  1. Hello guys, I just got back from a massive shopping spree and dinner. My back hurts from all the bags and my pocket feels alot lighter . No1 got me any presents this morning (not that gr8 ones anyways) so I decided to treat myself! And I'm oh-so-very-glad! Thank you all.
  2. ^Ilaahay ha is gaadsiiyo. Aamiin dheh
  3. Aww! Now I'm really embarrassed *hides her face*. Thank you Che, you're very nice!
  4. I come to SOL today expecting something... but got nothing. At every turn and corner - graduation in hargeysa, eid party in hackey, etc, there is a celebratory thread but none of it is dedicated to me! Is my birth not worth celebrating?

Grrr. I hate ma new job (I like the pay tho, quite alot actually ). Ii baashaala trolls. I just realized that I started this topic when I was at my last job! I was re-reading some of the earlier pages and it brought back so many sweet memories of my old work place... plenty of internet surfing, email groups, long lunches, sun-bathing sessions and all the wonderful and great looking people there. Oh, this is sad and sweet at the same time.
  6. Aha! So this is what NGONGE has been upto! I knew there was something fishy about him lately and all the restaurant and coffee shop talks!
  7. I miss you guys *sniff sniff*. My manager sits right behind me and I dont check SOL all day. They even have a strict policy about eating your food on your desk so I cant surf SOL during my lunch. *sobs* I miss you guys *hugz*.
  8. Khalaf, hadalkii baa kaa batay.
  9. Khalaf, do you know what this post reminded me of? It reminded me of my dad recounting his student days in medicine, somewhere in India in the 70ties. He once said that, in his the 3rd year, when he was studying pathology (study of diseases), he and others, more or less experienced most of the diseases they learned about. It’s a condition on its own… hypochondria. Its when you self-apply everything you read. Get the point, mr.strange living in a strange time?
  10. ^ Thats terrible Urban, dont mislead the girl! Dont try that Justice. Its dangerous. You're supposed to slowly balance the clutch up and the gas pedal down until the car starts to move. You should try and learn to drive a manual and preferably pass ur test in it... that way you can drive manual or automatic later. If you get an automatic license, you wont be able to drive manual cars.
  11. Khalaf, why do I picture islaan barooraneysa markaan akhriyo waxaad qortid on these boards? Legend, Congrats!
  12. Hello NGONGE, I was watching this and remembered your debate here. Not entirely related but concerns journalism in the arab world.

And surely we will come out with victories by freeing the good people of Hargeysa from the despicable warlords of Riyaale Kaahin and associates. In your d.r.e.a..m.s waryaa.
  14. This is my fave. Simplicity. Comfort. Nice body.
  15. ^ The quick reply is very handy! Testing testing! I don’t buy into the sincerity of your gesture Val. Not for a sec. Tempting the poor folks who are fasting with a topic on FOOD (even if its an assortment of preservative-laden-canned-mix!) You’re a walking sin. Now mods… be kind and delete this!
  16. ^Well Atheer, from where I'm standing its dodgy!
  17. Layzie, of course it isnt a vitamin. I thought you were giving us facts here, not information from dodgy sources. There is nothing to specify the number of times a woman can take it. However, it cannot be used as a regular contraceptive. Thats more closer to facts.
  18. Walnut Tree (the Passion)) — unrelenting, strange and full of contrasts, often egotistic, aggressive, noble, broad horizon, unexpected reactions, spontaneous, unlimited ambition, no flexibility, difficult and uncommon partner, not always liked but often admired, ingenious strategist, very jealous and passionate, no compromise. A bit agreeable here and there for most but I wholly deny the aggressive and jealous parts. Not me.
  19. ^ As I thought. (keeping in mind on how the pill might affect her, and just educate her on the danger of this pill and how a woman can only take it once in her life) Layzie, where did you read that a woman can only take it once in her lifetime? SB, thats one SICK blog.
  20. So I went to check out the place.. looks very techy n nerdy.. and it seems, the description was vague on purpose.. you do something completely different..slightly more exciting n techy, I suppose. The best part... I can use MSN
  21. ^ Yes. SB, thanks for the info dude. Will keep that in mind. Fab, I dont know what self-assessment is all about but I would like to be able to approach u if it comes down to it.
  22. ^I'm not too sure but I was told there would be no tax on money I spend on transport or food (which is pretty much ALL I spend my money on besides shopping  )
