  1. ^This guy doesnt care about ODM or the people of Kenya. He has decided and he doesnt give a hoot. its GSU vs Kenya hada..watch for the sh1t to hit the fan caawo.
  2. Odinga has a political power today. If he has the skills required he can milk that capital. Kibaki wants the presidency. Government system is more than presidency. Take judicial system and reform it. Take up the land issue in the parliament and reform it You dont know Kenya Markaas. Everything, even the dooro that sneezes, must pass the dreaded OP ,acronym for Office of the President. Odinga, championed for a referundum that he won which basically reduced the power and influence of the office of the president. Which was to be implemented after he would have been sworn in as Kenya's fourth President. Peace, political negotiotion and compromise is needed. Problem is,we have been there and done that. In 2002,Odinga basically put Kibaki in Power after Moi tried to bring in Uhuru's son. They had an agreement but, days after he was sworn in, he flicked the finger on him. This Impasse basically started in 02,Waxba ma ogidee and Kenya has since been divided. It was 7 provinces(Before Musyoka pulled out) against 1. But,somehow miraculously, Kibaki got voted in. Go figure..... Mjomba,So long as Kibaki is the President and Odinga and his 110 elected MPs(from the rest of Kenya) in the opposition, Filinkaan masoconayo. You are under estimating the level of anger and frustration.
  3. Originally posted by Baashi: Trade-offs budy trade-offs. Unlike you warmongers, peace and stability are far more important to Kenyans methinks. Granted there are corruption and bais in the system but that discrepency can be straighten out without putting the entire house the Kenya is on fire. Anarchy doesn't benefit anyone awoowe. Had Aideed Sr. managed to keep the lid on negative backlash his knsmen axact against old establishment he would have saved Somalia and crowned himself as the uncontested presidenct. Look at us today. What did addressing injustice instituted by military junta has done for the populace. No awoowe let peace prevail in Kenya. Condition is not that bad to wish for anarchy. Baashi, the average Kenyan is a peace loving war hating individual. But, what you are failing to understand here is that, there is a few elite people who have ruled the country since indepedence. These 2% of leaders in the 80s control own almost half the arable land in the country, own most of the businesses and get kickbacks from sham govt contracts. The rest of country, and i mean the entire country is left out. The Western part of Kenya,The North,The South and the East are all under developed and people live below the poverty line. The industries, the businesses, the corporations and ALL Govt entities are all in one tribes hands. The problem is,unless these men are stopped NOW,this will continue. It continued when Kenyatta gave power to MOI and MOI Wanted to give power to Kenyatta's son. This cycle had to and needs to be stopped. Most Kenyans(except Kikuyus) want to end this circle of recycled old guards & their choosen puppets. The majority of the people, want to end this. This election was between the rich(kikuyu) vs the rest of Kenyans. It was about equitable distribution of resources and ending the status quo. That is why, Odinga and his ODM won in 6 out of 8 pronvinces. And Kibaki only one 1 & 1/2 province(his Central province and part of Eastern) whereas Kalonzo Musyoka won only half of Eastern. The funny thing is, these two men,who shared two provinces between themselves are now forming a govt. How ridiculous is this? And do you think the inhabitants of the 6 provinces will agree to be ruled by two men who only won from their own land? HELL NO. Abti, its easy to say peace but its hard to convince a people who have suffered long and who have been cheated. Watch this,Kenya will erupt into some violence caawo(after this cabinet naming).

  6. Originally posted by Isseh: ^^Thats the mistake people make and it leads to complacency and total chaos, sxb. Poor Kenyans don't give a toss about who holds a stake in Kenya or who isn't. They are only concerned with their own frustrations, and don't think that far out. And if Kibaki and his elite rich kinsmen get away with this one, The Luos,Kalenjins,The Luhyas & the Coasterians ALL know that they will forever be under Kikuyu dominance. And that is what they are fighting. Trust me,I think,Kenya will go into turmoil. This Impasse will not be resolved the way Kibakis wants to!

