Yeah. Specific project, specific period. NG, Hi!
-
NG, really, you're getting old. You should know by now that the higher you go in the corporate chain, the less you actually do. Anyways, more money doesnt necessarily mean better job prospects (and thats more important to me now). The only reason this job pays more is that its contractual.
-
Business-IT. My heart is in some other field tho. Just dont know how to get started on it.
-
^'ll send you lemon cakes via the stork. Val, starts in OCT. But aabo is adamant I dont work till the end of Ramadan (not that I'll even b fasting!)... I'm gonna go in and see what its all about 2morrow anyways. The job description gives me the impression a monkey could do it (and I need a very challenging and dynamic job).

JB was dropped as a child. There is no other way to explain why thinks so laterally.

^ I've been told that you guys are considering moving to my neck of the woods. Is that true? That would be awesome... we could hang out 24/7
-
Can I join this three... Its not a good day for me.. I've a light headache and I'm highly irritable. I should be happy really, I got offered a job that pays slightly more than what Val makes . I'm not sure I'll take it thought.. they want to start too soon.

Frolicking with Farax #2 while Farax #1 is still in the picture? Wrong move #1. I say stick with Farax #1. Especially if you feel there is still something there.

A lot. Dont ever do that again without a warning!

Have you not noticed the name change Xiin? its Serenity. Say it with me, Serenity. And I didnt give up. I distinctly remember giving you a good whooping many-times. Just dont want to sound like a broken record. Its sweet that you're congratulating yourself tho, cause no1 else will Originally posted by Jimcaale: A virtual social solidarity of disagreeing to disagree and tongue-in-cheek hostility to one another. ^ Precisely my point. But Xariifka seems to think when he is ready for minyaro, he can just hit the local mosque and he will have a bunch of little 'beaten' xalimos at his disposal. If only it were that easy.
-
No, I've learned to overlook your craze with minyaro jokes (or atleast I hope they are). I was referring to your implication that religion 'beats a woman in shape' into accepting polygamy. Last time I read on the topic, religion didn't advocate for polygamy and being in a polygamous marriage is never a woman's 1st choice.

Salaams Nur, I would have liked the other two topics even more. They were my 1st and second choice. 1) Monogamy – The ideal family lifestyle. 2) Polygamy – How Somalis abuse it. Any chance, you could give us something on them? link Formerly known as Amelia

The misguided hope that one day we may have a stable country run by sane and rational people who will have read this forum and taken all our thoughts into consideration. Completely mad, I know. But thats Somalis for you. Oh Welcome too

SOL has gone through a lot of trends. And by trends, I mean something that was fashionable at the time. The 1st trend I noticed on SOL when I joined was how impossibly reasonable, polite, say-the-right-thing-even-if-you-would-never-take-ur-own-advice the posts were. Everywhere I read ideal answers written by Val, Blessed, Lady_Fatima, etc. I’m only picking on the girls because they were a 100 times worse than the guys in being mushy and half the posts would get a cringe-factor of 10 if they re-read themselves. Luckily, this went out of fashion and the girls learned that saying the right thing might get you a lot of fans, but not necessarily a unique personality. Next was the era of all-you-can-write a.k.a the age-of-the-baros. The trend was to chat and write as many posts as you can in a day – no matter how trivial or unrelated to the topic at hand. I’m sure every1’s senses have been tattered by this unpleasant time in SOL history. And then we had the mad-mullah, jump-you-down, holier-than-thous invading our private space and slinging unholy mud everywhere they went. One couldn’t even give out an opinion without fear of being out-casted by the self-appointed virtual-moral-police. (Don’t front, ya all remember it). And finally, we have the age of individuality, maturity and writing like 35year olds (well, half the people are 35 and the other half like to pretend they r just as mature).

Dump her. Your 'lady' I mean . She seems insecure and insecure people are a lot of work. If it isn’t you barber, it will be your masseuse, and it isn’t you masseuse, it will be your co-worker. There will always be something. You say its professional (and you're honest with yourself), then so it is and she should get over it and trust you. I dislike people who manufacture problems.
