OPEN LETTER TO WORLD LEADERS ON THE GENOCIDE IN MOGADISHU, SOMALIA
Faarax-Brawn replied to N.O.R.F's topic in Politics
Nice Letter -
They are our traditional hunters, doctors, blacksmiths, craftsmen, singers, tailors and fashion designers, barbers and hairstylists, hygiene attendants and butchers. We defend ourselves with the weapons they make, cultivate our farms with the ploughs they fashion, wear the clothes they tailor, eat with the pots and bowls they make, drink from the earthen jars they mould, submit our heads to them to cut our hair, call them to circumcise our sons and daughters, trust them with our necks to cut our tonsils, enjoy their music but still we despise them. Didnt think of it this way....

Venezuela quits IMF and World Bank, takes over refineries
Faarax-Brawn replied to Castro's topic in Politics
Originally posted by Paragon: ^^Actually it was the IMF and the World Bank that has spread the idea that nationalising national assets is not economically viable. Both agencies use to make the world believe that absence of the 'state' has made possible 'Pacific Asia's' economic miracle. The agencies believed the states in these countries, such as Japan, were not regulating the markets and thus the markets were totally operating themselves- and at times of crisis, had the power, as liberal economists believe, to self-correct itself. This is what smith has called the Invisible hand in the market. But all these crap has been disproven. To be continued... read Free markets they say and they let pre choosen "investors" milk out the most profit out of these poor countries. -

Venezuela quits IMF and World Bank, takes over refineries
Faarax-Brawn replied to Castro's topic in Politics
Nothing good comes out of nationalising the country's vital economic resources Nationalization is not ALL that bad sometimes. The institutions of the IMF & World bank have been a part and parcel of all the problems in the world. Right now its in the best interest of Venezuala to severe ties with the eldiablo -
Originally posted by DigibAc: What the hell is wrong with the warriors? they wasted so many opportunities last night. They missed their final eight shots and wasting 16 3-pointers. Why the hell do you keep shooting 3's when your not gonna make them? Why don't you run the clock when you’re up and there's only 3 minutes left in the game? Talk about a total breakdown. They just couldnt connect and they disintergrated, They will finish off on friday in Oakland . Some seriously flawed officiating i tell you. I think the refs are favoring Dallas here. Also, what the &^&^& is wrng with NJ? Thats gotta be the most boring team in the NBA!!!

The Lies of the Times: New York Times Pushes Bush Line on Somalia
Faarax-Brawn replied to Castro's topic in Politics
What a straw man argument. Did Mr. Gettleman reduce the entire Mogadishu battles to gangesterism. Nope. He said "Beyond clan rivalry and Islamic fervor, an entirely different motive is helping fuel the chaos in Somalia: profit." Simply that it is an important motivating aspect. Nor did he say the corollary to that is an invasion or military conflict. This fellow likes to connect one invented dot after another.Demolished. You are demolishing & rebutting a purpotted straw man argument with straw man comback? Whats up with that?, Did your mind go into one of those kerfuffle modes known to the rest of the TFG puppets, when they get presented with simple facts? The man has cited two cases(two cases for heavens sake!),to back up this supposedly "Important motivating aspect" thats fueling this chaos. Do you mean to tell me that these two cases make an integral part of this resistance? Warranting a paper of NYTs calibre to dwell on a trifling issue as this? Why,arent they instead talking about the humanatarian disaster, death & destruction caused by the Ethiopians(Funded by American taxpayers)? Allow me to say this: WTF!!! -
How do you think this will end?? How old are you? You are not serious asking this very simple question right? Did your parents teach you the Quran?

Originally posted by General Duke: ^^^Wishful thinking the EU is not your shinning knight in armour it will support this governemnt because it is in ots interest, its powerful members such as Britian supports the TFG plans fully. As for the meeting, I really dont buy into this sureness of yours, like you used to say, Mogadishu will never be captured, now its Mogadishu will never be pacified. I say never say never. The meeting is in schedule, and the reqason behind its initial announcement was to get the likes of Abdiqasin, Culusow and Ahmed Bililiqo worked up that they came out guns blazing. Come out of the wood work was the main aim, and thank goodness it worked. Now for the moping up. First off,Stop babbling like a parrot,Go and take a power nap,You are not making any sense at ALL. Adeer,You are shamelessly famous for saying all things ridiculous. Aside from your rantings,You are not one to speak about what the EU will do or wont do. If the EU wanted to wholeheartedly support this TFG,they would have given those monies without any condition. But since they tied the money to this reconciliation meeting,The Puppets are hell bent on forcing this meeting to happen.

Cabinet meets in Mogadishu : whats on the agenda?

Originally posted by General Duke: ^^^Not really the TFG has to solve the Mogadishu issue before the meeting, we still have two full months and this will go on till its completed. Remember the Somali people waited for 16 years, they can wait a little bit longer.. Indeed,They have to solve this "issue" sowmahan? The reconciliation meeting HAS to occur regardless of the actions taken, because the money is tied to this damned reconciliation. So,I guess they have to cleanse the city of its people and force the rest to accept the TFG? Then they can cash that $60Billion promised by the EU huh? Duke,Wake up!, That aint gonna happen. There will be no reconciliation meeting on June,The EU is not gonna give out any money to an external military commiting genocide. GET THAT Pukey!!!

Somalia was a lawless country ruled by Warlords,I am sure you are familiar with them, since they are a part of this useless regime.
