Why are NGO's interfering in Somali Politics
Faarax-Brawn replied to BarigaSanaag's topic in Politics

Makes perfect sense lol. Lol,I see the sense now. Someone pass a quick SMS message to these Damn Norwegians. They better support the "Somali Cause" Or else, they will be invaded by a Christian army[To Save Somalia of course]. -

You know where i stand already yaa Xiin on this,Somaliland & Puntland are nothing but two fiefdoms crying over a useless parcel of barren land. Personally I see a bigger issue that these two dabodhilif adminstrations are run by two inept greedy men who both lack vision . I honestly beleive that this is a grand marshal plan by Meles's & Ethiopia to ensure that no Somaliland is peacefull. The SL led by the incompetent former Siyadist,is of course another slave to Ethiopia & he did was asked by his master. Having said that, this was a blunder on the part of the SL adminstration. Hopefully, I hope there is no war. Castro,You traitor! Why arent you supporting your ancestral bretherens from recapturing what was given to them by the colonial adminstration,Some 100+ years ago? -

So,What you are basically saying is that,The Christians are good as long as they support your Clan? -

There is a reason why he/she is in the freindship zone, maaha? What could have changed in the course of time to make it any different from say when you first met him/her? Really? Lets face it, Desperation must have forced the sudden "change of course". Wax kaloo faida leh aa la waaye camal nooh? Thats not fair to the partner. In reality, there is always no true freindship between man and woman. There is always one person, who has been attracted to the other one at one point. ^What do you think Geedi will do now? A. Join his disgruntled brothers in Asmara? B. Vanish into oblivilion like Galaydh? C. Become a Warlord? D. Plan his comeback?

The Anti TFG group hates Geedi, The Pro TFG group hates GEEDI. What is this celebration from the Duke & The Emperor? You lost your own damned PM,who,as we have been telling you all for quite sometimes,is a useless goat doctor.

^You are missing the point. Cant you see The Proud Indho yar Somali in the RED ARMY UNIFORM guarding the Embassy?

Originally posted by ThePoint: ^Aweys is the svengali of the whole shindig. Why do you think he's in Asmara? As to the Arab countries - they were very sympathetic and open to the Asmara Group particularly the prime mover on Arab policy in Africa, Egypt. Egypt sees Somalia as key to retaining control over Nile waters which originate in Ethiopia. But the AG blew it. Astute diplomacy is about give and take - what is the give here on the AG's part? Rien de rien. That French comment was just for you FB Trust me,He is not a part of this group. Matter of fact,he has declined to be a part of it. My point about the Arab countries not supporting the AG was just to highlighten the obvious. As it is now, Aid and America's support is more important to Egypt than the nile,NO?
-
Hassan Dahir Aweys is a huge political liability for the AG. Rightly or wrongly he is a wanted man by the US. So how can the movement retain this fellow as the brains behind the whole operation and have a hope at real power in Somalia. A politically astute move would have been to disassociate this man from the movement as soon as it was re-formed in Asmara not to entrench him further. Just to let you know,Sh.Dahir Aweys is not a part of this new Asmar Adminstration. Diplomatically - the Asmara Group has had a dismal failure. They have managed to alienate the Arab states that were sympathetic to it by their sheer obstinancy. Diplomacy is a game of give and take - you cannot seriously expect diplomatic support if you don't at least provide your supporters with 'noises' in the right direction - ie. vague talk about possibly maybe talking to the TFG using back channels. What Arab countries? The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,Egypt and Jordan i suppose? Arent those countries the usual American puppets? What will happen to the millions of Aid money for say Jordan & Egypt if they would have supported a "terrorist" Taliban grouping? What will be of the 60years of US-Saudi freindship be,along with its billions of annual trade revenues?

Secessionist Militia being fought in every alley of Lascaanod
Faarax-Brawn replied to General Duke's topic in Politics
You are asking me a pathetic question. There are people in Iraq who support America occupation, there are people in Mogadishu who support TFG and the presence of Ethiopian troops, and there are people in Hargeisa who support Somalia and the TFG, and against the secession. However, the important question in play is who the majority of people supporting. That been said, Somaliland is occupying LA by force, and people of LA will liberate their land by any means There are US troops in Iraq to prop up the US invasion & Ethiopian troops to support the TFG as well. As far i know, there were no Somaliland troops in Las Caano to give support to Xaabsade & his ilk. And even if we were to use that analogy, there is a heavy insurgency against those two invading armies, something yet to be seen in Las Caano. Which makes me to believe that it has some local backing,However small of a population it maybe. Anyway, I am sure where the people want, the people get. That means,if the People of Las Caano want to be with Puntland, then so be it. Adios, sister -

So,these are but only a few individuals who have no support from the people? Xoog bay dadku ku haystaan? I just find this hard to believe ya Che. Not that i dont believe you,but commonsense just wont let me accept such a blanket statement. This Xaabsade dude must have some followers? Otherwise, how can one person, impose an unpopular idea on the people? -

Originally posted by -: ^^^The average LA people just want to be left alone in peace till proper Somali government comes to power. These corrupt admins have little to offer anyway. One is run by fat b*stard and the other can't clean the streets of its capital. That still doesnt answer my question. I wasnt talking about the average person. In this day and age, average ppl have no say in the day to day goings of their cities. Somaliland had to use the ppl of LA to do the work,so who are these ppl? Who supports them? Surely, theres gotta be a group of people who support them, otherwise they wouldnt be here for this long.(If ppl say the ppl of LA dont want Somaliland). -
