Mogadishu broadcasters go silent to protest clampdown
Faarax-Brawn replied to BiLaaL's topic in Politics
Originally posted by BiLaaL: This is a limited boycott aimed at drawing international attention to the TFG's illegal and reckless practice in relation to Somali media outlets. It is unfortunate that it had to come to this but these broadcasters have been left with no other choice. This boycott is politically savvy and I applaud it. By the end of this 24 hours, it is the reputation of the incompetent TFG that will dive even further. The broadcasters, on the other hand, would have summoned much-needed international attention and support for the cause of free press in Somalia. Thats a rational way of putting it... -
It is doable and Allah is my witness. This can be done. It takes a man to swallow his pride and make necessary compromises. The time has come Baashi, wax lais weydiyo maxumee, Which men should swallow their pride? Those who thought(think)that the only way to bring a government to Xamar is to invade it or those who are fighting and defending their land against an invading army? Wa qaaluuu....

Looters, warlords, clan court defeat = peace after 17 years
Faarax-Brawn replied to General Duke's topic in Politics
Eh, How sensitive are we, misquoting others. Neither Duke's clan nor any other clan has the authority to reverse the prevailing wind. It is about competing groups against an elected government. Oh really Caamir? Where is this govt that you are talking about? All the world sees is an invading army killing innocent Somalis... Baashi haa laiska daayo, He was misqouted and thoroughly misunderstood. -

However, due to some of your descriptions and demands,I am sorry to inform you that we are unable to approve you for this gig. I)Your stamina does not meet the expectations of the 5.8 boys(grown men)club. Sweating from baranbur and niiko shows that you do not have what it takes to handle the 5.8 clubs demands of a vigorous work it out session. II)Your physical description, from what you have said so far, also does not meet or exceed the quality to entertain the boys club. No flabs,Period!. III.Your glutonous and greedy behavior,is also a factor for the denial. The 5.8club,prides itself to be entertained by women who do not eat fatty foods as Xalwo & baruur. IV. 700 AU Force head for Somalia (despite INSURGENTS vowing to target them)

Originally posted by General Duke: Frax brown you now know the intentions of the Nigerian president? Again how funny people are, Ethiopia and Uganda have troops in Somalia and they are much weaker than that Elephant Nigeria which has a record of going into African countries and helping.. *Sigh*. I have no choice but to proof you wrong again,Yaa Duke. You have forced me to go back to my "special" Duke archives in SOL just to proof something to you. But,anyway,i am not in that corrupt inept Nigerians head, but i know damn too well the likes of the TFG supporters in here. Do these posts here mean anything to you? OCT.14:1700 AU troops to arrive in MOG. NOV 10: Burundi troops coming May 23: More AU troops! April27:More AU troops to arrive Somalia March 10: 4000(ghost) AU troops in MOG More coming..Server too slow, but these were the first one. If i were you,i will wait till these troops deploy, then you should come back. -

700 AU Force head for Somalia (despite INSURGENTS vowing to target them)
Faarax-Brawn replied to NASSIR's topic in Politics
A battalion of 700 troops is ready to fly into the volatile Horn of African state when the president gives the order I will revive this thread the day the president of Nigeria gives the orders to his troops to deploy in Xamar. -
Originally posted by Zafir: Gen Y I caught this clip the past Sunday and thought it was really interesting. The impact Gen Y is creating in the business world is staggering to say the least. I think most of us in some ways relate to what’s being portrayed in this video however way we slice it. In a world that was up worldly mobile, I think we are being represented as a generation that won’t be replacing it. Mainly because of the “Me or I come first factor”, not getting married to more divorce rate, fever kids to none at all and etc. I am not saying baby boomers were/are right, but what do you guys think of Gen Y? Generation Y is a wonderful generation. My work place is populated with them and i am telling you,its catching up to me. Ipod at work-Check Flipflops-Check Facebook uncensord-check quitting anytime-check.LOL I love these guys. No stress, indeediyo!

Don't be naive and trusting, you should see it coming.. Ha ha ha, wa marko qabriga gali lahay, I was more worried for the innocent babes. Only cowardly adults who lack patience and understanding beat kids. Smacking teaches kids through humiliation & pain, totally out of order and unnecessary. Yoniz, keep telling yourself that until you have enough criminal records to inform you otherwise. Ow! I had a different kind of smacking in mind here. Carry on KIDS

Hey Castro. I saw the 60minute clip on this laptops awhile back. The man who started this was first having issues with the launch. The big electronic companies like intel and others were against it at first. Now,though, they have joined hands and i believe this is the best gift you can give to a child. I am actually in the process of starting up a pilot project to help needy kids in peaceful parts of Somalilands(all five regions). I was actually hoping to recruit Libax Sankatabte to see if we can make this an SOL project,[Hi LST ].And since you seem interested, perhaps we can all join hands to make a difference? What say ye good ol Castro?
