I have ran out of Good things to say about you & frankly speaking, I am not really good at this Edit: I dont know if its a good or bad thing to have announced your relationship to Castro for everyone in SOL. -

I am not proud of my Tribe, really, actually they have been quite dissapointing if you ask me. They are not as historically famous as the Ashanti of Ghana(Who Produced the Songai Empire)or The Zulu Of Shaka fame or even the Chaga of Nyerere. They do not own any land for white people to visit like the Masai of Kenya & Tanzania. The only thing they can boast of is rearing few beautiful Camels,I cannot think of anything else substantial that can make me That Proud, Well maybe just maybe,i am a little bit impressed with their remarkable songs and acrobatic style of watering their camels. Other than, theres nothing really that impressive about my Tribe,They are as illitrate as a papua New Guinean ,just Prettier & taller. -

Does anyone seriously believe the "resistance" is over? I mean I am sure Meles, his stooges & all the Neo-con Bushies know that it’s just a matter of time before the wadaads re-group. I am pretty sure this time, their method will be as deadly. Too much young lives have been lost for ANYONE to let this go, My calculated guess is that they will fight the "Occupation" till they all die. -
Just to clarify, I know am swimming upstream here in some tracherous waters, but the reality of the matter is, these kind of practices do happen as we speak. In some parts of the world, Women do these sort of things, willingly

Originally posted by xiinfaniin: ^^Castrow, one of the reasons I jump on Somaliland threads is because I sensed some intellectual fascism when it comes asking hard questions about the legitimacy, and in your case, genesis of secessionism. The other day I listened one of my intellectual heroes dismantle quite easily and with a marked civility about this notion of independence. His points were easy yet the man who was debating him could not handle it. Check Prof. Samatar’s discussion with Siilanyo. Si xalaala weli loogam niqaashin in Somalilnad go’do iyo inkale…ninkii ka horyimaadaba waxaa la oronayaa car Hargeysa imow waan ku xiraynaa ama waa lagu dilayyaa. It was either to participate in a civil war or declare indepedence, and i think the leadership of JSL went for the "better" option at that time. Its been 16years and I am pretty sure the people of JSL do not want to be a part of a Union anymore. My question for you guys is,what will a Legitimate Govt of Somalia do in the event that a referendum is carried out and the people overwhelmingly ask for indepedendence? Can they force JSL to stay in a union they dont want to be a part of? If they do,what will be the consequences? Another War? What are the benefits of having JSL in this union anyway?

I am guessing you meant to say "ironly" as in iron handed? A pair of No nonsense characters you say? Well,I will be damned if i didnt expect that from WARLORDS!!!! Why don't you try to fix and mend the wrongs of this government instead of advocating its death and elimination. Mohamed Dhere has a reputation of bringing law and order in Jowhar, where his clan settles. One thing I wonder is how could someone whose clan settle the city he ruled once be termed as a warlord? No, he was not a warlod, he was a true savior for the people in Jowhar Oh Boy~

Xiin,Gotta admit that one thing about this "great article" is that The author has at least admitted a sea of change,an amalgamate of the new & old. Said he,: A sea of change is currently underway in Somalia. The country is at the crossroads of the old past and a new epoch" The old past of Warlords back to their roots & the new Epoch (Heh,I know)of Occupation by a poor despised enemy country. He couldnt have said it better, sometimes they say things subconciously, guess this one is a classic case. One may struggle comprehending the level of ignorance in those thugs and outlaws, who are trying to make the ends meet by keeping Somalia ungovernable. What an interesting absurd quote from this honourable discombobulated author.

The Primary responsibility of a nation is to protect its citizens from evils. Govts as far back as the Romans fortified their cities and dynasties. This is nothing new to mankind, If i were the leader of Saudi,I would think of protecting my citizens from bad neighbors,But unfortunatly I would have enough senses to know that Fencing miles to keep trouble away is a too drastic of a measure that wont guarantee safety. Ps.Cuomo estas Signor Castro? Xiin,Walaal Waan ku salaamay adna
