Hello guys, I just got back from a massive shopping spree and dinner. My back hurts from all the bags and my pocket feels alot lighter . No1 got me any presents this morning (not that gr8 ones anyways) so I decided to treat myself! And I'm oh-so-very-glad! Thank you all.

I come to SOL today expecting something... but got nothing. At every turn and corner - graduation in hargeysa, eid party in hackey, etc, there is a celebratory thread but none of it is dedicated to me! Is my birth not worth celebrating?

Khalaf, do you know what this post reminded me of? It reminded me of my dad recounting his student days in medicine, somewhere in India in the 70ties. He once said that, in his the 3rd year, when he was studying pathology (study of diseases), he and others, more or less experienced most of the diseases they learned about. You should try and learn to drive a manual and preferably pass ur test in it... that way you can drive manual or automatic later. If you get an automatic license, you wont be able to drive manual cars.
