’s senior-most politicians from a very wide spectrum of organisations. Former Prime Ministers Ali Khalif Galayr and Mohammed Abdi Yusuf, from the Transitional National Government of the 2000-2004 period were there, as were numerous ministers from that period, as well as Baidoa parliamentarians who resigned in the last year. There were over 250 groups and activists from various the US, Canada and numerous European, African and Middles East countries.
  11. Where is the International community You asked? Well, they are right there with the Ethios & up against Islam. They authorized this invasion, funded this invasion & allowed this shipment to come through. The trend is clear, soon as a strong Qabil-free Somali nationalist movement springs up(By way of Islam, just like the Sayid),they will be quashed & crushed; get to be labelled "Terrorists" & other such vile names. A hundred years ago,the british made History,Somalia was the first African colony to be bombed by Planes. The Story was that the Sayyid, was reffered to us a fanatical Mad Mullah that was a detrimental to the interest of the British,A strong Islamic Somalia is dangerous for The christian-led Ethiopian regime. The same exact scenario is replicated a 100 years later, the story-line is still the same. You tell me now that these folks want a strong free Somali republic?
  12. I know,How amazing this is. History does repeat itself indeed. The Ethios & their Masters just know how to choose the right(wrong) people to do the right(wrong)job for them. The folks who saw this, were labeled terrorists,Modern day Mad Mullahs if you will. The dates have changed,The rulers have changed, the masters have changed but the Enemy is still the same. The thumb of rule for the Ethios is quite simple. Finish the Somali people as soon as they become powerful. Sadly, there is a bunch of our Somali people who are misguided to think that the invasion of the ethios is but to help establish a Somali state. Yeah right!
  13. This is from 2007,right? American officials said that the ship, the Tekeze, a modern vessel bought from a company in Montenegro and named after an Ethiopian river, unloaded its cargo in Djibouti, a former French colony where the United States has based Special Operations troops and other military forces. From there, the cargo was transported overland to Ethiopia Backtrack hundred years later,1887 Negus Menelik, in response to Italian control of Eritrea and the port of Massawa, had begun to import firearms and munitions through the French-controlled ports of Djibouti. Emir 'Abd Allah of Harar, a fantical Moslem, This is just mind bogglingly amazing.

Does the clan president qualify as a Mu'min leader? Wallahi cadiim I don’t know. I don’t know the person that is this President. However, as you know, Taliban, true beleievers are those who are faithfully true to their amanat (all the duties which Allah has ordained, honesty, moral responsibility and trusts) and to their covenants. However,I can confidently say that the leadership of this appointed govt, have not been true and morally just to the people they are supposedly leading. Matter of fact, they have commited sins against muslims(directly and indirectly), they have murdered innocent muslims. I dont think those are the attributes a mu'min. But, I'A it will get better.
  17. Xuseen Caydiid oo gaaray dalka Eritrea, isagoo ku biiray xildhibaannada mucaaradka ku ah Dowladda They should exterminate this fool. They should leave him in Asmara. Anyway, i am just curious, does Museveni's Visit to Eritria visit have anything to do with this?
  18. Xoog,Of course i live in the CT time zone. Your analysis is always great & you couldnt have have said it better. You have explained & articulated it many times, great work sir. Didi, Asalaam aleykum walaal
  19. ^Sxb - if you're gonna dismiss and disparage someone else's stance - have the courage to either pick apart their points Thats the Problem sxbow, I dont see any point that is worth being picked apart. You eloquently pieced together a wordy explanation for an invasion, Hardly any New inteligent material there sxbow. I have said it earlier, your stance is just a rosier more civilized version of what Duke & his brigade preach. Halkaa ku ekaato about this miscarried & obviously barren sheeko,Tafadal. Now,as for Indhocade,That is just but one person, I am hoping that you are not basing your rejection of the IUC because of one person, because thats just really dumb. One doesnt reject an entity because someone you dislike happens to belong to that said organization, especially from an inteligent person as you. They say, I'd rather have him inside the tent pissing out than inside the tent pissing in. The wise Shareef made the decision to have him included rather than exclude him. For whatever reason, Allah knows best. But The greater benefit for the larger Ummah was obviously far much more important than focusing on a single individual. And my guess will be that was the choice the IUC leadership probably made as well. Peace,Prosperity, islamic form of government & a final solution to the Warlord menace were the selling point for many Somalis. Adeer,You dont need to be complex to see the difference between right and wrong. The IUC lasted a mere six months, the least an inteligent person could ever do for them was to give them a chance, they were never given a chance,so how do you judge them adeer? Its Maqrib where am @,see you later I'A.

PS - Again, the nuance and complexity is there - you just can't seem to grasp it. Hint - It's less about supporting the TFG and more about supporting the process Sxb,There is no need in rebutting the obvious. You know my stance, and I know your stance ; You support the Ethiopian invasion you aptly dubbed it as a useful tool to break that political deadlock, I dont. Having said that,I Personally think that the Process itself is the root cause of all this. Its an Ethiopian handpicked gov't that had the backing of Anti-Islamic entities,They were elected by a group of men who have somali bloood on their hands, you remember them; The Warlords. I went for the alternative of the TFG; The Union of Islamic courts. They kicked out the warlords that i so loath, pacified the capital city & imposed Allah's preffered style of Government. The choice was clear for me, It is still clear for me. My concience,my faith will not allow me to support a warlord elected govt, a govt that used Somalia's enemy(Historical & Present) to kill other Somalis.I Instead chose an Islamic movement; Whether it was perfect or not,is another whole argument. How complex is that choice adeerow? Mise Complexity has another form that i dont seem to grasp?
  21. Originally posted by ThePoint: ^When you can't grasp nuance and complexity - why bother inserting yourself in intelligent debate? What is complex about supporting the TFG? The manner of delivery or the person delivering it? You have actually articulated your opinion eloquently Adeer, Sadly & truthfully though, its just a toned down civilized version of what many of your bretheren have been saying. Is it good for the ears? You betcha! Good for the hearts of the affected Somalis? Dont think so Xaaji. Perhaps Ethiopia was needed for the immidiete "political deadlock " as you put it, but did you think about the long term repurcussions this short sighted intervention will have on the future of the Somali republic? Surely, any hope of reconciliation is obviously tattered, No?
  22. On balance - I do. There were 2 competing parties ICU and TFG and a political deadlock. Political deadlock is something Somalis have been familiar with for a decade plus and hasn't been beneficial. I had no desire to see that continue. The Ethiopians were a useful tool to break that political deadlock though a number of their actions are reprehensible No - I don't. The TFG and the Ethiopians used excessive force in the last few days and unnecessarily so in my opinion. You will note that the shelling, suicide car bombs, and downing of cargo planes using by RPGs is something the other folks engaged in to. I wonder if you support those actions? I passively supported the TFG. I support that a long, intensive, inclusive and sometimes competitive process produced this TFG. The process has its flaws and the characters most definitely do but that is something to be worked on. I was not in support of self-appointed men who appropriated 'islamnimo' solely to themselves. I think that is a divisive and unwise stance There you have it Kashafa. A civilized, Cay free Point by Point version of what Xalane,Duke,Naxar & Violet have been saying all along. Nothing different really yeah? Now,what will it be? Ridiculing Duke & his brigade or listening to a more toned, revised, civil & a Boring version of their rants? Be Honest
  23. Puntland does not want terrorist coming to their land.
  24. I think,Peace,Perhaps what you should say is that Muslims Have failed. Islam Will not fail,I'A. Inshallah we will have Mu'min leaders for Somalia and we shall see glory. Amin