The physical scars have since gone, but the emotional ones are still there!

The only person I was scared off was our dugsi teacher, but he would hit you with his stick on your hand/fingers if you were naughty, that was it. And even then I was soooo good I hardly remember being hit. It's a good thing beating kids is being reconsidered. Macalin Dugsis made chinese camps look like summer camp outs. Have you ever been blind folded, stripped off of of your clothes and get whooped with mareer sticks that YOU actually chopped off from a tree? The thrill about it was that, you dont know where the next one will land @ LOL. Imagine, the humiliation that comes with the laughter and giggles from the girls after seeing you naked & the roaring qosol from the boys when you land into the thorny fence like a headless chicken. It was torture, and what makes me even angrier to date is the fact that, after all those bruises on my body, my mom would still beat me for unknown reasons. OK,Granted i pulled the gambar out of the macalin's a$$ before he sat and he subsequently hit his head on the qurac tree, but i didnt deserve all that yaqoo

Even as ODM shows goodwill by suspending protest rallies, the president is throwing mud at them by recalling parliament and naming his cabinet. The questions is: Is there need to continue negotiating with an individual who has shown over the last five years that he cannot honour agreement?? From kamakucha blog WTF!@!!!

I'm sure we can come with someone who can swim in a straight line, however slowly, no? I thought that swimmer was from Zimbabwe LOL. Will never ever forget that. That was not a diagnol swim,it was zigzag-ish actually. Tehehe. I think,Somalis should represent such unconventional sports as Archery,Shooting & Rowing. I think we can win those sports,Hands down.
  12. Originally posted by me: Faraax Baroon, bal noo sheeg, how is Jenyadi messing with Kenyans for Somalis sake? and all along I thought an ay darlings ahaayeen Kiinyaatigu. Because,Raila Odinga was sympathetic to Islam & has actually met Sh.Shareef. He was an outspoken opponent of the Ethiopian invasion in Mog. He signed a Memorundum of Understanding(MOU) with the Kenyan Muslims whereby among other things, he has promised to bring back all innocent Muslims who were renditioned to Ethiopia & promised to bring to court those folks who were responsible for those illegal act. In this disputed election He has close to 80% approval rating among Muslims and his ODM party performed extremely well in Muslim areas, bagging about 25+ MPs. In all seriousness, this was a man who is a Pan Africanist, a socialists & a very bold maverick leader who can never be swayed or intimidated by the powers that be. In contrast, his opponent, the octogenerian Kibaki, is an ally of Bush(he got invited to statehouse) and is reffered to in state department circulars as " close ally in the war of terror"(read Somalia). Raila Odinga was even endorsed by Sh.Turki,Explains why Duke,Sahar & Emperor are all Pro Kibaki. This was a bitterly contested election that was stolen from the people of Kenya. The four largest provinces in Kenya all voted for Odinga & his ODM. It beats logic that someone can win 110 out of 210 consituencies in 6 out of 8 provinces and still lose. With the support, mind you of the four biggest tribes after the kikuyus. The Luos(15%), the Luhyas(16+%),The Kalenjins(15%), Coast(10%) and another 15% from Massais,Turkana,Somalis & Kisii's. Mind Boggling i tell you. Its like saying, the sports section is the most visited forum in SOL.

Thats a balooned figure. And if that figure is actually true, This even emboldens Raila Amollo's & ODM's stand that the economic growth PNU has been touting, was only for the elite. Because, really,it really isnt visible. 65% of Kenyans live below the poverty line. And i mean, dirt poor. As for Kikuyus, They have been out of power since 1978 and only came back 2002,so how that is "Political dominance" is beyond me. In anycase, Jendayi Fraiser & the Bush Admin are f&ckcing with Kenya because of YOU,Yes,You Somalis.

Perhaps you are thanking her for showing what the Ethiopians are doing to the people? or Thanking her for show casing to the world how your beloved TFG is causing this mayhem?
